Never mind Andy it’s a learning curve. You are more braver than me. If you ever see my attempt’s at putting IKEA flat pack furniture together. Well I try to read the instruction. But always left with lots of bits😂. They end up in the bin. It seems to work out in the end even with me having parts left over 👍.

Thanks Andy for this update. I saw your original video and decided to do this to my 15 year old 1861 Speedy. I'm just about to order the clear case back and your tips are golden. As you say, the installation guide on the web site is poor and there is no mention of fitting the extra gasket.

Not contemplating changing the case back on my old Speedie but I have installed a new Omega quick adjustment clasp. This was an original Omega part and it’s made an amazing difference as I find my wrist size changes significantly when it’s hot or cold
