Something to note about that clip of Kai crying and Taemin hugging him. The funny thing is that Kai was crying because SHINee had just won artist of the year. Kai was crying because he was happy for Taemin. It wasn't because he was happy or sad for himself. 🥰

Taemin n kwonho friends since elementary school , while timotheo, kai n taemin friends since trainee in SM when they 12 y.o , tand they 4 becamo close to each other. And than kai meet Ravi from Vixx , and bring Ravi to them but Ravi not in padding squad but taemin also really close with Ravi, and then Timotheo bring Ha sungwon (member from bb Hotshot too) , and than Sungwoon close with J-Hope from BTS cz J-Hope n Sungwoon trainee together, but J-Hope dont really like to hangout toghter, and than J-Hope introduce Jimin to Ha Sungwoon, and than Jimin became a member of Pading squad. The End . Anw, I think the friend that Taemin tell really like skinship is Kwonho or Timotheo not Jimin, cz Taemin close with Jimin since 2016 n that video from 2013/2014 I guess

Taemin is 6 months older than Kai. Taemin was born in July 1993 and Kai was born in January 1994. So not exactly the same age, but from the same birth generation. And Taemin entered SM as a trainee a little before Kai as well. Plus, SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. That is why, even though they are super close, in certain situations, Taemin is still considered Kai's senior. 😊

I got to discover Shinee thanks to this lovely friendship of Kai and Teamin. EXO as a whole even appeared on WE GOT MARRIED show in helping Teamin with his surprise event for his partner, Apink's Naeun. And literally all the members of both groups are good friends.

Naeun is a member of Apink and she was Taemin's wife on the TV show We Got Married. So the person who made this video was using the clip to make it look like Kai was saying that Taemin belonged to him and that he wasn't going to let Naeun have him by pulling Taemin away from Naeun and closer to him. LOL However, if you watch the actual episode from the show you will see that this clip was taken slightly out of context and Kai was really pulling Taemin away from Naeun because they were playing a game where Naeun and Taemin had to answer questions about each other, so they couldn't sit next to each other. (Sorry, it feels like I just took all the magic out of that clip.)

Such a good choice for reaction. "Pretty Boy" is such a precious collab of Kai and Taemin in the early days. If you choose to react, I advise the SM Town stage where Kai is in a white shirt and a bowtie. It's easy to see how Kai tries not to screw up and not to take too much space on his bff's stage. And the song is so good! Btw, have you seen SuperM 'Midterm Exam'? It's so funny and you get to know some facts about the members. Taemin is actually older than Kai. The part where they tried to feel their hearts was before their first performance as SuperM in the USA at Capitol Records, they were VERY nervous. I love watching TaeKai interviews and shows, they are so similar and so different at the same time.

Okay so from what I remember (could be wrong) the original friend group was Taemin, Kai, Moonkyu who were all sm trainees at a really young age and kwonho who was a school friend and not a celebrity. Ravi later became their friend when he and Kai met at a music show, Vixx (Ravi’s group) and exo debuted around the same time so they met often. They’re also the same age so he got close with the rest of the group quickly. Sungwoon debuted with moonkyu in another group called hotshot and became really good friends with the rest of them (also the same age). Jimin as far as I can tell is the only that’s not really the same age as the rest of them but joined because he was friends with sungwoon. The amount of times they’ve called each other when asked to spontaneously call a friend to show up for a schedule. So much so that there’s so much content of their stupidity together lmao. Usually it’s kai, taemin, Ravi, moonkyu and kwonho. My favorite moments include: that time kai, Ravi, and moonkyu were walking along hangang in the middle of the night and celebrated taemin’s birthday without taemin; honestly all of their ig lives with each other are the best 😂; the chaos that was caught on camera for rareTaem 😂, ravi spontaneously calling taemin on the variety show 2 days 1 night to teach the cast how to dance to move (he was literally busy with a comeback but agreed within 10 minutes); Ravi having to post on his ig story that kai forgot his ig password and to let the exo-ls know that’s why he hasn’t been posting; kwonho and Kai attending taemins fake wedding; Ravi’s vlog with Kai where they went to hangout at the park and was just there no talking for who knows how long doing their own thing but together 🥹, taemin randomly running into Ravi at a restaurant and was sharing one chair so they would both be in frame; when moonkyu and kwonho surprised kai on his RU-vid show.

Taemin and Jimin are from BTS and Kai from EXO are friends and there is Ravi too and someone whose name I can't remember

They have like a friendship test that they did once and i found out they know so much on eachother but in here there was almost nothing from it so maybe you should check it out sparely. And by the way taemin and kai have a really close friends in their squad from what i know it's: kai, taemin, ravi from vixx, Timoteo from hotshot, jimin from bts and one more fried that i don't remember, but they are going a lot out together, you should check all of them together

they're not actually the same age, but Kai was born before lunar new year, in certain countries in Asia, those who were born before new year are considered born the year before. tho it's not an official thing. Basically Kai is a year younger, but because he was born in January, he enrolled to school a year early and graduate in the same batch as Taemin.
