Since you seem to go out of your way to watch Kdramas that have Kpop stars, make sure to watch Love Rain with Yoona from SNSD. I liked it but many didn't. I think it was because they had part of the series set in the '70s and part in the 2010s, and I think gen-z couldn't stand to watch anything that didn't have smartphones and no internet.
