I was never in Honk!, but I got introduced to a lovey theatre/choir organization due to being invited to see Honk! by my 2 best friends. If it wasn’t for this show, I would’ve never been in such a wonderful place. My last show was My son Pinocchio and the whole time in rehearsals they all made call backs to this show and I got to pitch in knowing the whole show☺️💜✨👏🫶
I played dot in HONK jr and loved it. My friend played grayleg and killed it! I was so happy I got to work with her, Kong is one of the best plays I ever did. I loved being dot, ( honk was the nineth show I did)
I am playing the cat in this play! I really wanted her and I go her! She is mt favorite role I have EVER played. And the girl that played the cat in this play KILLED ITTTT! So did everyone else though!
I'm going for ida wish me luck! and my best friend is going for ugly but last year we did the little mermaid and the girl who played ariel was on holiday and she learnt the part over a weekend!!! She is so amazing
Got cast as Greylag for my middle school's performance. It's genuinely interesting to see the other interpretations of the character. I'm playing rather.. serious, while the geese here are very.. "fun". No hate, by the way. It's neat to see.
I have watch this so many times, my school is doing this musical this year, and I auditioned for Ugly. I get to find out what I get tomorrow! Edit: I GOT DOT!
I am Supper exited to do this at my school this year and guess what I GOT UGLY! My fist protagonist Edit: I am struggling finding good ideas for the role of ugly can anyone give me some good Ideas all help is appreciated?
Ok, I'm sorry to sound weird😅 but I was reading your comment and we're in the exact same situation (except for I got a different role) I think our rehearsals started at the same time, and in my production the Idas are double casted too
Ida didn’t do anything? She didn’t save them from the cat,the cat just gave up.and I agree ugly,(while he’s supposed to be a metaphor)shouldn’t have been king I was grace and mother swan and in my opinion she should have just kept the sash
I’m playing as Greylag and when I found that I was going to play as Greylag I was a bit upset because I didn’t want my first big role to be a boy (Not saying girls can’t play at boys and boys can’t play as girls) but I wanted to watch the full show Honk jr to see my role a bit more. So when I saw the girl play as Greylag that made me so happy and I knew that I wasn’t the only one. If this offended anyone I am sorry. That was just my opinion and story.
