I’ve seen both RRR and KGF chapter 2. All I can say is honestly I wish the love North Indian audience have shown for KGF 2 should have been received for RRR. KGF was a bunch of mass elevation scenes tied together by a thin plot line. Whereas RRR actually had world class story telling and VFX.
I watched this movie after 3 day of RRR. I never seen such hype for any movie like this had. I must say that I am pretty disappointed. This movie does not even come close to the cinematic experience I had in RRR. I found this movie very midiocore. I actually liked the first kgf than this one because in the second half of the first movie we actually see Rocky's character growth. But the reason I didn't connect with him here because I found his character very problematic in this movie. And I tell you why, In last movie he killed main villain Garuda and became hero of all the people who was exploited in gold mines by garuda. But in this movie he does the same he even put the guns in the hands of children for his own benifit. He was misogynist. He kidnapped main female lead and treated like she has no free will whatsoever. With all those flaws this movie constantly glorifying him. This entire movie felt like "Aarti" of Rocky Bhai. The biggest missed opportunity in this is movie is that not once we see his self conflict or regret for his actions. I would have liked in the movie if he'd have realised that in pursuit of being the wealthiest person he lost his ways. That's what I liked in first movie he came to kill someone in mines but later his mission becomes the impedance of exploited people in mines. This movie takes total 180 turn to what they established in first movie. Editing of this really bad there cut in every one second you won't know who's punching whom. I have heard so much praise for sunjay Dutt's character in this movie but it was disappointing too, his character was very one dimension he comes at the beginning shows how badass he is and than get his asskicked by Rocky and later comes in the end just to get killed by Rocky. There was not depth to his character they wasted all the build up for his character. I know I have very unpopular opinion for this movie and your opinion can be different than mine.

Why I was hyped? Because I liked chp1 and it's ending made me super duper excited. And that teaser showed the true characterization of Rocky bhai, which made me more excited

Finally, someone who makes sense. I felt the same. KGF 2 is elevations elevations elevations right from start to end which felt mundane. BGM was overemphasized, bassy strong tone for every buildup dialogue, dubstep music for swag scenes, and over-the-top cringe dialogues. I seriously don't understand what's with the public. They are loving it to the core. Perhaps it suits our audiences who crave only for Invincible alpha male generic movies.

Raveena as Ramika was meant to be vociferous but no impact,her facial expressions were only showing grunt all the times,no other expression! See even in those times south movies were remaded into hindi ones like DEVADASU, Vishwamithra,etc. But hindi ones also used to shine in those days. And many movies were remade in south India too. But to call them sasta copy of 80's Bollywood is not that respectable.

I don't know what has happened to the so called movie reviewers. We watch a movie to escape the reality and enjoy a heck of a time. If KGF 2 is able to entertain and we don't get bored at any time then that movie is a worth watch...the cinema was made for this purpose only.. everytime we don't want to see reality and get a message or anything from a film. All we want is entertainment and this movie has it all in loads. Bollywood movies fail to provide this type of entertainment these days!!
Each movie has its own plus points and minus points. If someone has completely loved the movie, then he must have overlooked the minus points. But this doesn't makes other people wrong who have observed those minus points. KGF, being a good entertainment, has some bad aspects too.
For the people who are saying that only brainless fan of yash likes kgf like salman khan fanbase. Listen to me i never in my life watched yash’s movie never i never heard of him before. But what a great performance he delivered the dialogue where not cringe at all like bollywood these days. Its not a realistic movie but thats not what they tried make . Its enjoyable great dialogues great performance great writing great directions a little bit long story but this movie is so good that you wouldnt mind. And the ending of kgf 2 was the best ending in any movie i have watched from indian cinema.

Most accurate review of KGF Chapter 2. It is heavily stylized, action sequences are great, Yash is God - no one can even touch him, etc. but as a movie it’s nothing great. There are a million critics on RU-vid, all calling it a masterpiece. But it is not.

Story average . *Spoiler alert* Starting ke 1/2hr maza aata goosebumps aate aaisa lagata pata nahi kya dek rahe, rocky ki entry or adhera ki sab ki entry but fir rocky ki entry repetative lagti kam se kam 7-8 baar slow motion me aata to boring lagta hai. Last me kyo maar ne jata hai ex pm ko wo bahut fast show kiya, jisne kgf 1 bahut phele dekhi hai or yaad nahi hai usse jada pata nahi chalega, link nahi kar paiga. South me waise bhi bahut extra drama karte hi hai kahi kahi serious scene me hasi aajati hai. Enjoyable movie hai.

KGF gave me a headache and I still am unable to understand the hype behind it. KGF was absolutely a horrible horrible movie. Worse than bhai entries, loud BGM and cheesy non-sensical dialogues. There was no coordination with the story, the hero just turned up 50 times, said some BS which was supported by super-loud and cringy BGM and exaggerated reactions from all parties. KGF's success actually underlines what is wrong with our world. Hype and perception based BS trumps everything.
Why the people in comments are triggered, both are genuinely reviewing movie and telling how average person who is not fan of Yash would feel about the movie, honestly I feel felt movie watch average, the cinematography was epic but loud BGM, average plot and lack of attention to side characters ruined the experience. It's not question of bollywood or tollywood if movie is good everyone will praise whatever it's origin.

The movie is way much better in its original language “kannada” to be honest I tried to watch it in Hindi because I didn’t wanted to read subtitles but seriously I couldn’t watch 10 mins in hindi I changed it back to its original language. This movie doesn’t disappoint and yes it is made for Fans of K.G.F if you are not, simply don’t watch it.

Just because it has more mass elevation sequences which some would call as masala ( which i don't agree) , it doesn't miss the chance to be a masterpiece. When you closely look at all the Technicalities it has rendered, it is not lesser than a hollywood movie. And to be more specific, no other Indian movie till now has given this output in terms of techicality, it's top notch. That's enough to call it a masterpiece. Of course i agree it doesn't have much story, but that's not the only criteria for judging Whether it's a masterpiece or not. If it wasn't worth, then movie wouldn't be breaking records in box office. Only hype can never give this kind of collections. It's a masterpiece for cinematic experience, just go there and enjoy every minute. Ps: bgm was loud.

dude in mother wala scene its okay but even elevation when he just makes a phone call without even revealing who he is speaking to for few seconds. it will be an even more super awesome movie if there are no these kind of elevations. This movie is shit. Seriously how much toxic masculinity is glorified. Like he is getting his super powers from drinking and smoking. So many youngsters will get influenced in a wrong way from this movie. Whole movie is in slow motion.

Bhai grand tha sab ha music thoda h but mahol me sab sahi lagta h jab aap enjoy kr rahe hote ho aur music se jaida to sitiya aur taliya bajti h theatre me. @@Amihandlemarina i have seen Sonny boy, attack on titan, several political anime . Japanese anime are not just some "thought provoking piece of stories" they do all that + reflect the culture ingrained in Japan. Even in their German, European adaptions they heavily induce Japanese culture. Recent films from south seem to be doing the same. For a KGF we also produced kantara . Anime industry wouldn't be what it is without what you would classify as masala contents like one piece or bleach. Stories in bleach and one piece both are pretty simple and repitatibe
