"When I wrote the song , I dug deep and reached into the purest, the most uncontaminated corner of my heart. From there, I filtered and re-filtered what I could find before turning it into a song. So it makes me feel good when I listen to it." She wants to represent her when she's no longer in this world.
IU wrote Heart for Uaena and said she wants this song to be in graved on her grave stone because this song was written to uaena from the bottom of her heart! IU is so genuine and humble!
She was asking the band members for suggestion what to sing as it was the last concert they will be having for the year and the whole tour. When Raindrop was suggested by the drummer, she said it was a song that she will be doing all the hard part and not much drums. Which was why the drummer was trying to keep his laughter in check. I think this was the longest concert she had. And after more than 4 hours singing, she still nailed the high notes.
And indeed raindrop is a hard song, if you try to sing alone you run out of breath quickly, and out of key way before that! But IU is a magician, so even when tired she can go on the ups and downs of a harmonic rollercoaster like a walk on the park!
I didn't see anyone like her that really love her team and actually care about them! Look at the light design around the members of her band! No one isn't like her and that's why i can't left this fandom💜
It's rare but I actually prefer listening to IU's live vocals than to the studio versions. Obviously both versions are amazing but her live vocals are just insanely amazjng
IU was asking the band for some song requests when Seungho oppa (drummer) requested Rain Drop. IU complained saying it was a hard song (understand that it was the en-encore, 4th hour going 5th of her singing straight, and she was "tired") lol but UAENAs cheered and she had no choice. She gave him a stink eye LMAO but agreed that it was a nice song at the end. Heart is always the last song she sings (during en-encore). It's a song for UAENA. For the future concerts, I think Epilogue could be the ending song for the concert proper,, BUT Heart for the en-encore. IU says she gets "healing" whenever she and her fans sing it together. :))
@@maryjanesalaysay2251 I don't know with the other band members but the guitarist Jukjae (also a singer-songwriter) already signed with Antenna Music and she decided to let him go.
She loves so much that she includes this song in her every song set list of her concerts. She said one of her happiest moments of concert is when i sing and uaenas sing along with her.
Do remember, this part was performed after a full length of concert. She had already sang more than 3 hours nonstop. Still she can perform perfectly! How lovely and treasure she is! Wish she can protect her throat and voice sincerely so that we can hear her song longer and longer! 😍👍
IU said Rain Drop is so difficult that it alters her voice so she can only sing it for encores. In one of her RU-vid shows someone suggested starting a concert with Rain Drop and she immediately shot down the idea.
She asked her two band members which song for encore and the drummer requested Rain Drop. IU said she thought that they would choose a song in which their skills are shown. Point me if I wrong.
Right, but she acted as if she got angry at them saying that Rain Drop is a song that she herself, not the band, had to work hard. (Maybe because the song is very difficult since her vocal is emphasized in it😁)
recently she picked this song "HEART" as one song she wants to people remember her when after she die... as her explanation, it was made every good parts she;ve found from the deep inside of her mind
heart is a special song, its like an anthem for uaena, and the lyrics is so beautiful :) Rain Drops is actually a cover from Wheesung song... :) the lyrics is actually sad tho :') anyway thank you Aaron :) you already reacted to soooo many IU stuff... we appreciate it so much. I just hope at least, from time to time you can read and learn a bit from the comment section, bcs sometimes there are important stuff missing from your first reactions (well, its understandable).
Please react to CL’s Hwa performance on the late late show with James corden! CL was also the first ever Korean to guest on his show back in 2016 with Lifted!
