Honey Bunches of Oats (1989) 

I love this cereal. Its not overly sweet, its filling and its delicious.

They Probably Place Coke in the Cereal, because I literally can't enough of this MAGIC CEREAL

Whats nice about this cereal is, its not too sweet and its not too boring. Perfect mixture!

I remember seeing a commercial where a family at the grocery store and ended up with three boxes. It reminded me of Supermarket Sweep, which was in production at the time.

I definitely remember those commercials and I miss the days of commercial jingles. I appreciate the fact that you have created such an awesome jingle for your channel! As for HBO, I don't think that I have ever tried them. You said it best, there are just so many other cereals to choose from, that I guess I have overlooked it for the past 17 years. I might try the new chocolate variety soon though. Thanks again for the great videos!

I recently started eating this cereal and I am addicted. So addicted I'm watching a 4-year-old video!

I was a die-hard Raisin Bran Crunch man for many a year. This year, my friend recommended Honey Bunches of Oats and I tried it for the first time. I still love Raisin Bran Crunch and several other cereals, but HBoO is my new favorite cereal.

Honestly I wasn't too excited when I got the RU-vid notification about you uploading this video. But after watching it was actually a great video. I think it's the facts and how it was created and the overall history is what did it. I'll never question another upload again. Great job Gabe. Post script; I do enjoy Honey Bunches of Oats but it's not a cereal I buy a lot unless I'm craving it. But the original nevertheless is very tasty. You took me back with that commercial as I remember it vividly.

I love this cereal

For me, honey bunches of oats was like a gateway cereal for my weight loss journey. Lost 5% bodyfat by starting with honey bunches with almonds, then fibre one, then grape nuts.

Somehow, I didn't figure you would have covered this one, Gabe, but I'm most certainly glad you did. Honey Bunches Of Oats is one of the greatest cereals ever to exist by far, right next to Basic 4. The best varieties of the main line (not counting Just Bunches) are the Banana, the Vanilla, and DEFINITELY the Greek varieties, although I contend that the latter may have either been discontinued or relegated to regional ration status (which I LOATHE completely).

I effin love this cereal. I don't remember the first time I tried it, but after that time, it was a must-buy when we went to Sam's club (too expensive in any other place) I usually get tired of many kinds of cereal like Choco Krispies or Cheerios but nevevr Honey Bunches.

As I've grown up Honey Bunches of Oats and Honey Kix are my go-to. Other cereals just lost their appeal and the sweetness is nauseating. These fill that comfort food and hint of sweetness I look for.

Honey Bunches of Oats, what a great tasting cereal! I always loved the Honey Roasted the most. I could have sworn at one point there was an organic variety of Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted flavor by Post. I could be wrong, but I thought I remember having an organic variety of this cereal in my house back in the early to mid 2000s sometime. Though I can't find any evidence online that it ever existed. It's very odd.

My Grandma Loved Honey Bunches of Oats, I remember her making her own style of cereal back in the 70's & 80's, she would take Corn Flakes & mix in Granola. It' wasn't exactly like HBoO's, but it was close... Me personally I like it to, but the Vanilla style is by far my favorite. I'm a HUGE Vanilla fan, I never was big into Chocolate...

I love this stuff, i buy the regular HBOF with a bag of their granola and add a bit more granola to the bowl, its heaven!

Great cereal, but the bags really suck...they always rip when I open a new box.

They ruined it now! I used to love it, but they have changed the recipe and it tastes artificial and more corn based (very hard texture). There is a lingering unpleasant aftertaste! All great things come to an end!
