This is one good content. It will help you in considering what car to get depending on your preference. So far ako, still wishing to have my own Raize. Ipon-ipon pa. 🙏👌
I just got my Raize a few days ago. It is more than a vehicle that gets me from points A to B... It adds fun to the ride. Admittedly it is a step down from my previous vehicles which were C and D segments, yet this nimble car has just enough accoutrements to make the trips enjoyable. I can't wait to see my month end gas consumption tho, as i will definitely see savings in that area. Thanks to Ryan and his vlogs which made my decision making easier.
Exterior- looks good especially the two tone white and black Below average suspension and NVH Average interior- fit for its price So-so handling Slow acceleration Light steering Fuel efficient High ground clearance For its price, ayos na siya for an entry level. Very good 1st car for beginners. Very easy to park. Recommended for city driving. You get what you pay for.
I actually get the negative comment about the scratchy interior. I too prefer soft touch materials for the interior because it adds premium feel and avoids clacky noise inside the cabin which I appreciate a lot but then again, it's an entry level car. For me, the Raize is good as is. I don't own one but I was able to try sitting on the driver's seat and it's very comfortable even though I'm 6 foot tall.
Thanks Real Ryan for your Toyota Raize review. I’m always watching your reviews. We are in the bank process of getting the Turbo variant white color there in Manila. Please tell us what is the recommended fuel octane for Turbo and/or G or E. How about cabin filter location and climate control a/c air blower directions.etc.
Lots of non-issues raised, you get what you pay for so don't expect too much at the price point you're buying your car (Raize). Also read the user's manual.
Just got my Raize 2 weeks ago. It’s my first brand new car. I actually ordered and waited for a month for the color that I want and so far wala namang problema. Sobrang ganda and perfect for me and my daily use. I was about to get a Vios but luckily Raize was launched so I chose it instead. It’s a much better upgrade from driving our manual suzuki pick up cab for years. By the way, head turner siya because it is not yet common to see a Raize running in our province, kaya I am amazed as well if I see one when I’m driving my own Raize.
Hahahaha sabi ng mga tao not an ownership video. Hope u enjoy owning one. Hehe sana nakatulong tong vid sayo
great video, Question: is their a way to bypass the video while driving? as a safety feature you can only watch videos while on park. I want to bypass it.
Thanks for the review. Am a Raize E-CVT owner and am simply happy with this car... space, features, performance (even on steep climb), fuel efficiency (best mileage 34.8 km/liter distance driving and 14km/liter for city driving with lots of idling).
I used two processes for coming to the gas consumption vs mileage figures. One is the Toyota company process of resetting the trip mileage on the second full tank fill up then reading the figures on the car display. The second is the manual compute of trip mileage vs auto tank fill up on same gas station. Figures are closely aligned which is why the mileage gas consumption I posted above is consistent.
Hi RealRyan! Nice reviews by the way! Watched all your Raize reviews. Got mine just last week. However, i had it installed with an Orsen engine cover just this morning. Same reaction when i saw the engine bay and looking down, kita na agad yung sahig. Also saw 1 sensor hanging in the bottom of the engine, thinking na baka madamage if it has no protection. Should i remove it? Or no issue naman if i leave it there since "investment" na din naman. TIA sir!
Im not making sides to 4sa tokyo but for me im used to the 2button remote instead of just 1button remote he has a point other than touching the Door panel you also want to use the remote when locking the car.
that’s the honest review of the honest guy!!! 👍 up ako dito kay real ryan …actually, there’s a lot of negative comments on all vehicles, however, loving your car is one of the most precious things you can do because your car is your life, it depends on how you use to managed it… an honest review is not all about on negative sides but to consider the positive sides as well!!! Cars are still did by human and it is all subject to error like human…nobody’s perfect ika nga!!! hehe… sana nakatulong lalo na sa mga nag iisip bumili ng new cars😊
I daily drive a 1971 restored superbeetle in Tacliban City and Leyte area. It has a customized aircon. The car is very basic, mechanical, no computers, and a very reliable daily drive. For me the most important thing in a car is reliabilty. A car that will bring you from point A to point B day in and day out with basic maintenance. For a humid country like the Philippines the aircon is the most important thing. Other features are just amenities and add ons which you often don't need and can live without. When I drive I turn off the radio and focus on the road. Just sharing my thoughts.
