Let’s take an Honest Look See at The Ninja Wood Fire Portable Grill / Air Fryer! #ninja Here’s the Link for Purchase.....ninjakitchen.p... Here's the Code for $30.00 off the base unit,,, HORSMAN30 - $30 off OG701 (base model grill)
I literally scored this today at Kohl's for $212! Used a 40% off coupon then had a mystery savings of $10 they gave to customers...Can't wait to use it
Yes $370 for a bigger pellet grills only. This Ninja was engineered to do multiple functions besides smoke. There is more to life then smoke 😆 We bought this for our RV and this Ninja does everything in one little, light weight unit. Yes we bought the extra flat top for it. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, chops, corn bread, biscuits, steaks, burgers 20 hotdogs, 2 racks of smoked ribs, baked potatoes. It does a lot and won’t empty my propane tank. Easy to clean grill, you can actually put it in the dishwasher and it’s clean. We’ll worth the $$$ for the multi purpose use.
I got one on HSN for $299. So far I am happy with it. I got rid of my broken Weber charcoal grill and replaced it with this. For me it is perfect as I just cook for 3 people, non-picky people. As long as I can smoke some wings OR steaks or tomahawk pork steaks I am good. Mine came with the griddle and the cover. So far everything I have made has been delicious, easy to clean up and quick to make. I do intend to try some longer smoking on it, we will see how that goes. So it is worth it for me.
If you live in an apartment unit like me where only electric grills are permitted, this basically the best option you have. I just bought mine after using the Weber one, and I love it .
Which webber did you have and why did you switch. I am considering the webber as it has larger cooking space and heats up higher for steaks. For pellets I am assuming I can just wrap my own pellets in tin foil and throw them right on the grill.
Had ours about a week. $299 on Amazon. Have cooked burgers twice, NY Steaks, St Louis Ribs and a Tri-tip roast. Everything came out really great. The Tri-tip and the steaks were absolutely delicious. Smoked the Tri-tip to 130 degrees using a bluetooth thermometer. Very easy to use and clean. Well worth the money.
This was a good one Tom! I actually got one of these, my wife got it for me for our anniversary, and I did hamburgers on it and was really impressed with the smoke flavor on them. I’m pretty sure you can use any pellets you want. Hey, another tool in the shed! Looking forward to seeing more cooks on this. Cheers buddy!
Thanks Tom. I'm a purest when it comes to smoking and I prefer wood fuel, however, this grill works great at our townhouse where we can only use electric grills.
Loved mine and got it at Costco will all the extras except a table. Sale price was $239. Its Fantastic. My fav is smoke and grill or smoke and air fry. AF kicks that smoke out like a chimney. lol
Okay here are the Ninja WoodFire grill facts.... :/ From San Antonio Texas BBQ capital. ^_^ Consider that the convection fan will increase the cooking effect. On Grill High is 500 Deg. On Grill Med. is 470 Deg. On Grill Low. is 375 Deg.
Mine is being delivered today. With its incredible diversity, I think it’s well worth the money. It will be perfect for camping and using when RVing. I bought the cart, the cover, and the griddle. It’s perfect for a single person or couple. Not sure it would be for a larger family.
Great video, love the info on the weber tray. I have an Ocean State near me that has the same size tray. Plus, for the pellet part, I bought a giant 20lbs bag and the last two times I have used it, I did chop the long pellet's in half, I was super quick to do. I am planning to create a batch to have for it to be easier because. 20lbs for 19.99$ is better than 12oz for 11.99$. thank you for this video.
Looked at these last year and were 250.00. The 15 amp is power supply was questionable with last year's reviews because of testing with various power sources for off grid usage. ( tailgating, picnics, camping, ) still thinking about getting one, but I better decide before the price goes up again. Thanks for your video .
Thanks for your very informative video. I became interested in this grill seeing it advertised on the TV. But upon discovering that you have o plug the thing in, I have zero interest in it. I'll stick to my mini Weber for camping trips.
These units can be found for less. I recently bought one. Was it worth the price? Sure was, in my estimation. Everything I've asked it to do was done well, from grilling to smoking. And I'm not fooling around with propane, charcoal, or conditioning woodchips for smoking. In 10 minutes I've got this thing fired up and ready. More importantly, I can cook on this thing with minimum intervention while I prepare sides, etc. fully expecting my meal to be done right. When I'm done cleaning it is an easy10 minute job. Investing my own money for one and have no regrets for either the product or the cost. My suggestion for those who may buy the basic unit is to use a thermometer religiously. It cooks in a jiffy.
