The lyrics are extremely clever, the harmony is chilling, the instrumental background is fantastic, and the visuals are stunning. Why everyone hates on this wonderful song, I will never know.
This is hilarious! When disaster strikes, watch Anna save the day by teaming up with: her sister, a merchant. a hot guy and a snowman to defeat villains like: her sister, a merchant, a hot guy and a snowman.
I didn't get that. Then of course I have never eaten pork in my entire life or no half of the adult words and phrases every five year old throws like candy. which doesn't tast good
It's a bit of a fixer-upper, but that's a minor thing No but seriously, I prefer Tangled. Both have their issues, but I just enjoy Tangled's... everything more
"The feature-length music video for Let It Go." That....that really sums up this movie surprisingly well...it's a vessel for a song so big that it has interludes for other songs.
instead of the yolo song they should have called it "the song you'll never be able to get out of your head even if someone pointed a gun to your head and told you to forget about it"
Narrator: when disaster strikes, watch Anna save the day by teaming up with her sister, a merchant, a hot guy, and a snowman to defeat villains like her sister, a merchant, a hot guy, and a snowman 😂😂😂
It was being sarcastic and poking fun at the fans who believe it because its been done multiple times before in Disney. The jokes about the musicals and Lion King is how many people act like there are no good Disney songs or musicals after Lion King.
@@khaleddjijli7820 so at an award show John Travolta was supposed to introduce Idina Menzel before her performance and he accidentally said "The Wickedly talented, Adele Dazeem". He said Wickedly which was cool because Idina was the lead character in the musical Wicked, but he pronounced her name wrong, he read it according to something called the phonetic spelling. So it became a thing and people call Idina Adele Dazeem sometimes.
,,When disaster strikes, watch Anna save the day by teaming up with... Her Sister, A Merchant, A Hot Guy! And A Snowman... To defeat villains like: Her sister, A Merchant, A Hot Guy! And a Snowman!"
Frozen is just overplayed. It is beautiful and was a great movie when I first watched it, its just been played so many times that we'll need a couple more disney princess movies to watch it again.
"Watch Anna save the day by teaming up with, Her sister, a merchant, a hot guy and a snow man! To defeat villains like, Her sister, a merchant, a hot guy and a snow man! I love this! its soo true aha
Elsa bringing snowmen to life does seem confusing, but if you think about it, Olaf and Marshmallow are really meant to be metaphorical. Olaf is friendly, playful and dreams about summer, he represents Elsa's desire to return to the old days of childhood and warmth with her sister as her best friend ("do you want to build a snowman?"). Marshmallow on the other hand is wild, angry and cold, he represents Elsa's fear of her powers and her desire to be left alone. So kids (and many adults) can just sing their lungs out and buy the merchandise, but this movie also holds other levels of interpretation for those who want more...
+Brick Top There are deeper levels of interpretations and that was the reason why I got stuck with the movie. But, you know, the more you think about it, the clearer it gets that there is no closed interpretation or closed "story behind the story" if you know what I mean. It's like Disney just throws some hints for deeper levels of interpretations in a few scenes without throwing enough to create a real metaphorical meaning of the whole story. I hope you all understood what I mean. It's really hard to 1) put my thoughts into sentences and 2) put my thoughts into sentences of a foreign language.
right!? ok byt honestly and weirdly enough this comment made mu burst out laughing . . . im not sure it was more that im easily amused or that it was just funny but i'll go with both
Attention Frozen Haters, after months, I have not seen a single legitimate reason why the movie was awful, I've seen plenty for not liking it, but awful? not a single, one, and just to let you know "Frozen was Utter Garbage" is not an argument
The ending was too rushed, Elsa was a whiney ass bitch, none of the characters are funny, the songs are stupid, the make men sound like assholes(feminist movie, my ass) and many more reasons. Tangled was such a better Disney princess movie.
Tangled was better. "Frozen is the first movie to teach girls they dont need a man!!" Mulan? Brave? Really?! Its not. I dont understand all the hype with this movie.
I don't understand the need of "I don't need a man" in fairy tales movies, in the occidental society of XXIth century... Even cartoons girls "with a man" was strong, and their fans like me adore pro-active characters, but not in the biased way from Frozen.
The thing with disney films is that the protagonist is always the weaker of the love interests. You see it aladin and... Ahit, whats another movie with a male protagonist.
Agreed, Tangled has a tighter plot - things tie together, they are not there just because; Frozen never explains Elsa's power (maybe they were trying to keep it secret and do a backstory kind of thing in their sequel or prequel... then goodjob), Olaf has one of the few good songs in the movie but he doesn't really do anything, Hans reveals his plan too abruptly and in a rather clichéd villain manner (telling their victim their plan when they don't have to and enjoying it) because the producers couldn't think of a better cooler clear-yet-subtle way to let him do so Tangled has way better songs and Frozen isn't even half as funny as Tangled so i don't get the hype As for design i'd say they are in about the same league, maybe Tangled's slightly better though Sorry this is not a thorough analysis, don't mean to do one anyway, i just want to point out some obvious things i picked up. Anyway on the whole, Frozen feels like a few cool but incomplete concepts smashed together with some commercial pop songs that get stuck in your brain thrown in
***** FINALLY! Someone who agrees that Frozen's plot has so many holes! Exactly how does Elsa have her powers? Yeah yeah, we know she's supposed to be the Snow Queen, but there's no mention of it at all. I didn't and still don't understand why Frozen is so popular.