The honest review we actually needed. Thanks for this, Ryan. Despite all the negative things I've read on the Raize page on FB, this video makes me feel assured that I made a good decision getting a Raize. Some people would post without research or (let's be honest) for attention but yours have actual content. I look forward to more Raize-related videos. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’m living in Japan im working related car Toyota and Daihatsu for 11 years Very well said sir 👏👏👏 Ang car depende din kase sa klima ng bansa Maganda ang size nila kc SUV type na pinaliit or kinompak good for women n gusto gumamit ng SUV 🚙 Salamat po sir 👍👍👍
Sir Ryan or anyone here notice the buzzing sound on the engine of any Raize variant, when it turn on/ACC and engine is off? Anyone knows what part of the engine making the sound/noise?
Just wanted to say your videos has helped a lot. I truly appreciate the effort and time you put into these vids to educate us noobs. Question for the raize, wise ba na e keep ang stock na wheels/goma and upgrade the mags? If yes what would be the perfect 6x16 mags for fuel efficiency and style?
Just bought Raize (G variant) today and it's my first time to own a car in general. Maybe after 3 months meron na rin akong honest review dahil so far, I have no idea of what's lacking or needs to be improved. Haha!! Good content btw!
Kala ko honest review ng toyota raize. Reaction video pala haha. I wish you can walk us tru sa experiences mo like fuel consumption, Okay ba yung power etc. Thanks!
IMHO the gauge is useful.
Got my Raize today. E CVT. I am very happy with it. I saw that review and I had the same concern. Some of the things he brought up is not even something you would do in a car. He was not honest, he was just a hater.
Your vids about Raize helped me in buying one. The Asia release full option is way better than here in Middle East (KSA in particular). Anyway, I have one concern though. I am a first-time vehicle owner and have little knowledge whatsoever. But I feel 1.0 Turbo CVT consumes a lot of fuel. My full tank lasts only a week. Compared to Nissan Kicks (my friend owns one), it looks like Raize is not fuel-efficient. Do u feel the same? Maybe I’m comparing two dissimilar vehicles. Just my observation.
kicks is technically an EV with a gasoline powered generator onboard, they are not the same since raize is a turbo powered gas engine car, lamang for sure ang Kicks. but in 5 year time, if not maintained properly battery ng Kicks, not sure if it will kick your wallet, Raize since it's normal turbo powered engine, expect usual upkeep cost.
hello sir Ryan! okay po ba Raize in places like Baguio and Tagaytay? hindi po ba mahihirapan umakyat if ever? torn between choosing Raize or Geely Coolray
I love the Raize. Saw a white one earlier in San Juan. Really modern styled and a very good looking car. Perfect body size and engine for Metro Manilas daily horrendous traffic. Again, Kudos to you Ryan for this awesome spot on review! Keep the content coming.
Thank you for this Sir Ryan! Compared sa ibang cars ng Toyota and other brands, ang fuel consumption ng Raize ng city driving ay macoconsider as one of the most fuel efficient? Thank you!
Yes. Raize is super fuel efficient. I own and drive my Raize CVT-E and the best mileage I have for distance driving is 34.8kms/ liter and for short distance/ city driving with lots of idling is ~14kms/liter. Very happy with my car and it's performance even on steep drive.
And overall performance? Sensya na po kase nasa list ko na po ang raze para bilhin.. most of my byahe is malayuan and City to Province madalas.. gusto ko sana malaman kung sulit ba to for that situation bago ako mag decide.. Thanks in Advance..
Hi I’m from Iran, You guys speak English and Philippines in videos which is new to me, never saw that in any other country. Geeky GX3 pro has come to Iran recently which is a competitor to Chery Tigo2 here. What is your opinion on this model of Geely? Is it a good car?
