Or "INTEROCEPTION: This system processes ‘sensations related to physiological/physical state of the body’ and help us understand what our internal organs are feeling" - so the pitch for the horror movie is something messing with it and you are in a living hell. With Dr House like montages of internal organs failings in various ways - i.e. how protagonists feels like something malfunctioning inside him. Allows exploration of increasingly disturbing phobias of various deceases and may be even a bit of torture porn.

My favourite John Malkovich performance is as Lenny in “Of Mice and Men”, because he is playing completely against type. However, I’m not sure if that qualifies it as ‘whole malk’. Almond malk?

I believe the “string” is chalk line. It is literally string that is in a devise you can wind the string back up in. People in construction use it to put lines on the ground to set forms etc. it has to be taut so when you hold it to the ground then snap the sting unto the ground it leaves a chalk line, get it!

Fun fact: I grew up 10 miles from “Whole Malk” and we played them in football. Their team name is the Benton Rangers. In the movie, “In the Line of Fire”, they have a picture of his character in his high school football jersey and his last name is Granger. I have always wondered if they just took the opportunity to alter the football jersey because the character’s name was already Granger or did they give the character the last name Granger because they could use a real picture of John M. in his high school football experience?

As for the eyes, I think they made it so their eyes are fucked if they're under control at the moment by the monsters, but that their control can come and go. It's cheap, but according to the movie, their control can be deactivated and reactivated remotely.

Bird box was just okay. I kind of agree with these guys. I really wanted to like it but it was just a bit disappointing. I feel like a lot of the Netflix movies that I have seen are like that. Bird Box, Bright, Polar, Close... I was interested but I don’t feel like they were able to knock them out of the park. Like They are just luring you in and under delivering.

I'm one of the few people who really loved this movie. Was it as good as A Quiet Place? No. Definitely not. But I liked it in its own way. Maybe it's just my love for post-apocalyptic stuff and really digging the mystery of the monster. Regardless, I loved the HT and thought it was hilarious.

Having only seen Bird Box & The Happening in Honest Trailer form these movies seem remarkably similar. Other than the actors I feel like you could cut them together & not know the difference. I'd give The Happening bonus points for being accidentally funny though. Is the motivation of the Bird Box monsters ever discovered? Do they eat people or are they worried we'll hunt them? Seems like a 'monsters do monster things' situation. At least in The Happening the trees were angry about climate change. We're close enough to Feb2 that I'm guessing Groudhog Day next week.
