Fun fact: Many of the "Harvard" scenes where he's wandering around were filmed at Johns Hopkins University because Harvard no longer allows movies to be filmed on their campus

Jernah Blunt : Nah dude. Didn’t you hear the sound the laptops were making when Eduardo was smashing them? They were just cheap metallic cases. The sound effect a a real laptop getting smashed was added n later.

The Social Network proves that you can make a theoretically dull premise into one of the most gripping, intense and amazing screenplays, David Fincher killed it with The Social Network, that signature steely colour pallete, CGI effects so realistic, you wouldn't even realize the number of CG effects Fincher uses in his movies, the filtering, everything about Fincher is so unique and cool! Credit to Sorkin too! He's an amazing screenwriter! Still pains me to know TSN lost to The King's Speech.

This movie is legendary. You just sit back at the end with a feeling of the darkness of Mark Zuckerberg. But it is kind of a realistic darkness. You kind of get why he disagrees with Eduardo, but the sheer evilness of how he treats him and the persons around him. It is so realistic and just so brutal.

I think that it would have been better if Jesse Eisenberg had played a character similar to his character from The Social Network in the Batman vs. Superman movie. Even though it would not have exactly captured Lex Luthor, it would have been better than the angle they went with.

The nightclub scene with the loud music was actually really good in DTS-MA on a quality setup and mixed really well. The film was nominated for an Oscar for sound mixing. Watching it streamed in low bitrate on Netflix to a pair of crappy TV speakers..... yeah doesn't work well.

I also read it, it's crazy how entertaining and howmuch exposition and character you get out of just the first scene alone , although it was a big one , I think like 190 pages. The first scene is iconic

Yeah I feel like this movie is like that McDonald's movie... I forgot the name. Like, movies which the lead character is just a HUUUUGE dick, like, humongous, so big that got banned from pornhub for being too much nsfw. And somehow the writer and the director made such a good job that keeps you engaged to the story without letting you forget how much of a dick they are. I know nothing about screen writing but I believe it must take some serious skill and work to make it work that way.
