I’M SCREAMING, this is art, I think that was one of the biggest surprises that ITZY caused me in all those years as Midzy. Just perfect, I hope everyone can appreciate and feel what I feel with this MV. ITZY, thank you very much.
For the people trashing GOLD as a title, this is their alternative for you. ITZY can pull off multiple concepts, that’s just how the group’s ethos is. Take it away ITZY!
You're entitled not to like the song, but to say it's bad isn't true. Especially since, if you want to like this song, you have to listen to it several times to appreciate it, because it grows on you, so the more you listen to it, the more you like it.
"Imaginary Friend" has a sentimental and mature vibe, quite different from what we expect. The song talks about loneliness and the desire for an imaginary friend, with a soft and melancholic sound that fits perfectly with the lyrics. The MV is beautiful, very well produced, and complements the entire atmosphere. I hope there will be more songs like this, and that the return has been positive. Chaeryeong looks stunning with that blonde hair! "Gold" has a powerful energy and is full of confidence. The rhythm is fast-paced and catchy, with lyrics that make you feel amazing. Meanwhile, "Supernatural" is more mysterious and intense, with an electro atmosphere that envelops you and pulls you into a mystical vibe. Of all the songs, these were the ones that caught my attention the most!
Check out the song structures the way the vocals go from SoloLia vocal to the chorus more and more vocal pops up….when you listen using headphone you hear more and more voices of the members left and right ear its insane.. This song is one of their best with lower vocal registers like Bet On Me… Their vocal is just greatly used in this song
It was Yeji and Ryujin's scene that first reminded me of Wannabe Yeji: The camera angle shots of her standing amidst the crowd Ryujin: the clearest, the mirror Chae: Running away Lia: The table, chairs and chandelier but this time all old and dusty and covered up I'm each, they no longer face it alone. the other members take turns to join them in the scene I just figured out Yuna's. It's an antithesis. Being trapped in a dark room sitting in a tank vs out publicly strutting on a runway This is just my theory but the Yeji, Ryujin and Chae ones are very much clearer Such a masterpiece
Yeji once said in an interview that this was supposed to be their main title track for this album, but they then looked for a song that was good performance-wise.
I'm pretty sure those wounds are swan inflicted 🦢 I love the slowness of this and the backing dancers hidden behind them adding an extra set of hands to the moves is a really satisfying visual. Great to hear some real harmonies in a K-Pop chorus too.
This song describes how a person can see and embrace the shadow side within himself, and then allow himself to grow. It also describes the support among members. It's a really beautiful song.
Aron is that you at least listen to the b-side of Itzy see meme bet on me because this type of song they have already several times in their career but not as a main song. It smokes me out when people only listen to the main songs to give an opinion.
@EL1PSE Yeah, maybe. I think the sets were good. It's a more emotional song, so there wouldn't need to be too many things happening in the video. But could be most of their budget was spent on GOLD, cause that music video was all real physical sets with very small amounts of CGI (see Gold MV behind).