You can get a pellet grill for that price, however most apartments will not let you have a pellet grill.. Gan you do low and slow, like a brisket on it?
After the first smoke...and you air fry etc., in the house. Does it leave a smoke smell from then on? U know after smoking outside then air fry, bake etc., inside your home. Every time u use it does it smell your home up like a smoke smell from then on?
i happened to see last one at costco marked down to $150 though i dont need it. thinking about returning it but watching videos maybe ill keep it to gift, can you use a cast iron griddle on this?
Hey, I have question how many watts? Because I have use Battery generator. I try figure out is that worth investment for go out woods to use battery generator for Woodfire? (Use for 8 hours or less operation.) Thanks! Other question, is that okay for different pellet from other brand than used only Ninja??? (Big question why can’t use other brand pellet?) (I am apology not good grammar)
On your masterbuilt I seen a RU-vid video and can’t remember who it was and he said the only it would light the pellets and smoke is when it’s on broil mode I think it was I’d love to have one but can’t find one anywhere
This contraption ruined our thanksgiving dinner so we are sending it back as charcoal works every time, VERY DISAPOINTED. Ours would not burn their pellets
It seems to me that the grill feature on high is Way Too Hot. It burns the exterior while the interior is very rare. After taking off the grill and allowed to rest. The temp goes up 20-25 deg. to medium well done. Overcooked. Is it just me?
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ Have you grilled on Medium? I will try using one of the temp-controlled settings instead of the Low, Med, or High. Grill. High is too high. :/
I usually use smoke setting to cook my steaks to an internal temp of 120. Then I pull off, swap to high grill, and hit em with a quick sear. Bout 45 seconds a side. Comes out great.
Sure you can get a pellet smoker for cheaper but consider size, maintenance and cost of pellets. I think the Ninja comes out looking real nice unless you have a real large family. Im about to order one for $222 from kohls with $56 back in Kohls cash. Ninja has never let me down in the past!
You said you were going to answer the question is it really worth 380 and then at the end of the video you said I don't know I'll leave that up to you guys😂

Thanks for Watching Glen! Sorry I’m not home to look at it, I can tell you that it’s the same as Weber great tray for a gas grill…www.amazon.com/gp/slredirect/picassoRedirect.html/ref=pa_sp_mtf_aps_sr_pg1_1?ie=UTF8&adId=A021063225HIZM4T1Q493&qualifier=1671742338&id=4988595994447111&widgetName=sp_mtf&url=%2FUniflasy-Genesis-Traveler-Aluminum-Replacement%2Fdp%2FB09QX5DNWX%2Fref%3Dsr_1_17_sspa%3Fcrid%3D24MFNCQDFKUX4%26keywords%3Dweber%2Bdisposable%2Bdrip%2Bpan%26qid%3D1671742338%26sprefix%3DWeber%2Bdis%252Caps%252C96%26sr%3D8-17-spons%26psc%3D1
Thanks for Watching! It is meant for outdoors,,,, indoor use after you used the the smoke option would blow smoke smell into your house. Not recommended for indoor use
Can you tell me which top best portable pellets for Christmas gift recommend? (Made sure that Pellet grill portable have no catch fire. I hear them some did…. Not sure how. (I am apology not good grammar.)
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ you not aware that other pellet grill have caught fire some other? Please made list recommend that safe and effect portable pellet grills for Christmas gift recommend. Thank you
Good to see you do a review on this one. Do some other videos using the air fryer or maybe smoke some ribs. I thought this thing might be cool to maybe make “fries” to go with something else grilled instead of cooking in and outside the house.
I javelin one and want to use it in my rv too. Was just wandering tho, can you hook it up straight to the trailer/rv without trip or setting everything off?
Hey Tom! I was wondering if this would be on your to do list. I was hot on it for a couple weeks thinking it would be good for making Jerky but using real Wood Chips in it instead of Sawdust pellets........but the urge passed. In my head I've made all BBQ in it thinking I could get a "Smoke Ring". I'll never know........but I'll watch You have fun. 👍 Metal On! \🔥/
