I'm glad you are feeling well enough to share with us. Love the Bee stamp set the send you as a gift, I have a beehive and I'm always in the look for some new 🐝 stamps.
Great haul 😻 amazing stuff you got, looking forward to seeing your creations. Glad to hear your surgery went well, sending prayers for your eyes ❤ thanks for sharing and happy crafting Hugs xx
So glad to hear you are doing well! I hope the surgery is a success and you can have relief from your symptoms. So fun to see your shopping haul--I just "window shopped" for Doodlebug items. They make me smile, even if I don't buy them. Take care to rest your eyes as needed and know that we are all out here, wishing you our best.
So happy to hear about your surgery 😍. Very happy you are back to work giving us some much needed inspiration. Honey Bee and Doodlebug 🤪 two of my favorite companies! I am anxiously waiting to see what you make with them 🥰. Take care Kristie and again so thankful that you’re doing well. 😊
Hope your surgery was a success. Love your style of cardmaking. I made all my Christmas cards like you do and no coloring. Had many compliments. I used a 6x6 paper pad. It was fun and quicker.
Kristie, glad to hear surgery was easy. Here's hoping it worked well and you can get your other eye done. Good to hear your voice. Love both of those 6X6 pads, can't wait to see your cards. Elizabeth
Kristie, So glad to hear that the laser surgery went well now praying to hear good reports in the coming weeks and months! Looking forward to watching your 6x6 vid on the Coffee & Friends paper pad! I really love your tutorials and look forward to them. Best wishes and love sent your way. Praying for you. 😊 🙏
You could use that "chalkboard" paper with white ink or white embossing powder! The next page or so, made me think of that. TFS Glad you are recovering quickly.
You got so many great products to use. Now I got a long wish list. Lol I’m obsessed with Paper Rose at the moment thanks to u 😁. You rest up that eye. Happy to hear recovery is going well. 💚❌⭕️
So glad to hear your surgery went well and that you'e healing. It's good to see you back playing again... although with the pre-recording you did it didn't feel like you were gone long. at all :) I do hope the rest of your healing goes very quickly and very well.
Glad to hear your update and will keep praying for great results. Thank you for all you do for this community and the nursing home near you. Looking forward to seeing your Valentine Cards. Take Care!
Glad to see you back online. I love watching you work. Wish I were half as talented at putting things together. I'm good at copying though. Thanks for your ideas.
So glad to hear all went well with your eye surgery! I'll be looking for the videos with the goodies shown. I'll be laid up for awhile due to having knee surgery on Jan. 5th for a torn Meniscus. Wished h we along would go fast so I could work on reorganizing my craft room. I ordered a electronic die cutting machine that works better for my arthritis. The gripping and hard cranking with my spell binder has gotten to be to much so, I'm looking forward to using my new machine.
Glad you are doing so well!! I wish I knew about that coffee paper pad when I was off buying the Paper Rose wine paper. 😂😂 I also got the quilt die from Honeybee. Can’t wait to get it! Thank you for sharing your new goodies!
So great you can craft again. The recovery is fast. I am glad for you and hope the surgery for your other eye will be as successful as this one. Are you bothered by your eyesight? Lots of love 💕 and thanks for sharing your stuff 🥰🤗
My eyesight isn't bad at all. My eyes do bother me though since I suffer from constant dry eyes because of all the medications I use to treat glaucoma. The hope is that I can discontinue some or all of the medications.
Kristie Marcotte great to hear that! I discovered I was allergic to preservatives when having been treated with eye drop medication for eye checks, and when using make up. Since then I don’t use make up anymore and ask if there is an alternative for the eye drops. I hope this might be usefull for you to hear. Lots of love 🤗
First, glad to see you’re doing well. Second, looking forward to videos with the Honey Bee Love Letters (mine is in transit) and going to order the Doodle Bug and coffee paper pads.....
I've had both eyes done for cataracts and the DIFFERENCE was amazing! A friend had both her eyes done for glaucoma and she is SO HAPPY! I hope that you will get the same amazing results.
Will continue to pray you get good results. I'm glad you're feeling so well. What a nice collection of new products. I look forward to seeing what you do with them.
Heresy!! EVERYTHING goes with coffee!! LOL, just teasing :D So glad you're doing well, my friend ♡ You had a great time shopping, and you made some terrific choices! Will be glad when you're feeling ready to create again. But please recover at your own speed. We'll all be here to greet you when you're up to it. {{{♡♡♡}}}
I ordered my first order the amounts for the freebie stamp/die at honey bee and super disappointed now that I didn’t get it. Oh well, it happens. Lol. It’s free so I didn’t reach out to the company. I just ordered a bunch of the word dies with stamps that coordinate after watching your cards with them. Can’t wait to see what you do with the new love letters paper pad!
Bummer you didn't the freebies. I'm not sure if they are only for certain days with the new releases. Their word dies are awesome! I ordered a bunch with their Black Friday sale.
I'm not really sure. I think it's $75 for the stamp set and $100 for the stamp and die set. But I don't know if the freebies are only on certain days right after the release. I obviously spent plenty to receive both. Lol!
Hello Kristie. I've been watching a few of your past videos and had a suggestion. The sequins are quite staticky (is that a word? LOL) and I know you use a bit of paper towel to try to make that less, but have you tried using a dryer sheet or, if you use liquid fabric softener, a small piece of cloth or paper that has been soaked in the fabric softener and dried? I just thought that might help to conquer the static on sequins and other bits.
hi Kristie, do you buy everything separately or are your demonstrations kits that you buy, if they are kits where can I purchase them. I like the fact that everything is all contained to make cards, sometimes I don't want to think too much .. glad your surgery went well, take care
Hello. Everything I showed in the video was purchased separately. I use the Love From Lizi kit every month since I'm on their design team. I also use Pink & Main's kits occasionally. If you like everything all coordinated, I would suggest looking into a monthly kit. They really are fun!
Please....when you are using card sketches with measurements....and you add a mat to a piece....is the mat the measurement or the actual designer paper? I'm trying to figure out which one to adjust measurements on. Thank you!! And, I'm thinking the larger piece is just 1/4 inch larger? Is that correct. Thank you!!!
The measurements I list on the sketches are for the pattern paper. I then add 1/8" for the matted layers. For the backgrounds, I generally cut it at 4" x 5 1/2", then add the matted layer at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Once in awhile, I add 1/4" for the background matted layer.
@@KristieMarcotte got it now!! Thanks SO much. You inspire me so much. I was at a standstill in my card making and you and your videos got me rolling again!! 😃💗
