Walking tour around Honeymoon Island State Park, Dunedin Florida, USA.
Located at the western end of the Dunedin Causeway, Honeymoon Island State Park is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of urban living.
The park has over 4 miles of beach with great swimming, fishing and shelling. There is also a section of beach that you can take your pet. Pets must be kept on a six-foot handheld leash while they are in the park.

This part of the Gulf Coast is pure paradise...and, I only have a seven minute car trip to get there. I love living in Dunedin and could not think of a better place to re-locate. It has so much to offer and the folks living here are so nice, never rude. So, if you are thinking about moving here leave your attitude at the state line or go to the east coast.

People leave the negative comments because they are just negative... Only one way to know for sure, take a trip down and see for yourself.. Never believe what you see or read on the internet.. Enjoy it for what it is and go see for yourself... To Me YES Dunedin is just as beautiful as this video..

if the water was really that color we wouldn't need to go to the Bahamas! :) all good but your videos are better than real! so people could be disappointed!

From Clearwater island or mainland? Dunedin is the next city up and it’s in between there and Palm harbor. If you look on the map it’s the island above Clearwater island

I live right off this beach and it is one of the best beaches in Florida easily...having said that . The saturation is raised so high when they edited this. The water is not that blue

@@tygalatians No it isn't, look at peoples clothes, especially the blues on the umbrellas and things. This is a cinema setting, the saturation isn't abnormal looking.

Yeah the water really is not that blue that camera is probably over exaggerating the color just to get people to be stupid enough to go down there in that desert and walk on sand full of shells and if you don't find sand that's full of shells you're on a disgusting Beach

It’s a state park, there’s no hotels or anything to rent a wheel chair.

The name of the island is in the actual title of the video lol. Noone is hiding anything, ot is a well known public beach, just look it up.

Don’t believe so. There are buildings for each beach (8 total I believe). Most of them are just bathrooms and changing rooms, but there is one gift shop.

There are lots of rattlesnakes that live on Honeymoon Island. They even swim in the salt water. So beware!
