I agree 100% with your age recommendations. My 5 year old daughter started on the mx 350 and I'm getting the 125 for my 3 yr old also the 650 is perfect for moms and dads. I'm 210 lbs 6ft and we have a hilly neighborhood and it hauls me around for 45 min no problem. And it goes 17mph with me on it. We have gas toys for trail riding but these are tons of fun for around the neighborhood. We also have two razor dirt quads and two razor electric scooters. Don't be afraid of the price they are worth every penny.
@@Andrew_and_Jenni it sounds like your doing the same stuff as me. You will really enjoy it and it's a pretty even race with me on the 650 and my 6 yr old on the 350...makes for alot of fun running laps around the house 😁 FYI keep an eye on Amazon for warehouse deals. I saved over 100$ when I ordered my 650 because one of the rear plastics was damaged. Also if mom is not into dirt bikes the razor e300 scooter keeps up no problem, has larger kinematic tires than other e scooters and has similar run times.
@@wademoulton5109 do you lads happen to know if the 650 is available in Australia I would love to get my two boys into riding and away from fortnite but I can’t find the 650 anywhere here and being a single dad it’s my only option of bike as the crf 110 is about 4 grand here but then I saw these and thought they would be an awesome gift from santa haha
I absolutely love our mx125. My son's been riding it for 6 months now and we're about to upgrade to a gas powered bike. It worked great for teaching him how to use the throttle and brake lever. I put an 18v battery on it and it goes pretty quick.
Where’s the actual riding? Would be great to see some fun. Just picked a lightly used MX350 for my son almost 8. Experimenting with some different battery setups for a bit more range like an hour. He’s stoked!
The 350s go just fine in grass, we have 2 350s and a razor "kiki" Vespa and all three hit top speed on our land, although it is flat. I ride along on a Hiboy S2pro stand up scooter. You can however get Chinese gas dirt bikes that seriously outperform these for basically the same money.
i got a 48V lithium VEVOR motor SX500 for my 7yo i cannot imagine him on anything slower now. Anything less gets boring after couple months. My 4yo Loves his overclocked 20V Dewalt MX125. Going to upgrade the MX125 to a 24V motor soon.
I feel much better as a parent I brought my 8 the mx350 I figured the mx125 he would probably laugh at because it's pretty small thinking about getting my 14 year old the mx650 these are very great gifts to have for your little ones thanks razor.
@@Andrew_and_Jenni thanks I'm sure she will. Thats awesome once the trainers are off and they can start leaning in the turns things seem to advance fast lol. Have fun.
What would'ja recommend 4 a 2 yr. old boy who absolutely LUVS motorcycles?? He has been riding a balance bike for 6 - 8 months now, goes as fast as his legs can carry him, goes down hills a hell'n, shows absolutely NO fear whtsoevr, the kid is ALL boy & WANTS a MOTORCYCLE REALLY BAD!!!
The SX350 is the "McGrath" version. All of the tech specs are exactly the same. It's just an extra $40 for the different colored plastics and I think it has McGrath's number instead of a 5
we bought mx350 for my son for curbside pickup at Walmart the description says for 13+ but when we pick up its mx350 but the box says 8+ is this right? and what’s the customize decals means in the description thats included and there’s no extra decals in the box, someone can give me answers☺️tia
@@ubertinoayala7660 here is the idea ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j35bCvc2kIY.html While the boatd may not be the same it should work given that the electronics for both are pretty cole except higher quality boatds on the bike. Both are still made by razor to power very similar electric motors. It should be possible on any type of razor.
Hey can you tell us where you got training wheels. My son just turned 5 around 45 lbs. He has a hard time balancing the mx125. Or can you share training tips for new riders. Thanks in advance
The trouble is theses cheap battery’s just don’t last long term. After replacing both batteries twice I finally upgrade to a 36v lithium battery. You won’t look back and it’s not that $$
Yes go on ebay. I ordered a kit from a scooter place that allows me to limit the speed with the turn of a dial. Just search your model on ebay and you will find it.
Seller was fastscooters. Great customer service if you have any questions just email him and he will show you what you need. I have his kit on a scooter, dirt quad and mx350.
Hey man. I apologize for not being able to see the full review right now, I gotta bounce to work. I'll drop a like and see the full video when I come home. Listen, my son's birthday is soon and I bought him 2 bikes since I couldn't decide(I will return one). He's 5 years old, 23kg and 115cm. One of the bikes is the Razor MX 125 and the other is Injusa Xtreme Blue Fighter 24V. Which should I keep? Thanks a lot.
@@Andrew_and_Jenni QZF ebike battery off Amazon. It's a lithium chemistry so you get better charge time and runtime. They have 24v and 36v options around 10ah.
