It’s been over a month and I haven’t received my deposit back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I’m really disappointed. I paid for the rental car and showed all respect to the company and the people whose working there but this is what I get in return. They told me that it takes two working weeks and I talk to them after two weeks and said it will take another two weeks. Extremely disappointed.

Great review and a lot of useful info , well done and Thank you . I am planning to take kids to Turkey and we planning to land in Antalya insha-ALLAH , so provided this AVEC company could hand me the car over at airport or is close by to airport I will definitely use them .

@@MK-uu2nb I am in Turkey and I have Hired a Car , but from a different company who goes by the name "AddCar" , they dont have an office in Airport , but they do come and collect you from Airport , which in Antalya is about 5 minutes drive from their office. The reason I went with them was because they have mostly positive reviews on Trustpilot , I have the car and I think it helps alot when you have your own car because it gives you more freedom to go to places which otherwise be difficult and expensive . I come from Britain and so everything was a bit of a shock to be honest as far as driving goes 😄. Steering to the left of the car , Driving on the wrong side of road , all road signs are only in Turkish and on top of that no knowledge of towns and Roads . But you do get used to it eventually , I got my confidence after about 2 trips on the road , but one thing I would most definitely recommend is " SatNav or GPS system" because trust me you will need it. As far as how good "AddCar hire company" is , they are so far so good , but they will show their real self when I return the car , so I'll write another review when I return the car after a couple of weeks.

Did you buy extra insurance or did the car came with standard insurance? Also i heard it is bit diffucult to find the Way from the internationel terminal to the domestic where the Office is located?

I don't buy insurance since my credit card comes with primary Insurance which is very rear. I definitely recommend buying local insurance from the company to give you peace of mind. Car offices are split into 3 sections 1)Very few are inside right by domestic doors easy to access from international 2) Outside of the terminal easy Walk 3)Shuttle service to 34d spot which is 5 mins away for example Sixt rental is shuttle service.

@@Refugee2LivingTheDream But do Avec not have a standard insurance included? Which means you only have to pay excess amount of money if you damage the car? I assume that if you damage the car totaly you dont have to pay the full Price of the car? Also bare the Avec location - I just read some reviews that people who arrive in the Night have difficult to find an open Avec Office?

None of them have any kind of free insurance. They do have different options if you want to pay for it. Those reviews are based in old location. New location is right outside of the exit doors with bunch of others near airport parking.

Hi. I recently went for a holiday and rented a car in Dalaman, turkey. The company is called right cars. The rental car company turned out to be an absolute scam. They did not follow conditions written in the rental confirmation email. Instead of blocking the deposit they charged the actual credit card. Secondly, they charged a higher deposit of 900 Eur instead of Eur 650 written in contract. Thirdly, they charged in turkish lira using an exchange rate of their choice. It was 11pm at night and i had no option so I went along. Now I read their reviews online that they will do everything to avoid giving the deposit back. What are my options?

You can buy cheap but must be all cash purchase. If you get a loan that's where it goes sky high.

Very Nice and informative VLOG. I am wondering if we need to buy 3rd party liability on car insurance in Turkey or is it included by default in the rental price ?

Definitely not included and they will upsell you bunch of options. I personal never get it since my Chase Credit card comes with primary insurance for rentals. Check your credit cards to see what options you have before buying. Also, American Express cards offer one flat rate usually around $25 for the entire rental. Hope this helps
