Emma, my sister is 28. I’m 22. We were never close when we were younger. But as we got older, now we’re closer than ever. It’ll happen! You guys seems to be getting closer anyway. You’re her big sister, her inspiration (besides heather ofc☺️💕) , so for stuff she can’t go to mom about, she’ll go to you!

Emma is literally so strong, we’re the same age so I definitely know how she feels. I’ve always had problems with almost every friend group I’ve had. But it isn’t necessarily my fault, things just don’t workout and that’s okay. Also I am a very introverted person, I’m just so shy and I definitely understand her, I feel like if I was not shy or introverted I could’ve done so many more things. I just wish I wasn’t as shy. Emma you’re so beautiful, and just know that you’re not doing anything wrong, things just happen for a reason. Just be happy and do you, you have a very bright future ahead of you:))

The sibling bonding is so important, I'm super close with all my siblings! I'm 22 and my youngest siblings are 13 and 11 and I can say they're like my best friends, obviously it's not all sunshine and rainbows but with them I can definitely be my truest self and getting to be a role model and best friend is something that I can never experience with someone my age or older. I love my actual friends but a sibling relationship is something you can't compare.

I can relate to you Emma, I struggle with social anxiety and being shy. It’s hard for me to make friends a lot of times so I always try to find that outgoing person to make me feel comfortable. But I think the first step is just accepting it and accepting that this is who you are and no one can change you. It’s good to have extroverts and introverts in this world, it helps balance it out. If everyone was an extrovert this world would be crazy lol

Emma that is so normal to feel like your not close with your siblings. I’m like that with my brother at the moment we don’t really get along and don’t have much in common. But with my sister I’m so close with her now when we were growing up we didn’t get along and we are totally opposite personalities but we notice how much we need each other and now we talk all the time. So Emma don’t be annoyed at yourself it’s all part of a siblings relationship

Ms. Ellie’s innocence is so refreshing. In 43 and hearing her regrets makes me realize what’s really important. Not that I didn’t have reactions to everyone else’s. I fight with those regrets everyday.

Emma, once Ellie starts getting older she will go through the same stuff your going through and will be more mature so i wouldn’t worry too much. I have 4 siblings and we never got along but now that we’re adults we get along a lot better because as you get older you mature and the arguing stops.

I'm 23 years old. Still a little awkward as a person and I don't open up easily as well. For me personally, 2 things always help me whenever I am down or defeated. Actually, I've made it my routine and the most central part of my life. 1) Building on my personal relationship with God. That includes talking to Him, praying. worshipping, and personal bible reading. I go about life knowing that He is my Lord and Saviour and that I'm His child - He loves me. I've realized that people come and go, but Christ always stays and is with me all the time. True identify, fulfillment, and purpose is what I've found in Him. My peace and joy come from Him, not people. God is the only one who hasn't failed and disappointed me. 2) Focusing on how I can help/serve others, even when there is an issue I'm facing in my personal life. Ever since I've started volunteering as an AV/Media team member, I've been much more productive and happier. Focusing constantly on myself got me little, but turning the focus on God and then thinking about someone other than myself really helped me out. && Emma, it gets better. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Emma and Ellie are such beautiful young ladies, growing into gorgeous young women. I feel for everything Emma’s been going through, and Ellies maturing so quick. They were raised perfectly and they’ll be so successful when they’re older, because they already are.

I totally relate to what Emma is feeling. I left a friend group that was super toxic and I spent a while without true friends. It took a while but I have finally found people who treat me as equal and will always support me. It might take a while but there are always people out there!

I wish I knew Emma because I would understand her frustration and understand her on so many levels!!! I definitely understand where Emma is coming from, im a junior in high school in Los Angeles and ever since I moved to this new city I haven't felt like myself. It is mentally draining to have to find new friends and constantly drop friendships, and most of the time you get criticized by people you don't even know, who just want to make you insecure or lower your self confidence. People ALWAYS tell me that im so quiet and intimidating, not sure if its a compliment or insult but it definitely just ruins my self esteem. I didn't think people ever looked at me that way, and I always stress over it. Emma if you ever read this I would like you to know that you will get through this and you are not alone, don't change who you are to please others. You are awesome!!

I think Emma should consider therapy. I am the same way as Emma and my therapist gave me so many suggestions on how to start trusting people. It also seems like Emma needs someone to talk too so I feel like it would help her understand herself more cuz what she is going through it completely normal. Personally my job has helped me become more outgoing because you have to talk a lot to customers and co workers so Emma could consider a small part time job at least for the summer?¿

I definitely can relate to Emma on the introvert and I wish I could have changed that in high school or even earlier as well.