hanatwothree Annndd....in the 'Let it go'song Elsa says 'the cold never bothered me anyways' But in the second Frozen movie,Frozen Fever,(which has yet to come out)the trailer video's(or at least most of them)description says Elsa caught a cold. The movie's nice,it's okay, but can someone explain this? Thank you!😊
Frozen was okay but quite overrated I think. I thought Tangled was better. Am I the only one who thought this? What exactly was so great about it? (Not trolling I just didn't think it was anything special after all the hype).
Frozen is quite overrated, it was good, I agree with that, but not perfect, but it has die-hard fans. "In my opinion, your opinion is shit!" is what they say when you dislike frozen, seriously, go to the comments of "Let it go".
You aren't alone. Tangled was much better, IMO. The thing that probably made me hate this movie the most is that my ex-roommate and ex-boyfriend were obsessed with it and either sang Let it Go all the fucking time or made me watch parody videos of Let it Go.
Cat196 It's a joke. I saw in a commercial once while this was still in theaters that a review said, "It's the best animated movie since The Lion King!" I sat there on the couch and went, "No, it's not." Hahaha. I was right. Idiots.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Adele Dazeem” I am dead over the reference. I’m also 1000000 years late watching this, but because of the Travolta reference I don’t even caaaaare 🤣🤣🤣
0:19 "It's been 3 years since the last Disney musical! And 18 years since the last *good* Disney musical!" WOAHWOAHWOAHWOAH.... NO. TANGLED WAS *QUALITY.*
Actually, all Disney musicals are horrid. None was as bad as the (non-Disney) Anastasia, though, that one was like constant, non-stop singing. The only thing I find more irritating than Disney musicals are these annoying girls who can't stfu singing Disney musical songs.
2:09 I never realized how For The First Time in Forever really does sound like a song from Wicked.. Also I DIED when Elsa was casted as "The Wickedly Talented Adele Dazeem." -which most fans of Idina Menzel should- -get.-
It's not the fact that Frozen was 'awful' but because of all the hype it got I expected a lot more but when I watched it I was like "eh that was okay I guess". Then people started saying it's better than Lion King and it's the 'best disney movie ever' and it became so overrated that people started disliking it. The movie in itself was average at best
Nothing will ever be better than the Lion King. I like the old Disney Movies. Maybe because I was a child when I watched them first ;) Frozen is ok, but yeah - overrated.
I personally have no problems with Frozen. And also there are similiarities between Frozen and the Lion King, they a re not the same. Personally, everybody shood have his favorite Disney movie, don't matter which one it is, right? I personally love the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast, maybe because I grew up with them. But which one is the better movie everybody needs to know on his own. Although The Lion King got Oscars. And is the most watched Disney film. No offense.
***** Elsa knew that all people and her sister were going to die..... and she just say "fuck it, i am comfortalbe here" is a perspective deal, the characters are weak, like, REALLY WEAK, and for a lot of people, its all about the characters, if you are not one of them enjoy, if you are, then this movie hurts, i just finish wayching it because it was close to be over.
People on twitter keep saying they love frozen so much because it's the only disney movie that "shows you don't need a man to save you". Have they seriously never ever heard of Mulan?!
Or..Brave. When you look at most of them actually, although 'love' is something they find in the end - it's not what they were looking for and the messages aren't about needing someone to save you or to make you feel complete- The Little Mermaid wanted to live in the human world before she saw her prince, Belle wanted to go on adventures and Jasmine escaped because she didn't want to get married - ah
Travolta has dyslexia. He also credits the Church of Scientology with "curing" his dyslexia. I wouldn't make fun of someone who may still have a learning disability.
I actually really liked Frozen... but looking at these comments it looks like I'm one of few on this channel. I thought the plot was great since I could never guess what would happen next, it had a convincing villain, and the characters seemed like real people, which was probably my favorite part. Little things they would do like when Anna was saying things like "okay, i can do this! I was born to do this" when she was gonna jump off the cliff just made it seem realistic. Also, I enjoyed the conversations Anna and Christof (however you spell it) had, since it showed some developement between the characters, rather than "Okay lets fall in love". Maybe its just me, I don't know.
I did really like Frozen but I totally saw the betrayal of Hans coming. It didn't ruin the film for me though, I guess I'm too tv tropes savvy. I have to admit the announcer on here is right about the show being so popular because of the soundtrack, though.
EclipseHedgehog Or you could just ignore them? Possibly let people who are enjoying something continue being happy instead of wanting to spoil their fun? Shocking concept, I know, but you might try it sometime.
I think a majority of people hate Frozen just to hate it. That's what happens with everythi by that gets popular, whether it deserved the fame or not. I liked Frozen. It isn't my favorite movie, but it had a better message than "true romantic love happens in a five second meeting".
