Paul Jabara was a wonderful talent. He was both the bride and groom on the album cover, and provided all the voices on the song. He acted in "Lords of Flatbush" and was one of the most important creative forces of the disco era.
Good tracks and gee, I miss Paul so much! We were both in HAIR and I got a chance to get to know him during our New York days, when he wrote Rachel Lily Rosenblum and Don't you Ever Forget it! He was ahead of his time...remember this when it was just a demo. RIP to a very talented visionary and hilarious friend. Puerto Rico was THE getaway back in the day! xoxo
I lived in Tampa Fla when this was out,danced to the whole song every time it came on at El Goya in 1979 won a few dance contest to it too! There will never be music so good as this era thanks for posting!
