8 years on and I still think The OG DiRT Rally looks fantastic.. Do you guys agree?
The rain effects are almost perfect to me, I wonder why they can’t just use a slightly improved version of this for the new EA / Codemasters WRC game?
Don’t get me wrong I’m really excited to play the new WRC game, but the rain effects from the trailer the other day didn’t look overly great?
Also the car sounds in this game are chef’s kiss.
Anyway enough rambling. Hope you guys enjoy this wild ride through Wales in the Ford Fiesta RS Rally. If you did feel free to leave a like/comment/sub, any support is always greatly appreciated, cheers! :)

Soon, at the end of October Codemasters will release EA Sports WRC. From what i have seen, its a pretty good game. When it releases, please play it! i would love to see a gameplay of you in EA Sports WRC.

@@incendiareszoom I didn’t make the cut it seems this time around mate, sorry about that. I was pretty disappointed myself given how many DR videos I’ve made. Will still have plenty content on it when it releases though 🙂

Some locations (including Wales) were just DLC from DR1 so yeah they didn’t add/change the new stages for those locations

Is it optimal to shift right above the redline? I tried to figure it out with some reddit posts about power curves but I couldnt make much sense of it. You make amazing videos though, it's so cool seeing you drive so well 😮

handling better than dirt rally 2 for sure.. Suspension!! EA WRC is more like Dirt 1. I never liked the handling of the dirt rally 2.0 but it still a good game.

The Ford Fiesta RS has an amazing sound. Shame they didn't introduce it on DR2.0. Hope they recycled this engine audio into EA WRC...

Yeah totally agree, it sounds amazing. From what I’ve seen/heard so far, the engine sounds in WRC 23 are going to be very realistic. Fingers crossed that is the case! :)

@@dimonrallyfun Yeah been watching a lot of the gameplay vids! Hard to say until we play for ourselves but some people are saying it’s a bit too easy/grippy. Hopefully they can take a look into it over the next couple weeks but there’s not much time left

@@Storm_RX I hope so too. But there is one caveat. Already when the first news appeared about what Codemasters would do In the WRC, I understood that they, of course, would want to make a more mass-produced product. Because it's marketing. It makes no sense for them to do hardcore just for fans. The best they could do was different modes for different players. But I'm already afraid that I took the pre-order in vain, and I will play DR 2.0 more often.

In my opinion they shouldn't have released DiRT Rally 2.0. They should have made DiRT Rally the Skyrim of racing games. Keep milking it by releasing DLC tracks or other stuff, and granting more mods.

Interesting concept! I have to say I do love the handling/physics model of DR1, in some ways even more than DR2! DR2 obviously looks amazing at times when it’s maxed out, but DR1 was clearly no slouch in the graphics or sound departments. It would be a dream come true if they’d open up DR1 or DR2 to mods, just can’t imagine it would ever happen sadly!

Honestly its sound is not real. Its sound effects also not realistic at all. In 2015 it was awesome. Now is already outdated

Друг мой, подскажи пожалуйста, руль работает есть слабый фидбэк ну очень слабый и нельзя настроить в вкладке фидбэк просто все серым, брал руль чисто ради этой игры в врс 10 и просто дирт ралли все нормально работает тут прям лажа какая то в чем может быть проблема ?
