This is a storm-damaged honey locust that we removed using a 60 Ton crane. It was in a tight spot between the house and the fence. Would have taken all day without the crane.

Interesting to see some different hitches for crane work, even on the smaller limbs. Some clips would make for a great voice-over/breakdown Patrick....just sayin` ;-) Helluva job!

Why did the 1,400 pound piece pop up when it was pre-loaded to 1,000?

Because Locust is always top heavy. When you think you're high enough, go higher.

700-lbs. or 800-lbs. might have been good...1,000-lbs. isn't causing any problems.
