Welcome to the workbench series. Today we will dive into the Honeywell Smart-valve 1st generation. We will discuss the operation and connection to the Indoor Fan Control (IFC). The 4 wire connector between the valve and the board provides 24V power to the valve, provides a 24v signal to the valve when the pressure switch closes, then supplies a 24V signal back to the IFC on the Electronic Fan Timer (EFT) wire once flame is proven.