All I heard from your videos are excuses for the car features. You even brought another content creator vid just to criticize the person and not his points. Just one example, there's a cover on the back of the vehicle the he said was flimsy. Sure it's not flimsy but his point is it was unnecessary. You assumed his height without proof and discredited his comment on the internal space based on assumption.
Tapos accdg to u non sense yun board to make the rear flat? Wahahaha don't me.
@@Brian-fj5gz pin ko tong comment mo a. Wahahahahaha nope. Not explaining it to you.
3:00 what I learned in school is that hot air goes up, not down. So the temperature of your engine will not vary with or without an engine under cover. The purpose of the under cover is to protect your engine and other connected parts from water splash, debris, rocks or other hazardous materials. Therefore, it's a cost-cutting measure from Toyota.
@@ricoswabe18 😆 😆 😆 G na G a. Wow based on experience...
Android auto works fine though.
Very amazing video kuya REAL RYAN! IMHO, kahit mababa yung PS count ng Raize 1.0 Turbo, maganda parin sa akin yung design at yung features ng Raize (atleast here in the PH). And also they should also introduce a 1.2 G M/T variant too for the PH-market. 😎👍🚗
Sir Ryan - I'm looking for the best undercoating anti rust for cars - pa review nmn nito. Madami narin akong nabasa anong mga cons and pros depende sa brand pero until now d pa ako sure. Peace.
I've notice this kuya sa Toyota na they don't put engine temperature gauges on low displacement engines like Wigo, Avanza, Vios, Raize, Rush. probably because Toyota is confident that it well less likely to be overheated, it's simply because it is a Toyota? Maybe? Pero it would be better if meron talaga to monitor your engine temperature especially on long drives and uphills especially small engines lng sila. Personally speaking, It builds up more confidence and less worry if they put temperature gauges on those aforementioned models. Pero as of now, I've never seen any toyota models without temperateure gauges overheated kahit pa yung mga old models ng Vios, Avanzas and others na small engine displacements lang. Oh! Btw, I love this kind of review, it is indeed informative and this is really based on a long term (somehow) expeience. Okay na yung 3 mos, at least.
Sorry Boss but I have to disagree regarding the temperature gauge requirement. As an Instrument Engineer, monitoring all parameters is very important as a precautionary measure not to damage the equipment specially in the long run. Kung di parehas ang temperature gauge sa actual engine temperature means either it requires calibration or defective ang gauge and needs replacement. Gaya ng tao, you need to check the vital signs of your vehicle for monitoring and not for corrective action purposes.
Nauso yan. Walang temp gauge latest models sa low to mid range models.
@@dulber How many times? Everytime I use the vehicle. Why I do It? I use the gauge as one of my basis and trends the engine performance in different situations specially during heavy traffic and climbing. Like I said before, mamomonitor mo sasakyan mo at di ka na lang mabibigla bakit uminit makina mo, mas maalagaan mo sasakyan mo.
Now ko lang napansin tong comment mo. Kahit hindi ka naman instrument engineer, maganda naman talaga ma monitor ang mga bagay bagay, but to what extent? "kung di parehas ang temp gauge sa actual engine temp means it require calibration or replacement" How do u know your gauge is reading it right to begin with?
I own the Raize Toyota GR and for what you pay it is a good car one cannot expect luxury interior material and frankly I would not pay for it. More important are the technical features and reliability.
I just bought my raize 3 days ago, is there a way that the sound of tires and rubbers could be lessen? thank you to those who will comment for me to do adjustment if possible
It would be really hard to accept its downsides/negative after all you purchased it yourself but for new buyers out there if your budget is in this range (1M+), consider test driving the: ford territory - sunroof, very good engine output, modern tech/looks coolray - sunroof, very very good engine output, modern tech/looks, road presence raize - toyota, like the aggressive look on front, side/rear profile looks weird and out of proportion these cars were on my list prior to buying but I ended up buying a pickup instead since I don't wanna mess around putting up bike racks, I considered these cars since I thought I can quick release front tires of my bike and put them in the trunk (but space is inadequate)
Yes... Remember a time when the Ford expedition was a common sight around manila... Fortuner or expedition... Liit fortuner diba... Not real leather... Ford looks better... Premium... Pretty sure those leather seats are still cool wherever they are
You’re the equivalent of a “karen” The fact that you’re going after anyone who thinks othherwise about the raize is just childish at this point. “Review” smfh. 😂😂
Lol. I guess I can tag you as "bob" 😆😆😆 *Hindi dahil nag english ka tama ka na.* sino ba nag rereklamo? Btw! Karen is a pejorative term for a white woman perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is normal.
