Honestly I think this product is for people who love monster trucks more than for people who love rc cars. You will never get as much performance out of this as the lmt but I don’t really think you can compare the 2. I think these cars are for two separate markets of the rc hobby. Both are cool personally the lmt fits me more but the traxxas might fit someone more who is into those old cars. And really you can just add power to it lol
I’m not sure why there is all the hate on this one. I just bought it and it is tons of fun out of the box. I think there are a lot of bandwagon haters who haven’t even looked at it let alone tried one.
It's very much like a hate cult. This is $70 less than a Losi, with more affordable parts that will be around much longer. And Traxxas is the most American rc brand. So it's especially funny seeing Americans hating.
Sorry guys.. Coming from someone who has multiple Traxxas vehicles that I love…this thing is crap when comparing performance to other minis in its class and price range.I won’t be spending money to find out on this one…I can take the tires off my Smasher and put them on my 4m High Trail and have this
I hate to see everybody hate on this! Id love to have one.cant afford it now .i agree its slow they have a high speed gear set for 5.00.im a huge ford fan anyways.since its so hcg,if it ran 100 mph it would be a train wreck to drive .theirs a programmable setting on the esc.
We put high speed gears in it and opened up the esc for the next video. All we got was 6 mph. Plain and simple, it just needs a bigger motor. Believe me, I wish it was better.
@@nocontrolrc8290mofo Big Block will increase speed and the FMS speed motor is even faster! That's if anyone is interested in keeping the ESC stock and just upgrading the motor for more performance. (Cheapest route).
@@ectorvalle4059the stock ecm may cut out at full throttle while steering. With the crawl gears and an injora 180 motor with a decent servo and a little weight they brown out sometimes.
I have no problem with them using this chassis, but they needed to at least include a faster motor, open diffs, and classic chevron tractor tires proper for this era monster truck... (I'll give them a pass on using a short bed even though the original bigfoot is a long bed truck)
I feel like this with the 370 inJora motor and the Meus 13.17 overdrive steel gears and some 53 mm shocks this could be sick . But then you’ve spent $200 trx3mt $16 Meus gears $46 2 sets of 53 mm inJora shocks $39 inJora 370 $304 Still temped because I like my trx4ms but the losi is a much better deal
Honestly, I’m not sure why the lack of speed is such a problem. This is absolutely perfect for my three year old, any more power and then it’s too fast. I have a bunch of faster cars and even on 50% they’re too fast. We’ve tried Walmart trucks, but those suck too because they get stuck on grass.
Check out videos of the original Big Foot, which this was modeled after. It was not a fast truck, it did nowhere near the stunts the new generation monster trucks are doing now. That’s what bashers are for.🤔
We are looking into doing something for the regular subs when we 100k. The people who are signed up to our membership group will be entered into monthly drawings for things Thanks for watching
I put the high speed gears in the transmission and overdrive gears in the diffs in my blue f150 trx4m with injora 70mm mt tires it's a faster than that but still not fast I'm going to try the upgrade max smasher motor
you didnt have to buy one thats bad consumerism you shouldnt buy a bad product just to have it that tells them to make more bad products cause it doesnt matter if the consumer is happy cause they bought it anyways. how people cannot see this is crazy the company is not there to make you happy its there to sell products how you make them make products that make you happy is only buy the products that lead them down the path of making good fun products that make you happy.
@@nocontrolrc8290 i can agree with that. good vids just a view i have i understand your reasoning it just seems like alot of consumers these days buy products and complain but never lead to get the change they want
@@petejones6827not true.. There are companies that will change their products because of customer feedback.. Not long ago redcat had issues with one of their new rc's and literally in less than a month they redesigned the parts people complained about and sent free replacements
@@raquelsroom thats because they got alot of returns and with bad reviews and returns comes loss in sales this is predicted by good companies but you get brands like traxxas that know they have a fan base that buys them no matter what and so they get away with these things they have a bigger market share than redcat so to compete redcat has better service this proves my point perfectly. if consumers dont vote with thier money they dont get things fixed. redcat consumers voiced their opinions with returns and guess what redcat said oh shit we need to fix this now. fms did the same thing not long ago with plastic portal gears. so many people called and returned they had no choice but to jump onto a fix because there is no way they have the cash on hand to return the majority of consumers trucks if traxxas consumers returned the truck after seeing how bad it was i bet within a month there would be a updated release but you wont see that happen. it never happens anymore with big companies its always the little guy who does it to compete.
Traxxas has amazing cars but Losi owns mini monster truck market I love my Trx4m have two and 1 high trail mini and full size trx4ford high trail and Teton totally all amazing never issues but servo once Teton anyways but this is definitely b s a monster truck out crawler come on stop milking out customers lol I'm not stupid enough fall for it because I do the research but I wouldn't want it for 124.99
