As a 40 yr old I haven’t used press-on nails since the 80’s and I’m done spending money at the nail spas. Thanks for this straight forward video. P.s. I too get a dopamine boost from having nails done :)
I haven't tried these, but have tried almost every other brand since covid. (I'm in my 50's and remember those 80's nails, Lee, lol). I also have not tried static. So far, the ones called "The nailest" from Amazon stayed on for 2 weeks, plus. I ended up buying their brush on glue which works great. They are about $16 . The ones I bought are short, almond with a half moon near cuticles and a tiny gold stripe. I get compliments even when buying a coffee from young women/ men at starbucks and all my salon clients. I just ordered a ton of cheap nails from Shein and I hope the nailest glue will work with those. Just received this brand as a gift from Rent the Runway.
Thank you so much!! The extra long length was so cool to rock for a bit, but after filing them down a bit - I loved them even more! I think I'm a candidate for their medium press ons.
Are they considered press-on if they have to be glued? I wasn’t sure, so I didn’t buy. I want a true press-on, that lasts. The glued ones are hard to get off and leave glue behind on my nails (can’t stand dissolving glued ones off).
Thank you for watching! I’m removing them today, very curious myself to see how they come off. Going to be super gentle! Have to preserve the naturals haha 💅🏼
@@AmandaBellaa I've struggled with the removal process and had to resort to soaking them in acetone. Last weekend, I oiled then soaked in soapy water for 30 minutes. Not one nail came off. After soaking in acetone for 3 minutes, I gently scraped them off with no damage to my natural nail. Just lots of oil for 24 hours. Oh, I tried the O & J kit, and it was a "bust" for me.
I usually wear kiss press on nails that are square shape because I have wide nails, I saw these at Walmart and tea want to get then, but I was afraid they may not have a size wide enough to cover my thumb nails. Since these are packed really well, they can’t be returned once opened and I didn’t want to waste my money.
Kiss makes great products - I think Olive & June did a really great job of covering all nail sizes. You can see when I unpacked the bag, there were some great wide options included! May be worth checking out!
The lights lacquer set was definitely a more natural shape, but once I filed the OJ nails down I think I preferred them! I’m definitely going to give both a try again in the future! 💅🏼💗