@@officialrealryan The fact that you laughed at your own joke… You’re as corny as your gimmicks and video edits. 🤦♂️💀 Imagine feeling good about yourself when you copy and pasted the terminology from wikipedia as a weak attempt to try to enlighten me when i fully know what it means. “Karen/kevin”, regardless of the male/female counterparts, are terms for ENTITLED people like you. So yeah, you’re so far up your own vss to the point that you feel so entitled to your own opinion and call anyone out who has different views at a certain thing. So what if they hate the raize? You can’t blame them just because they feel that way about the car. You seem so butthurt just because they think otherwise. You, roasting other people who give negative reviews about the raize doesn’t make you any better than them. It’s a good thing that you’re showing your “real” colors out here on youtube. How ironic. 😂🍿 I definitely feel that you’re insecure kapag ine-english ka. Bat ka nag rereklamo? Wala naman nagsasabi na tama ah? There is no such thing as a right/wrong opinion. Your opinion does not matter even if you feel like you’re right or entitled, english/tagalog, or even if you have fans that support your opinion. Iba iba ang tao so go cry about it. Di porket nag copy and paste ka ng definition ng terminology from google, nauunawaan mo na kaagad kung ano ibig sabihin nun. 😂😂
Hahaha napa subscribe ako ha. I like watching car reviews and I love small cars. I've been to Japan and small kei cars are all over. I wish we'd have kei cars here but I like their trains better.

Bias reviews. Ok lng walang engine cover at temp gauge? Hahaha.
Haha
Hi, very helpful content. I'm wondering what is the Up and down side of owning a car with Piano black interior trim? Wish you'll included this on one of your vlogs soon.
@@officialrealryan sobrang totoo to. I absolutely hate Piano black specially in places where you need to touch or put things there. Even a microfiber cloth with a bit of dust can scratch that easily...
Your videos are great! Very informative,non-biased.not too many technical terms which is good for a lady driver like me.... Will soon buy a Raize! Yey!!! Ty Ryan!
Always waiting for your videos regarding Raize.. Hindi ko priority ang car pero nung nakita ko si Raize I felt something in it and gusto ko magkaroon talaga ng sariling car and si Raize un. :)
Agree with you. Most of the time, purchasing a car is based on emotions more than rational reasoning. Ganda naman talaga ng Raize. Eye catching. I bought a car recently because i so love how it looks even if it has so many bad reviews in North America. But everytime i look at it and drive it, it makes me feel really good…cant stop staring at it.
galeng. galeng ng review real ryan :) , kudos to and to your raize . been thinking of getting one for my wfe and this video will help. thanks again. :)
I like your comment on the engine cover. Enlighting 👍 Regarding overheating, usually ang problem is yung fan. After 4-5 years need na palitan kaysa abutin ka pa nga aberya. I was also hoping since this car was ment for tropical countries, lagyan sana nila ng insulator yung loob before the upholstery para di masyadong uminit sa loob.
I forgot to mention. Nasa infotainment yun temp pala. Hahaha yun insulation na parang silver na papel? D ko tanda e. D nga ni rerecommend yun. Parang engine undercover lang. Haha
Thank you for your videos sir!! Currently we're debating if ano ba maganda pang matagalan and over all performance and gas consumption. In your opinion sir, what's better Hyundai Kona or Toyota Raize?
Correct me if my wrong. Ang cover sa ilalim ang tawag jan engine splash guard. putting the most important parts of your vehicle at risk-road debris such as rocks, leaves, and twigs can get inside the engine compartment and cause damage.
