Maybe because Wings is an Outro that's why it turns out like that, didn't have proper structure of one song. But overall this song is still great to me, mostly uplifting me:)
To add to your comment Wings was the outro for the wings album obviously and it ended on the first chorus it was a short outro Later on HOBi I believe if I'm not mistaken added all extra music part and his second verse and it became a full outro song for the "u never walk alone" album
Hana Ben actually it was an interlude for wings album and for you never walk alone album (almost 4 months after the release of wings) they made the outro for wings ☺️ (sorry for my English, I’m not a native speaker)

BTS songs are so good,you can read their lyrics and immediately knw how incredibly talented they are.how can each and every song of an album b so good,they are that hardworking.but ppl still like to look down upon them,atleast have some respect.

Outro Wings is such a great song and I recommend, when you listened to every song of the wings album, to listen to the whole album in order because this song is even greater then. It is such a great conclusion and an hopeful end to the album. This is one reason I love BTS so much: Not only the songs are good on their own and not only one song tells a story, but every album have a story line, so that you can ride an emotinoal rollercoaster. That's the reason why I disagree with you on your wish that the song have a "normal" song structure, because it fulfills in my point of view its part as Outro perfectly. However, nice reaction.

Apart from having bouncy and bright beats, this song makes me feel emotional. It has some pain underlying with the flying feeling. Idk how to describe it but this song can make me cry. What I love about bts songs that I cant find in other song is not bcoz of catchy or sth like that, ofc there is a lot of song with catchy and good nice beats, makes yoi vibe with it. But bts songs makes me feel, makes me imagine, just like if they are singing about flying, I can imagine and feel the flying feeling. You never walk alone can makes me feel like Im underwater, and airplane makes me imagine im on a plane even I have never been on one. Idk, the feels in the song. Like pain, tiredness, sad, happy, bright feeling, joy, everything. You can choose any genre you want and search it in bts playlisy. There will be at least 5 songs that will match your taste.

There's two versions of this song: one from Wings album, Interlude: Wings, and one from You Never Walk Alone, that's this one u r reacting to. The version from Wings album doesn't have this music break and Hobi verse, just end right after the chorus
I understand how hard it is to say honest opinion . I am so sick of all the reactors who are hyping up regardless of music quality just because of views. Outro wing was surprisingly became one of my countless favorite songs of Bts after I saw them performing during speak yourself tour. There are not many artists whoes live are better than studio versions . Their live performance have power to make songs more meaningful and memorable.

Yassshh, its my fav outro !!! Wings era is something if you know why and I really love jhope's part at the end 😭 and Jk's falseto too I feel sad but happy at the same time when I listen to this song
