Hi Sam, so interesting seeing each of the 3 Hong Kong Disneyland Hotels. All so very different in design but equally amazing in their own right. I actually really loved those sleek modern lines in the Hollywood Hotel, very fresh and chic. x
Love HKD Hotel so much! The hotel band is definitely back, though they seem to play spontaneously. I caught them a few times coming and going from the park. And we sat in the exact same spot at Crystal Lotus! Maybe that's where they put all party of ones lol I had an amazing all vegan meal that they were more than happy to accommodate ahead of time :)
Hi Sam, enjoying your vlogs! My daughter and I are travelling to HK Disneyland next March. I see you are at the Dragon Wind breakfast buffet. Did you happen to see any cute dumplings or buns shaped like little pigs or animals? We don’t have time to do the character dim sum at Crystal Lotus but I saw a different video from last year showing some cute shaped dumplings and bbq pork puffs/buns at the Dragon Wind buffet breakfast? Thank you so much!
The Explorer is Tom from WDWNT’s fav Disney Hotel in the world. He just said that reviewing the new Fantasy Springs hotel. So thanks. I had never heard of it.
Because yours videos I've started to LOVE Duffy and Friends so much ! I really wanna go there but I'm anxious and I afraid to travel only by myself. I admire your vlogs and huge thank you for that trip because I can see places that I may never be 💛
Those corridor lights/lamps with the binoculars!!! I'm in love with this entire hotel! The red & green 'milk' bottles look like Yakult! I drink one every morning, it's loaded with the right bacteria for your digestive system! The music in the Hollywood Hotel really reminds me of the music in the Tower of Terror shop! Which would make sense, since it's both the same area and era! Also, it looked like they had a Goose plush/shoulder buddy and I desperately want it xD
In DLP we should have stopped to explore our hotel as well as some others, but we would head straight to the park in the mornings and wouldn't get back until after the fireworks. There's just so much to do and unfortunately what happens when it's a one in a lifetime trip 😢
XO sauce is expensive because it takes a long time to make and contains pricey ingredients: particularly the dried scallops, shrimp, ham and rice wine. Mmm
Really interesting to watch this series as I literally knew nothing about HK DL before this. I love that although you were traumatised by CookieAnn, you’re now wearing her on your head 😂 tbf that headband is very cute. I’m now going to be looking out for Duffy and friends merch in the parks.
Absolutely love the hotels there! As always your commentary is perfect! Food looks soooo good, I was discussing with my husband what I'd get from the breakfast buffet 🤣 love seeing your perspective!
So cool to see all the different types of hotels, they were all so lovely I think I would struggle to choose a favourite. And omg your interaction with Mickey was so cute ❤Are there any perks to staying onsite in a hotel?
Normally you make me smile. Seeing the band stand made me sad. It was an awesome part of the Grand Flo. They dumped it to sell more cocktails. They didn’t even need the space They could have integrated it into the bar and used it for lounge music in addition to the regular band.
So lovely to see you always have a conversation ready when meeting the disney characters in full costume. I can imagine it can be awkward meeting them especcialy because they can't talk. Well not the meeting is awkward, but the interaction without the talking
