I was selected in 2022 in Infosys till no update after that I I learnt Java and Android development with Kotlin but no one gives me job(not even 5k per month job) after that now I am getting frustrated and took a mechanical job(12 hr a day) and salary is 9k only. The whole IT sector disappointed me.

You can use javascript. But in apti rounds there are programs written in cpp, so you should also be familiar with cpp code too. Javascript will definitely give you an edge over others in off-campus hirings, particularly in startups, because they focus on your proficiency with language being used in their codebase, and usually, it is JS.

Hi, I have 2+ yrs of experience as backend developer, and my team in the company is now working in ML with full adrenaline, and it catches my attention due to Generative AI buzz. I do want to participate in this collective learning, but I now also want to switch for better compensation and profile. The truth is that the impact of AI is irreversible. Now you will need less and less people to do the same thing. The job which required 10 developers, now need 2-3 developers. Same goes for testing. And I think it is only going to become worse. This is the situation when AI is not so mature. Think about the situation when it becomes little mature. Maybe we will not need developers at all in future. And you are right this is not happening for first time. But this time the reason is completely different. IT will grow for sure, but not jobs. I mean why someone would hire a pile pf coder when a bot can do same thing. Job market is not going grow in IT. May be a new kind of jobs emerge in future. I am not trying to scare anyone, but that's the reality of current situation.

Parikh Sir; you stated valid points in this video..I can truly relate to the current scenario...yeh time recession+high level competition ka hai and getting ta job for a fresher is really tough and demanding BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE! I'm a self taught Developer and I come from a Bsc, MSc backgorund in Geology (Non IT) and have a year gap of 5 years...phir bhi recently I cracked a Web dev psoition as a fresher in a startup during this scenario of recession...market standards ko dhyan rkhna padega kyuki pay scale utna nahi milega but getting into the domain should be 1st priority.....Skills ke saath jigda bhi chaihiye aise time pe khudko challenge karne ke liye..All the best....Godspeed! 🙏

With due respect, I am very sure that the market will improve but that will be very little change with current. 2008 and 2023 are similar in terms of recession, but recession is not the only reason this time. The rise of generative AI ( if you would have used GPT 4 you know) will be giving a better options to companies to reduce cost. Teams will be reducing size in future from 10 to 4, or if some companies prefer to keep 8, the pay will be very low. This is not just for web developers but for AI engineers as well. No one knows how the things will gonna work out, but its a very challenging time ahead. Also, the demand will be lesser is future, and supply will always increase, as we are producing 2 million engineers every year. So less jobs , more unemployment and lesser pay. The value of expertise is gonna reduce or will be devalued, then the question is what will be valuable ? I think the stuffs which AI can't do like decision making, spirituality, personality, this things could be more valuable.

(1) "domain" means business domain, like Insurance, Banking, Retail etc, not same as technology stack (2) IT Services companies and software product development companies are very very different, do not equate Infosys, Tech Mahindra with SAP or Microsoft for heaven's sake (3) IT services companies pay high salary is a big myth, PSU companies pay way better

Bhai mujhe last semester ke liye 2 specialization choose karn hai. Usmein se mein ne ek Web development choose Kiya hai aur what to select second. Options are Big data, Programming with python, cloud computing and agile software development. Please in 4 options mein se kaunsa choose karu. Please reply🥺🥺

U can go with cloud, or python in my opinion. But Don't ur hopes up as u only get to very basics in college especially if u r from tier 3 college. Choose any and work daily on any major skill like coding, web dev

Most Important: Everyone wants experineced candidate but how would one become experienced if he isnt offered a job????....Every experienced was once a fresher but companies are living in day dream. Even if you get one, the toxic work culture will make life hell. No surprise people are moving towards govt. Jobs but waha pe bhi situation same.

Hats off to Accenture and IBM They are still hiring for internships as well as full time employees. Being a Java developer i know we are not getting replies but the only thing we can do is have patience and keep on applying for opportunities. Hope everyone will get the job soon 🤠🎉
