This was your best video to date. Tips, tricks, production, enthusiasm and flat out perfectly cooked ribs. Enjoyed it man. Also congrats on the Memphis win!
I think one thing I appreciate about this channel is how thorough the instructions are in the video and the fact they put it in the video description as well. Not all BBQ RU-vidrs give you step by step instructions and you spend a lot of time guessing. I have to say I have used this rub combo on ribs and it is phenomenal. I just used butter, brown sugar and peach preserves in the wrap.
Heath your honey rub adds the most beautiful color to ribs, I get nothing but rave reviews whenever I use it. Your rubs, sauces, and videos have made me a backyard pit master!
Congratulations on Memphis in may champ. I stopped by and love what you doing. Can’t wait to try these. I did your Cajun chicken sandwich and my wife and I loved them.
Heath, well deserved congratulations for what you did in Memphis. Is that your 1st win there? Your products are top shelf sir and your rib technique is the only way I cook them now. They never disappoint
I just cook baby backs and used your honey and peach they came out amazing. I also used your butter bath as a mop, game changing the ribs were so moist with a softer bark. The ribs were not wrap I call it the hybrid rib cook
The first video I ever watched on ribs was 4 years ago from you and first rubs and sauces I ever bought was yours as well! Been hooked ever since and was so happy to see you win Memphis in may!! Your the man Heath!! I’m using your product in my upcoming backyard competition!! 👊
OMG this is a fantastic Rib-recipe! This is the way I’ll be making my Ribs from now on. Congratulations on The Memphis In May Ribs victory! Well deserved! Love love love all your video’s! You’re a true inspiration! Thank you @Heath Riles👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Congratulations 🎊 That peach 🍑 rub is killer. My wife doesn't like peaches but I slide that rub on and it goes so well with everything that she never even knows it.
Heath, I will order some peach seasoning tonight. This looks awesome. I have won a few local BBQ cook offs within the community here in California. My secret is your seasonings. Appreciate everything.
This guy is the biggest reason I barbecue I got over half his seasonings I wish I could meet him in person and get some knowledge I know he’s from Ashland,ms and I’m from grand Junction,tn which isn’t far at all
Been on that Honey Chipotle/Peach combination on ribs for a while now. It's so dang good. When they come off after setting the sauce I like to put the Peach rub in a thumb grinder and lightly dust the tops. Money. Now if we can just get ribs to come back down to a reasonable price, that would be awesome...lol.
Man I can't wait to try this!! My Son recently kicked butt with some of your Killer Hog rub!! Actually he kicked my Butt, with his Boston Butt cooking on his Traeger. I taught him everything he knows well except for what you taught him!!!! 😂😂😂 Also just wanted to tell you a really good rib recipe is one that Johnny Trigg made and he used Parkay squeeze and Tiger sauce! Fantastic!!!
Enjoyed the video enough to order all the products. Just completed the cook. I used a Primo with Flame Boss for heat control so the temps were right on at 275. I wish I would have left the sauce off and just tried them as per the Peach and Honey Chipotle rubs with Butter Bath. That would have given me a better idea of the taste that came from the those. I'm not really a sauce guy and don't understand why folks routinely add a sauce to pulled pork and or brisket. For those guests who do it at my house before they even taste the cook don't get an invite back. These were good but I'll have to try them again before I make a final judgement.
@Heath Riles BBQ I'll take all the help I can get. I'm gonna start competing again next month here in Texas. Took about a year off due to an injury and have never had this problem.
And, along with the Boston Butt, I've got a slab of these St. Louis ribs going as well. I'm out of apple juice, so I'm using a little beer with my butter bath.
I have those rubs and am gonna do this! Just curious...at the beginning you mentioned using pecan pellets but toward the end you said hickory pellets. Do you think it matters?
This is a good one, but I'd recommend this competition style rib video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6r9uZYhmM0U.htmlsi=a0LL4aDI0hEHURvt Lay down a base layer of my Garlic Jalapeño and come back with a coat of my Competition BBQ Rub.
None of his spices in my opinion have been hot, it’s more about the flavor. That said dust a lighter coat of that seasoning on half the rack and see how they turn out. Fine tune it to your tastes. You can’t go wrong with any of Heaths seasonings.
What Patrick said. A few of the rubs may have more pepper in it, so I would suggest a lighter coat of seasoning or play around with the flavors. Maybe add a little sweet to balance it out.
