We were very excited about staying at the all-inclusive resort Riu Palace Punta Cana, especially because we didn't know what to expect; however, from the moment we set foot in the lobby of this Punta Cana resort, our minds were blown away.

My wife and I are taking our 18-year-old kids with us to Punta Cana this summer. Would you suggest the Grand Palladium Punta Cana or Riu Palace? Looking for a large resort that will keep them entertained and busy. Thank you

Hola! If your main requirement is that the resort has a lot of amenities, then I would suggest the Grand Palladium Punta Cana. However, we liked the Riu Palace Punta Cana better because it's a newer property, but at the same time, it doesn't have as many entertainment options as the Palladium PC. This is a beautiful resort but all the rooms don’t have air conditioning. When we spoke to the front desk they were very rude and disrespectful. Once they got our money they would not turn the air on in our room. It was horrible. The food was horrible the shower didn’t drain. The room was damp and musty. The drinks were watered down. This was totally unacceptable. Would not recommend ever going to this dump.

Hola! The spa is not included in the hotel fare, some resorts like Riu Republica and TRS Cap Cana include the use of hot and water therapy, and a sauna, but Riu Palace Punta Cana doesn't include it 🙂

Hola! We went in June =) January is a great time to visit Punta Cana: no seaweed, weather is great, and the hurricane season has ended in January. Most of Punta Cana visitors are from the US and Canada so you won't have a problem finding english speaking people to make new friends =)

We booked for next June as a family of 4 and I’m nervous about the sleeping situation as they said the Jr. suite was fit for 4 people and in your vid it doesn’t look like it. 😩

Im thinking Royalton, of what I have in other video it has the best beach, but they are in some construction in some areas. Probably I will choose it

Almost every hotel in Punta Cana defines itself as five stars, so we recommend watching these videos so people know exactly what to expect. We would return to the Riu Palace Punta Cana, for what it's worth... 🙂