I hated frozen because the characters irritated And partially because when they announced its creation they said it would be an adaptation of the snow queen and I was super hyped And then it came out and it was... Well frozen... They replaced all the good bits from the snow queen with crap The snow queen was all about a girl trying to save her best friend, with the help of other girls along the way, but they replaced all the awesome female characters with an ice cold b***h, a dork, a sociopathic prince, and a hobo
+Steel “Gracedragon” Rose I loved the Snow Queen as a child. I wish they had stayed with that story, but I'm fine with the one given. I can see what you mean about the characters, though
+KanaHyoshi Typical pathetic fangirl. You can't handle the fact that not everyone likes Frozen just because you do so you accuse them of only hating it just to hate it which isn't the case. People hate it because it's shit. And something being popular doesn't make it good. It just means a lot of people like it. And it only became popular because of the stupid Let It Go song. And Frozen definitely didn't deserve its fame.
+Xehanort10 Actually, very few dislike it. You're part of a super minority that just happens to be very vocal. Frozen has an 89% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes, an 86% audience rating, and an A+ on Cinemascore. It didn't get that from a single song. It got that from amazing characterization and incredible storytelling.
+KanaHyoshi Popularity does not necessarily equal a quality product. Twilight, the Left Behind series, and 50 shades of Grey are not masterpieces of literary genius just because they made the bestseller list. Likewise, Frozen being popular doesn't erase its lazy writing, poor character and world building, mostly pointless, bland songs, and having next to nothing to do with the fairy tale that supposedly inspired it...
Frozen: - Great animation. - Beautiful designs. - The common "Oh no I killed my sister. I can't do anything without her. What will I do now," Kind of personality. - Elsa complained like a whiny bitch. - Plot was weak, (Disney didn't explain to the audience on how she got her powers.) - Way too overrated. - Annoying songs. - Useless characters just to make little kids laugh at. **Cough** Olaf **Cough* - Disney didn't even _try._ - The movie is a _year_ old now, and people are still psycho about the movie. - No reason to make, only to get money and sell merchandise to fans. - Ripped off Lion King. - Gained too many attention, yet it was still a shit movie. - Ending was rushed. - Elsa was a little selfish in the movie. - Anna acted like a dumbass in the movie. (Like, "Elsa... It wasn't your fault..." and all that shit.) - Olaf wasn't funny, and yet he still got a song in the movie. - The villian in the movie (Forgot his name,) didn't really act like a true villian. (Used betrayal instead of ruling the world of capturing the princess/queen in most Disney movies.) - "Let It Go," was a shit song, actually, all of the songs in Frozen were shit. - Let It Go is getting too much attention from little kids. - In every store I look there is an isle specifically made for Frozen, (Frozen dresses, Frozen wigs, and other useless shit.) Sum the movie all up: "This is a really shit movie. I think it deserves no attention and Elsa and Anna deserve to rot in hell. I hope Elsa gets melted in the sun and fucking learns a lesson. Ooooh, a princess with ice powers! Who gives a fuck! The only reason why it got popular was because of the shitty songs and that a princess in the movie had powers. Makes no sense at all."
MULTIAPPLECATZ RULE! I'm ashamed that you have Rarity as an avatar. Really, your post is just pure trolling, created to throw a handful of hate in this section. Talking about love, tolerance and other mlp stuff. And most of you argument's aren't argument at all, just hatred. WHY
sunderland666 Remember Rainbow Rocks: HuMane 7 never, NEVER, *NEVER* _Let it Go_. _Let it Go_ is an act of treason against Disney Princess values. You're a Queen, Elsa, you must play your part!
I wouldn't consider Frozen a bad movie... but it isn't a (very) good one either... it was ok nothing more nothing less. Personally I hated the songs and was annoyed by the characters... I thought Tangled was better (not much better if you ask me but it was way more entertaining for me) but that's just my opinion. Everything that I have seen in this movie has already been done (and better) by someone else (and by other (Disney)movies). And don't create a villain just for the sake of creating a villain... I don't understand the hype and I don't want to... you can like it, I won't like it and I don't care if you talk about it (as long as you don't talk to me, I'm done with this movie)... no harm done... and have a nice day (whether you like Frozen or not). PS I like FNaF and other people don't, I understand that, I respect that and you can hate me for it (just like you do it with Frozen and MLP fans) but that won't stop me from liking it. (and it shouldn't stop you either!) Free opinions for everyone!!! (sorry for that...)
I could say a thousand things about how sick and wrong that is but in the end, there is little i can do to make you see the light. Until you do, i shall grieve for your lost souls.
So after failing to conquer Arendelle, Hans instead gathered what few followers he had left and set sail for L.A. aboard the Pacific Courier. There he plotted and set in motion an elaborate heist of Nakatomi plaza.
EDF Ranger YES! A lot of people think he will return in the sequel to redeem himself. If he does, i hope it won't be in the sequel. What happened in Arendelle was just a bad episode in his life, like someone having a drug addiction. His own movie should focus on his backstory and him moving on from his bad life and growing into a better person. No matter how far past the line you've crossed, if you really want to, it's never too late to turn back.
