#MSFS #Honeycomb In this video I will show an important thing to note when setting up your Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant in a two jet configuration when it comes to thrust reverser lever and settings.
Great video, mate! I just received my Bravo and, like you, simply grabbed the #2 of of the Commercial box. I did get it working with the PMDG but will have to check to see the button assignments now that it is properly installed.
Thank you for watching and for commenting MrScott! Did you get it all working with your PMDG aircraft? Have you got the reversers working as well? Let me know if you have any questions and again, appreciate your support! Check out one of my/our livestream sometime. Would love to have you join! Cheers and Blue Skies!!
Of course! It's easy to miss. Glad the video helped maciejbartosz4057. Thank you for watching the video and Blue Skies! Come join us for a livestream sometime!
I set it up differently. I set the reverser handles as a reverser toggle, so I can use the throttle to have adjustable reverse thrust rather than max reverse thrust.
Hi there. You will want to change your settings on the EFB (ipad) on the fbw aircraft in the cockpit. I'm not at my computer to reference but you should find a setting there to change and I believe it's something like reverse is not part of the axis.
Are you sure it's just the wrong lever as opposed to your throttle 2 just being broken? I think the point of three being changeable is so that you can have realistic levers for 2 and 4 engine configurations. Lever 3 shouldn't actually change anything mechanical over lever 2
You are correct. Also, the throttle isn't broken, it's just the way it's designed. As you said, lever 3 in the box is for doing two engine or four engine configurations. If you put the actual lever 2 in a 2 engine setup it will still work but the reverses don't face each other like they should, purely cosmetic and no effect on function. The issue i was having within MSFS is I just had to reset and remap the levers and reverses; so I had two different things going on. Thanks for commenting and blue skies!
Anybody know what a fix to my problem is? When im flying either of the jets (not airliners) the left engine keeps shutting down and it will NOT start back up. I have no bindings that would cause an issue and it works fine on everything else. I hit the start engine button and it starts to work for a few seconds and automatically shuts down after. Ive spent hours trying to figure it out and have nothing..
Hi Nick, you mentioned that you have no bindings set; how many device inputs do you have setup? My recommendation is to duplicate all of you control inputs and then remove ALL mappings and start fresh. Not entirely sure what the issue is, but I would definitely start with a fresh slate just to be sure. I have thought before I didn't have any mapping conflicts while in fact I did and until I cleared everything, I had issues. Unfortunately at this point in time, MSFS will allow you to have multiple mappings (and doesn't alert for conflicts) which can cause hours upon hours of frustration for simmers. Anyway, keep me posted if you get it resolved! Blue skies!!
