Yeah you are one of the smartest builders around on YT. So nice to see new stuff and interesting layouts that just keep coming and coming. :)

building secret, never put the TC in the middle, create an easy to fallow path for raiders to go down for instance through ladder hatches, by using something like windows you can allow raiders to see into a room then contains nothing special, maybe some beds, a campfire and a locker pressed against a wall. said wall has is a doorway which contains your TC, at the top of the base. if you use sheet frames and shop windows, raiders will just think its an added layer of security if your being online raided, being able to know where the raiders are (which it is) but it also allows raiders to see nothing valuable in the spawn room so going down is far more worth then going through like 3 doors. ( i have built this way, it does work.) you need to trick the raiders make there job "easy" its all about playing with the heads of offline raiders, rather then beefing up your armor and praying for the best. Edit: oh and placing signs over doors like "water storage" "food storage" "explosive storage" when in reality food = junk and explosive's = water or something reallllllly annoys offline raiders and once then run out of Boom Boom's and have nothing they give up xD

Just a tip of advice for new players trying to build. When building a 2x2 add half height walls to the top. Upgrade to sheetmetal. I see a lot of base make 2x2 but don't upgrade or expanded and cramp everything inside. Please make your base harder.

I agree with you man. Having several bases instead of one creates a big opporunity. I usually have 1 main base, 1 upgraded starter and 1 refinery base. None of them are big but they are work if one gets raided

Hey Evil, can you make a base build/box placement for the base in the beginning?

Even if you can't farm that many nodes, just going around to every crates and drum barrels you come across you'll get a ton of items which you can just recycle into Scrap, Metal Fragments and High Quality Metals, Each item that can be turned into scrap or metal fragments can vary. I usually take any opportunity to scrap weapon bodies like SMG and rifle bodies, as well as Pipes and Tanks since you'll get a lot of metal and high-quality metals out of them. Another thing to consider that you can do, that I don't think a lot of people seem to know about, but is more difficult to do if you're solo or duo is destroying the Bradley APC and Attack Helicopter, you can get a lot of high quality and metal fragments from them by mining them with a pickaxe, it's a high risk reward but you should get at least 1k metal from them once you destroy them.

Makes sense. Bases need to be protected all around, but raiders only need one entrance.

Very interesting. I’m expecting about your videos about group of small bases, not necessary in a compound. I didn’t see anyone making videos about that approach and in particulary for DUO/TRIO players.

Wow after all these hours playing Rust I hadn't even considered that. Always struggling to build a bigger, stronger, more secure base rather than multiple bases...

I usually build a basic 2x2 and honeycomb 2 layers. Im a dedicated farmer as I havent quite got PVP down. Once Ive got my outer honey comb upgraded and built. Ill add two layers of half wall on the roof and fill them in. Basically, They have to use the same amount to get in either way.

But how does it compare to upgrading certain parts to HQM? I only build small compact bases for 1 or 2 (maybe 3) players and my current base is really compact. But instead of adding layers I upgrade the core to HQM. My base has the size of a honeycombed 2 x 2 which I think/hope will make it less of a Target for raiders.

Spread the loot, keep the over all cost down by having many small bases

im solo and i can keep a 14 000 Stone 5k métal 120hq base daily (official server) take à lot of time tho....wiping in 18h gonna miss it,about 3 double door hq,2 door hq and 13 garage door (strate to tc is 3 double hq door and 5 garage) door from top is 2 double hq door and 9 garage,2 first floor double honneycomb,2x2 where the tc full hq,2 roof bunkered,look like à sasuke shuriken lowest cost around 30k sulfur highest around 70-90k

Is there a easy way to find a becan garnade and would u recommend honey comb say 2 or 3 layers for a single player .? I got satchle. And then I found a vegan garnade then somone killed me right away #tilt i just don't know if I found it in a barrel or that box that spawns with a barrel or that little tool box

The annoying thing is, if you have that many layers of wall protection, you have to have so many doors to compare to the same protection. one wall costs 4x what a door does to get through, so if you have 4 layers of honeycomb, u gotta have 16 doors to tc or its not worth. Coming in and out of a base with 16 doors on it is just stupidly annoying. If you add garage doors, u can reduce this to half (8 doors) but that is still really annoying as hell to get in and out of every day.

So...... maybe it would be Smart to not put All your loot in a single spot? Its that or go play a modded server with less upkeep costs.

Pls make a solo duo base no BP's no exploits, I don't like having to do exploits when I want loot it just gets annoying and boring just give a no bp base for solo without exploits please...