I am impressed by Emma's ability to self reflect honestly (especially on YT) - that is a virtue that is hard to come by - I bet your parents are proud of you. She said a lot of things that stood out to me - but the one thing that really resonates with me is "wishing we matured earlier on in life" and "wishing she had a better relationship with her sister". It's never too late to improve and build those important relationships. You're a good person, you're young, you're smart, and it's never too late to make changes!

Emma, just a little advice, there is over 10 years between me and my brother and he is my best friend, we have the best relationship siblings could have. So don’t get hold back by your age gap. It’s ONLY 5 years. And also don’t feel bad for not acting like an adult. You are NOT an adult yet, enjoy your teenage years while you have them, you will be an adult for the rest of your life. I wish I hadn’t grown up as fast as I have , I had too. Now I am nearly 30 and I miss being a teenager. Be responsible and work towards your goals but enjoy the age you are at right now and act your age. You’re a great human being, you still can change, you can still become more confident and extrovert. But do it in your own time 🥰🥰🥰 you’re a great person

my sister and i are 8 years apart so when i was 8 she was 16 and it was hell! we def didn’t get along but now that i’m 19 we are super close and i am so thankful for her! you’ll get closer soon when she gets a bit older! i always go to my sister even tho she’s much older:)

I have wanted to move to Florida for quite a while now. I have lived it through your family and have enjoyed all of your videos. I totally get needing interaction with people and things to do. We spent a few days in Florida a few weeks ago (first time not at Disney) and I have to say it is nothing like Ohio. By the time we left I was telling my hubby no thank you. I’m sure it was just the area we were in. I’m totally a people person lol. Hearing Emma talk about her relationship with Ellie melted my heart. Emma it is NEVER too late to establish a good relationship with your sister. My kids who are a little bit older then you grew up not getting along at all. Now that they are in their 20’s they are so much closer. Spend time with your sister doing what she likes to do. Take the time to find out what she likes. Spend time together just you and her and it will get easier as time goes on. As a parent I had to take a step back and let my two connect more. Ellie I am excited to see you play baseball/softball. I bet you are going to rock it! Maybe you can get back into cheer. It’s good that you are trying new things. You will figure out what interests you more and be that much better at it! My sister is almost 18 and I’m 23. We were never close until this year. But I have other younger siblings as well. I totally get you regretting not putting in the extra effort to be more close with her. It is so hard to find common ground with a sibling so much younger than you. But one day you guys will be so close 💛💛

My sister is 14 and I am going to be 19, and it sometimes so hard to connect with her bc of the age gap but it really is just about the effort. I didn’t even realize how much of an influence I was to her and once I made the effort to spend time with her and do things that she likes to do, I could really see our relationship growing. I’m sure Ellie looks up to you more than you can imagine. Also, it’s okay not to live a super productive lifestyle. Your only 17 and you deserve to love and live life :)

I bet y’all would enjoy the Nashville area. You can find a suburban area that’s not far from Downtown Nash and not far from the lakes. You could find a great middle ground for fun stuff to do and enjoy lake life too! The schools are not bad either, there’s a lot of great districts.

I don’t know what happened to the hedgehog but I would recommend doing tons of research before allowing Ellie to get a pet. Even animals as small as hamsters need a lot of care (Ex: Bin cages really popular). Please try to provide it with a good home and not a pet store cage!!

True friends are there no matter what happens. They are there for you whether they are front & center or behind the scenes. They can be nearby or far away. I applaud you for not talking on social media about the problems (reasons) you’ve had with recent friendships and the loss of those friendships. There is no reason to give people the attention or fame (may be the word). It’s better to be the bigger person & leave private issues private. Private lives are private for a reason because they’re nobody else’s business unless you choose to share what happens and not everything needs to be known by everyone in the world who watches your channel. As far as being close with Ellie that will come. The older she gets the less the age difference will matter and you’ll have more in common with each other.

Hi have an idea for emma since sometimes i feel like she talking to the camera or feel comfortable enough to speak easily, i think emma should consider recording videos every time she goes through staff similar to journaling, she would record in small details who she feels, and when she would look back at it should would remember the feeling and realize how she grows, it a great way because we forget things as we grow and will forget past trauma or dark memories

My family moved from Missouri to Sanibel island. I was so mad at first to move but the schooling is wayyyy better here than my small town I moved from. I am now at UCF and so happy to be in Florida. I’ve seen a couple videos where you’ve came to Sanibel and if you ever need ideas for places to go in this area and things to do I’m more than happy to give you ideas! The fort myers area is up and coming and we’re getting big attractions like top golf!
