I like how the end of Transformers 4 was all about Optimus Prime regaining his faith in humanity... and in this movie he gets turned evil within the first five minutes, and then disappears for two hours, then fights Bumblebee for five minutes, then turns good again, then disappears for 30 minutes, then comes back to say "I AM OPTIMUS PRIME!!!" multiple times.

its easy to write 14 movies when they all essentially have the same plotline. Autobots try to stop Decepticons from finding special maguffin #5 and destroy/conquer the world. the video games had more compelling plotlines, even the commodore 64 ones.

About the Transformers movies, we can hate them as much as we want, but they always reach the hundred millions visits in less than a weekend after they are released, so... the numbers speak for themselves. My hope isn't that there isn't another Transformers. It's that they get a new team and director behind them. They should probably just reboot the franchise and start fresh. Or make some serious changes with the 6th, The Last Knight was terrible.

Not gonna lie the Resident Evil movie series might just be the worst video game movies of all time, at least the sequels. They constantly retcon prior elements with no reason, introduce stuff from the recent games despite them either having no reason or being straight up illogical like the zombies using the mouth tentacle thing like in RE5 despite it belonging to the plagas virus and not the T-Virus and having the executioner again from Resident Evil 5 despite the fact that he's infected with T-Virus and not plagas and shouldn't be capable of thinking.

what's impressive about the movie is that they probably cut explosion-budget to cast Antony Hopkins to save the movie, and they still made a classic Transformers movie... I mean wow, won't you call it quits???
