One of the last things my dad ever said to me before he died was "Find the humor in everything. No matter how bad it is, find a reason to laugh because laughter heals your heart." What happened to Hannah is absolutely horrific but I really dig how she finds the humor to help her heal. That in itself is beautiful. Ryan Sickler--you're changing lives one episode at a time. #honeydewnationforever

Yeah rape is a mind-boggling unexplainable trauma.. every situation is so different you do ask yourself all these questions, especially was it my fault ? I was dating a guy... he wouldn't let me leave the room until we had sex... he had enough beers to make the evil come out...after hours and hours and hours of fighting, arguing, begging to leave after nothing was changing and at that point my clothes had been forced off I turn my head to the side took the palm of my hand that was covering my(()) and he got what he wanted and that was the end of our 11-year 'relationship'! 😐🙃 It doesn't define me ! I attract kind and loving humans into my life at all times now!!✌🏽♥️

Yeah. Justice. You want her to go to jail for false accusations? Wasting tax dollars, wasting police time? Cause you must be a Biden supporter (misinformed, gullable, naive) if you believe this story. It makes zero sense. I know we're supposed to believe all women and all...but, listen to her again. The story doesn't even come close to adding up. Forgive me for not believing it, but its an unbelievable story.
@brittanyboucher3536
@brittanyboucher3536 2 года назад
Oh I didn't realize the detective, judge and jury was responding to the comments on this post. Why apologize when you are clearly not sorry for not believing a victim. Did you even listen to the whole pod? She has a timeline of what happened. The lack of empathy is pathetic. Sit down and be judgemental quietly. She didn't blast the person, she's doing everything she is supposed to do by reporting, and participating in the investigation. Hopefully there's a good ending to the awful experience.
@BRLambert4
@BRLambert4 2 года назад
@@shugertits you are just a troll and not worth the responses you will receive for this comment, but since it will absolutely inspire other children to come along and post something similar, I will add my 2 cents. What's awful about her story is that it is such a believable account because it happens all of the time everywhere and to all kinds of women. If you're being honest and you truly didn't believe her account will that just shows your complete lack of experience in life and that you most likely do not have any women in your life that you respect. There's so many things about her story that set her so differently apart from someone who might not seem as credible or somebody you might think is out an outline. A woman who is lying would have absolutely said her drink was spiked, would not have you been considered that she drank too much and that was possible she put herself in a compromising position. The detail that she gave in regards to being on the second day of her period, if you were lying about this story she would have saved that detail, because it's embarrassing for women to publicly talk about bleeding everywhere, and if it wasn't a very specific part of a real story she would have saved it. Lastly the reason why I know that you're a complete insult is that instead of just not feeling she was credible and considering that you wouldn't form an opinion either way since you didn't have all the facts, you jumped right to a resting her for a false report etc etc. I wonder if you've ever so quickly wanted a man who's actually raped women to be arrested as swiftly as you wanted this girl who was late to be arrested.

The system is broken for sure... But I'm not sure this story is it, YET. These things take time and detectives, district attorney's all involved have a process for this FOR A REASON. Sometimes I feel closer to death than life... And it is shown in my habitual systems of everyday life. Sometimes I feel stuck and I'm not making progress. Trauma is such a struggle. But Pain & Fear can be worked through and it strengthens your resolve. I need to tell myself good things every day. Life is precious. And humor is definitely a dose of medicine. I have been through a few things, but when I started to hear where this conversation was CLEARLY HEADING for the next hour+ I had to hit pause and sit outside for a few minutes and breathe, then go finish listening. This is one of those stories that no woman wants to tell, most men can't or don't want to sit through, but everyone needs to know how these things can go down seemingly out of nowhere. Stay safe, stay healthy Hanna! You sound like you are doing very well for what you've JUST gone though. ❤️

I drove cab for almost 20 years. Aside from the fact that in my town we get legitimate background checks and our permits are issued by the PD, the cabbie's car is also branded with a local phone number, and a vehicle #. Or, you could be an Uber driver with multiple felonies, a generic car, and a blow and go.

Thank you so much for sharing the detail of no one helping you because you were disheveled and acting wild. I had the same experience, except I was actually on drugs so no one took me serious or wanted to help. I relate to soooo many parts of this story, and I thank you so much for sharing. Even the whole "was I raped? Was this my fault?" After I was raped (multiple times). Without sharing my experience, I just want to say how refreshing it was to hear someone share those feelings that many people are either too scared to talk about or maybe skim over or don't have. I needed to hear that

Thank you Hannah, as a dude I knew shit like this was kind of happening but did not know it was happening this much. I am now letting all the girls in my life they need to be aware and careful using the Uber app. Thank you though for being able to be strong enough to tell this story, let alone Joke about. GOD LOVE COMEDY.
