From a fresh whole honeycomb! This is one of the best tasting treats ever.
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tbsp honey
1/3 cup water
1 tbsp baking soda
1. Prepare a baking dish with well-oiled parchment. Set aside.
2. Combine sugar, corn syrup, honey, and water in a pan.
3. Whisk to combine, then turn heat to medium high.
4. Bring this mixture to a boil, then bring it up to 300 F or 150 C. Remove it immediately from the heat.
5. Add baking soda and whisk for just 5-8 seconds. Then pour immediately into your greased baking dish.
6. DO NOT MOVE IT, TOUCH IT, OR EVEN LOOK AT IT for 1.5 - 2 hours. Let it set. You can sprinkle a little salt if you want.
7. Crack it open with a blunt tool and enjoy!

Oddly enough, either by how simply you described it or by how simple it really is (both?) I just understood how Honey works in a couple minutes after literally years of clicking ebates/Rakuten links and giving up because it's too confusing (yes, even with the description from my fave youtubers). It's a year later and the link actually worked, I think. So, thanks for making it so easy and I hope the link still supports you because I've been wanting to join such a service for a long time now.
