HONEST REACTION to TAEYONG, JENO, HENDERY, YANGYANG, GISELLE 'ZOO' Stage Video 

Taeyong came up with all the moves for the choreo, then taught them to another choreographer who then helped with the formation! He talked about it in an interview recently :)

In the last chorus you could hear monkey sounds. That was Yangyang's voice actually. The producer asked him if he could mimic any animal sounds and he did the monkey sounds that it actually made it in the song. Taeyong, Jeno and Giselle wrote their parts.

TAEYONG choreographed this in about 2 days, then taught it to Bada Lee (his choreographer friend), who then helped him with the formations. He talked about it in more detail in his WKorea interview. Funfact - there wasn't supposed to be a stage for Zoo but TAEYONG liked the song a lot and thought it'd be wasteful for it to remain as a b-side so he was the one that pushed for it. He managed to plan and create a choreo despite his already packed schedule. That's on being an Ace! His choreo went viral after he posted the dance guide on his Instagram, where he is dancing with Bada and other choreographers are helping them out since it's a 5-people choreo. Btw, this is not the first time he has choreographed. His major other work was for Bring The Noize but he has also choreographed Whiplash and his solo dance stages during award shows.

The chemistry between the boys and Giselle's voice and rapping is so good. Idk if I explained it right but, that's how I feel about this song. People are bashing Gigi because she's stiff in dancing, but she's not branded as a dancer, and somehow she tried dancing. She's actually a rapper and sub vocalist in Aespa. Just like other groups in KPOP, not every singers can perfectly dance just like their "main dancers", same goes with all the the artists that are branded as dancers, they are not that excellent in singing just like how the "main vocalist" does.

KWANGYA is the actual word used in their lyric since this means "wilderness" in Korean. The "G" in korean sounds like "K" when pronounced :)

"Kwangya" indeed translates to "Wilderness" "Kwangki" means something wild or crazy. And the 'gieot'(g/k sound) in 광야 can be written with both g and k.

g and k in korean are almost the same. As for the meaning of Kwangya, yeah it is actually a korean word which means WIlderness. The same word used in SM Universe. That's why if you see Kwangya (on Ep. 1 Black mamba) it looks like wilderness because it is.

the whole song slaps but damn, the chorus is just magical. combined with the perfect choreography, it just sends me to another world. that's what I love about sm and sm artists as a whole. they know what to do to captivate you thoroughly. from vocals, rap, visuals, dance, overall performance. they're just on another level.

I think the korean is gwangya, the meaning is Wilderness But SM makes Kwangya not with G, and its their universe

Kwangya/gwangya are the same, just different romanization of 광야. The letter ㄱ is a combination of G and K sounds, the letter ㅋ is strictly the K sound. Since 광야 uses ㄱ it can be spelled either way in english. Theres some other korean letters that represent 2 roman letters like ㅂ,ㄹ,ㅈ, etc.

Kwangya word is actually taken from gwangya like both are same things just the difference of G and K doesn't makes any difference. Gwangya Or kwangya in korean means wilderness or like a place that is a desert or wasted place so that's why sm universe kwangya looks like a desert.

Aaron as a dancer you will truly enjoy this ZOO dance demo with taeyong & bada lee (in jeno's role) & several dancers she works with. ALL of them are pro dancers & chorographers which is why this demo is SO good! (And by extension the song is also better) I can't think of another time when we have been allowed to see the choreographer's demo for an NCT stage and we only get to now because this is TAEYONG'S choreo & HE posted it himself. It's this demo of taeyong collaborating with pros (and not the actual NCT member stage) that blew up into the tiktock challenge. The demo created a demand for the song itself. But tbh in a night of stellar live SMTOWN stages this ZOO performance did not impress all that much. It was cute but it had a rushed disjointed feel (taeyong had lobbied for the ZOO stage choreoed it & put it together in 8 days) Which may be why taeyong took matters into his own hands by releasing this demo version of Taeyong dancing ZOO with HIS true peers (pro dancer/choreographers) To finally SEE taeyong dance in the company of pros shows beyond doubt how very good HE truly is. It explains why his SuperM peers are more seen than he is as top rated SM MAIN DANCERS (Kai Taemin Ten) THEY are ALL featured as centers in solos with select crews of pro backup dancers while Taeyong is ONLY seen centering with his NCT MEMBERS. The 127 squad are skillfull & stylish all rounders that he has lead & mentored so they match and the overall dance level of his group is impressive. But when we actually SEE taeyong dance WITH pros, what choreographers routinely TELL us about Taeyong is clear. HIS own dancing is on a higher level. I dont think we really GOT that...until now.
