Alana "Honey Boo boo" Thompson during her run on DWTS Juniors edition: Alana and her partner Tristan Ianiero (with mentor Artem Chigvintsev) were eliminated fourth, finishing the competition 8th.
Y’all realize she’s the star in this? She’s the famous one. She has no dancing experience, and she is dancing with someone who has probably been dancing most of there life.
I have to respond...she's has reality tv notoriety...and not in a good way...her size is not my criticism ...its her lack of dancing skills ... It's not size ...Amber Riley is a big girl and she won dwts season 17. Fred "rerun" Berry was a member of the original dance troupe The Lockers.
@@ceeedwards8453 amber heard had to chose between two dreams of being a singer and a dancer. amber’s had the experience from glee meanwhile honey boo boo is just a kid that has a reality tv show that has little to known dancing experience, so obviously she’s going to lack in dancing skills.
@@ceeedwards8453 that’s why it’s “dancing with the stars” the whole gag of it is to watch the celebrities with no experience try to keep up with the actual dancers.
I actually am amazed at how well she was able to perform with no prior experience and in so little time. She had amazing facials and these dances made me smile. :)
I feel bad she left at only week four. I understand she was limited by her size, but you could tell that she was genuinely enjoying herself. At lest she was having fun and being active.
Thank you!! You’re literally the only positive person in this comment section. Sometimes it’s not about winning, but just trying your best and having fun 😁
I will say she's not great, but lets be real: She makes up for it with sas and personality. Dance isn't just about the moves, but also the energy. She did bring fierce energy.
It’s amazing to see someone have confidence in themselves to dance on tv even when they aren’t the best dancer. She looked like she was having fun and she tried her best. That is what is most important. Plus she did improve over the weeks.
It’s messed up how people body shame her. Do any of you have a heart? She’s beautiful the way she is and if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything at all.
Everyones talking crap on alana but I'd like to see all of you dance on a stage infront of that many people. And you can see her doing alot more different movements and improvment in the 3rd and 4th routine. Give her some credit
Coming from someone who has been dancing tap, jazz, and ballet for 16 years now, I think Alana did really great having not been trained in dancing. She has the confidence and energy needed to always brighten up a routine. I do think the chorography was repetitive, not her fault of course, and that she totally could have handled more difficult steps.
Exactly I do ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop and point and I have seen people do worse and they have been trained their entire life’s. I know you may not believe me because I’m only 11 but she is really actually good. Decent at the least.
@@brooklynnschutte2011 Oh I completely believe you. I'm only 19 myself, and while I've started dancing at 3, I can totally see she is decent for someone with no previous training. Dancing is really hard, I don't think many people realize it. The steps get harder the older you are, and then putting them together in a routine and having to do that routine over and over again and perfect it is very tiring, although totally worth it in the end. I feel like most of the people commenting how awful she was haven't done dance a day in their lives. Maybe once the do they'll take back what they said.
wait I’m just realizing... Hudson got a better score than her in week 2 and still went home. this audience pisses me off like what. I lowkey feel like the show was just really trying to keep her around cause she’s one of the more famous/entertaining ones
that's literally how it works. my teacher was on x factor and its the same. they group people together- the funny ones, the attractive ones with sob stories, and the genuinely good ones- and make sure there's one of all three groups up until the end. it's nothing to do with the audience. thats nothing more than a money ploy because you have to spend money a lot to text in
I feel like they both knew they weren’t going to win BUT I thought they were going to leave like the first week..but they didn’t do too bad...and I think then Alana even tho she couldn’t do tricks she had amazing energy and did really good with the dancing...
@@redandgreencandles Some people can't lose weight, you don't know if she tries or not. We all have different body types and she's perfectly healthy. People like you really piss me off
@@chloes.8026 Some people can't control that, like what the hells not going through your brain that some people literally can't do that because that's just how they're born
@@bobinbuckley Yes they can. Stop making excuses for obesity. This entire family is unhealthy. And they don't try to lose weight because they don't care and they know how to set boundaries. Thankfully a couple of the daughters are away from it now.
Un popular opinion: honey boo boo cleaned up nicely and yes she did shake her hips a lot but go her, she killed it and worked what she has! You go girl!
I actually think that Alana is amazing :D She's been through so much. Her mother is such a bad influence and needs serious help particularly that her mother keeps getting into abusive relationships. Geno was only with her mother for the fame and to get on T.V. I hope that Alana finds somebody who is really there for her. Alana's sister Jessica is super, super amazing because she graduated from medical school :D :D :D :D :D
Yeah maybe shes not that good of a dancer I agree but everyone should not say something about her weight because that just mean and it’s not okay to make fun of people just for there weight and that probably affects her a lot and that judging her and that’s not okay at all judge someone when you’re perfect because nobody’s how you feel if someone was saying that stuff to you?
Sommerelb that’s the whole reason why I said something is because people were talking about it there were people talking about her weight in the comments
She still tried, this is in order to entertain and make people feel like everybody can dance. Definitely he is a professional dancer but I was someday as heavy as her and tried my best to fit with the society that says you should be like this or that. I feel proud that they included Honey Boo Boo.
To all the rude comments about alanas dancing, I bet u wouldn’t have the guts and confidence do go on a show and dance in front of that many people, leave her alone - she’s done nothing wrong. She clearly enjoyed herself and that’s what matters. She should be happy she did it
Don't put her down I think she did an amazing job!! For you Alana I thought you were great! Don't listen to negative pple. You got up there and done your thing and that's all that matters good for you!!
Where were all these comments when she was still in the competition everyone was like “I’m so proud” “she’s improving every week” “no one better say anything mean” Bro how come all of a sudden we’re speaking the truth 🙄smfh
Her energy is amazing ❤️ I don’t care what anyone says I loved watching her perform ! Sure she isn’t the best dancer but dance isn’t just about the moves. She brings amazing energy to the table and knows how to put on a show !
regardless of her dance skill level, her stage presence is great. she has good energy and is very expressive, it makes her fun to watch because she looks like she’s having fun.
Lauren x same. tristan made those dances watchable. if he was with anyone else he would look soo much better honey boo boo is just an overweight brat end of story
@@flowersinthebreeze6861 No, not end of story. You must be overweight yourself if you would call someone that. She has struggled with weight all of her life and has the confidence to go on a dancing show. You are just in-sensitive and need to take anger out on someone else who is having a much better life than you. End of story.
Years of pageant training helped I'm sure. Gave her that confidence to be moving on a stage in front of the world, as well teaching her the basics of stage moves/hitting your marks, since as a pageant kid she had to do minor dance-ish/sassy moves on stage, strutting for the judges.
I can't believe all the disgusting comments about a 13yr old. I say lucky for her that she got to be on that show. Good for her that she looks like she had a great time. Haters are just jealous that they aren't experiencing what she got to.
How about you say something good because she got to be there for a good reason And YOU didn’t because you don’t try Your just a coach potato that goes and hates on talented people
Bob Ross why say that they don’t even try when you have absolutely no idea who they are and what they do? And people are allowed to say their opinion. All they said was that her swinging around so much made them feel dizzy.
Honey boo boo is really good at dance for her weight and I hate how people say “all she did was sing her hips” or I feel bad for him” she is really beautiful to :)
its Harry ! Im actually a wonderful and awesome person. But ofc ur someone judging someone off a comment online that u just disagree with (im guessing ur a millenial, just going out on a limb) 😂😂😂 and im just stating the obvious. Shaking ur hips IS NOT dancing dude. Sorry but its the truth...
