My addiction to this, poison love, and so many other of their more pop bsides is unhealthy like i ADORE their title tracks and their bsides that stick with that genre but ugh this song is perfection. Just pls reprint their albums i wanna collect Jiu but her cards are so expensive 😭
No question, this is my favorite song off this album. I thought Because topped it for a couple weeks but nope, Whistle is incredible. Also some of my favorite Yoohyeon, Sua, Jiu and Handong vocal performances. Perfection.
One of my fave DC songs already. It's the little things in this song for me, the quiet rising vocal in the chorus in the background, the way the pace subtly speeds up with Dami's rap so smoothly and really feels like it's taking the song somewhere, the beauty of the slow down of the bridge and Yooh's vocals. Siyeon's power. Jiu's vocal sweetness. This song just feels smooth and exciting at the same time. I can imagine driving somewhere in the middle of the night with this playing, focused and anticipating what lies ahead. I heard that it was actually in the running to be the title track.
ah you are getting better at interpreting dc's lyrics \:D/ they actually said before this album they didn't sing about love so there is a love song, could it be whistle? open to interpretation I guess but a lot of the phrases fall into similar themes involving a connection with insomnias. I can see it as the feeling of performing their last song at a concert and they know they are about to part with fans so they want everyone to join in with a whistle, bonding by singing the song together.

Love all of DC’s discography, but as I am a sucker for their more edm style songs, this one hit me right in the heart. This whole album is great for cruising around in the summer sunshine

Yesssss thank you for the reaction This is probably one of the most unique and different DC albums eventhough some of the songs weren't my personal favourite, I still appreciate them for trying new sounds and making different music Also shout out to Leez and Ollounder for making such great songs for DC
