Hello everyone, So here we come to day 2 of the anniversary trip to Chikmagalur. We had been to evidence to the beautiful weather,
Unexplored forest and the plantation.
The wake in the fresh mountain at 7 was unexperienced before.
Walk in the very large coffee and pepper plantations was wonderfull.
Kemmangundi called as red soil pit :
It's an famous hill station in Tarikere taluk of Chikmagalur district, Karnataka, India.
It's at the elevation of 1434m above the sea level, with its peak at 1863m. It has a pleasant climate throughout the year The monsoon season is a good time to visit kemmangundi because of the Lush greenery, but there can be intermittent rainfall.
This was the summer retreat of KRISHNA RAJA WODERYAR 4, and as a mark of respect of the king, it's also called as Sri Krishnarajendra Hill Station.
*) Z point is the vantage point at the kemmangundi and is reached by a steep uphill trek of about 45 mints from Raj Bhavan.
Shanti falls is on the way.
*) Krishnarajendra flower park and rock garden are maintenaned by the Horticulture Department of Karnataka.
*) Many varieties of roses are cultivated there.
It looks mesmerising during the rainy season.
It usually takes 1-2 days to explore the major places here.
