Welcome to Throwback Thursday! This is a weekly series where I dig back into my stash of papers, dies, tools, products and techniques and we create something fresh and new together.
This week we are creating a sweet 7" x 5" trifold card folio using Fancy Pants Honey and Bee collection with Elizabeth Crafts Designs Everyday Elements by Annette Green and Reneabouquets Tiny Bee Hive.

Watching this cover come together has been such a joy! The sunflowers are so homey (is that a word?) and country...I think I need to add this flower set to my die collection. You've built in so many layers on this cover!! Your tri-fold tutorials have become a staple for me...never made them until I followed your instructions. I find myself always adding a ribbon closure on a tri-fold...definitely adds drama to the project. Mustard seeds...wonderful design detail!! Bees provide such warm and wonderful summer joy! Happy 4th to all!

Your designs are always so beautiful and creative! It would be so helpful if you could give some ideas on how to package or wrap these creations for gift giving that are as creative and beautiful as the item inside. Thank you for sharing your creative gift and ideas!

Thank you! I have shared these on many occasions, but here you go: I like to either wrap these in pretty tissue paper and tie with Baker's Twine and place in a gift bag. Or, if I am mailing, I wrap in tissue and place in a bubble mailer between two sheets of thin chipboard. Postage is between $4-$5 which is a lot, I know...but the card IS the gift, so I don't mind that so much. Other folks I know build boxes that fit the card, and I used to do that as well, but it uses a LOT of paper, and you have to then ship in a box. Hope that helps!

This is a cute card. However I wish you’d think about creating another patriotic card. I went all the way back to 9 years ago. I went thru ALL your videos since the original studio tour 9 years ago. I think I only found 3 patriotic cards in 9 years. Do you think in 2024 you could do maybe a patriotic week in January or March like Christmas in December? I love your folios, cards and albums even if they aren’t patriotic. ❤
