I'm an American doing business in Shenzhen, and cross borders often into HK. Call me rare, hate me, call me a tratior, call me whatever you want, but after I seen that man catch fire, and after experiencing China, I am pro China. China has done a lot of things right, and the western media never highlights this. These people, goverment, and country has always treated me right. I want HK police to militarize their forces, adopt zero tolerance for the protestors by any means necessary, and free the city from them. Enough is enough. To Beijing, the leaders of China, the country that has the least amount of violence of any country in the world... Beijing and your leaders, do what must be done and end this... I think the world will understand and support you. I know I will.
The protesters/rioters are being used by America & by ccp. The cia(rumours in youtube) is paying them to ferment trouble for the ccp - used by cia. The ccp is refusing to take action so that these rioters/protesters can be a lesson to hk people. How? Read on. *A good China political insight to share:* _Why is China not doing anything to stop the riots in HK?_ Yang Wang Answered Nov 15, 2019 In the year of 1959, there was armed insurgency in Tibet, and Mao commented on this matter as “For Tibet situation, the more chaos, the better, the army can get trained, the normal people can get educated, more importantly provides enough reasons for the future counter insurgency and reform.” Now it is exactly the same situation in HK. The more chaos in HK caused by these rioters, the more normal people in HK will get educated that the “peaceful” protesters are actually stupid “terrorists”. When the city gets smashed (no traffic, no food, no jobs), the normal people will get educated that 'peace and bread' is the real “universal value”, rather than “democracy and freedom”. When the banks leave HK, university professors and scholars leave HK, tourists leave HK, mainlanders leave HK, the normal people will get educated that it was the hard working people, the tolerant environment, and the strong bonding to mainland China that supported HK’s prosperity. When the city is left in ruins, but the leaders of the riots are in Yale, in White House, in BBC giving speech, the normal people in HK will get educated that they were so fooled by those & their dirty secrets. When, after the riots, HK is no longer a shining star but a disgusting corner filled with bias and criminals, the whole of China will get educated “one country, two system” is not working, it’s not that our system is not working, but their system is not working. It is a great text book. In fact, it is a live example to show to all China, what would it be like if China is not under the leadership of the CCP. By that time, the people in HK will be holding flowers expecting to be a REAL part of China.
_"You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inert, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it."_

Did the PLA actually told C4 that was their implied message or was that something he made up to suggest solider clearing up outside their barracks was an imminent danger . Billy Y ... Just because BBC, CNN and Fox News suck and are biased, it doesn't mean ALL "western" media have the same view. Even in the UK and US, not all media take the same view as CNN and BBC ... You even said that yourself after watching this Channel 4 report. And that's forgetting all the other media outlets in the western world. The "west" generally means North America and Europe, so that's a lot of countries. How about media from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Ireland, Greece, Austria, Luxembourg, Czech Republic etc? ... They are all countries in the western world, and there are hundreds of media outlets in those countries. You'd have to have watched media reports from ALL "western" countries to be 100% sure that the "western media" can be generalised as biased or not showing both sides of the story. Just because the US and UK report in a certain way, it does not mean the entire western world takes the same view. In fact, many western countries are not fond of the US at all, and would rather not be associated with them. In the same way, if the Chinese media take a certain stance on an issue, it doesn't mean by default that all "eastern media" take the same view. The opinions broadcast by media outlets from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia etc are often very different from that of China's media. So again, just as the US is not representative of the "west", China is not representative of the "east" either ... It's well known that Japanese, Korean and Chinese media often take very different views on a wide range of topics, just as media in the western world often do not take the same view as one another. The bottom line is, there is no such thing as "western media" ... and there is no such thing as "eastern media" ... There are simply too many countries, too many media outlets, and too many differing opinions to realistically lump them all together under the condescending term "western media". Generalisations are never a good thing. If we are to call out media outlets on their false news or biased reporting, then we should be addressing them individually as corporations, rather than accusing an entire hemisphere's media of being responsible.
I have always supported protests and freedom of speech in Hong Kong, despite the fact it has largely enjoyed this until now, and i have no love for the CCP, but persistent use of violence and vandalism would turn anyone against them. And the outright and avid support and encouragement by western media with a clear corporate and pro-US agenda is disgraceful. I live in a country where violence and disruption of this kind would never be tolerated and would be met by a similar police reaction if not worst. The protestors are not able to walk a very sensitive line between protesting against CCP encroachment and safeguarding what they have enjoyed in the last two decades. They instead want this utopian fantasy of revolution and are driven partly by a western audience who do not live in Hong Kong and ignorant of international politics.
Thats what you get for blocking the roads and infiltrate the public area (hospital, mall, station, airport, etc). You guys protest against Government or against Hongkong citizen?
This is what happens when the protest get overridden by agendas and become a proxy war. In the end the city and the residents in HK suffer. Their demands not met, their finance took a hit, they lose investments, attraction, and in a way, future.
This seems to be the case all the time for demonstrations occur. Even if one supports the reasons of the protest it will not help the cause if it leads to anarchy and chaos. In France the so called Gillets Jaunes at first had strong support but when their members looted shops and destroyed cars and businesses public turned on them one french shop owner puts it "I am angry at high prices and the rule of elites at well but why are these people robbing me of my livelihood". This also furthers the argument for more repressive governments that protest and demonstrations and rights will lead to crime and decay and economic decline.
the difference is that gillets jaunes did not really have a purpose or an end goal. Not like in Hong Kong, where the end goal is universal suffrage. This is totally different. Their demands are clear in Hong Kong.
@@sammexp Yet they physically attack and intimidate anyone disagree with them (one died hit by bricks thrown by rioters and the other burned alive still in intensive care, they literally dosed him with gasoline and set him on fire during an argument) and now HK people call them the "black terror". Of course the candidate needs to be vetted by Chinese central government but that happens in almost all liberal democratic countries. Do you think Trump was not vetted before he became president? So HK rioters are being ignorant to say the least, then again you can see that from their behaviours.
The majority of the Hong Kong people want to get back to their daily life. Blocking road and vandalising MTR with violence has never been a solution but destroying their home and neighbour.
I‘ve said it in many videos. And here you see it: Majority of HK citizens are against the violent protest. In fact the minority of violent protester made the majority of peaceful democratic protester look bad in the international press.
Tell me: how much change has peaceful protest achieved in history? You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. But for the courage of these youngsters, HK citizens would probably have been submitted to Chinese rule already, which means they wouldn't even have the right to voice their opinion fir or against a protest.
@@antoniomarcos5321 Those youngsters are cowards, always avoiding responsibilites for their actions. Generations of Chinese sacrificed their lives to build our country, and as of today many are still willing to sacrifice for greater goods. By the way, Hong Kong is under Chinese rule, despite as a speical administrative region with a different system. And for your last point, unfortunately that's what the protesters have done.
