At least that means we can possibly get the stretching back. Would be hilarious if they randomly replaced it with a wierd dance like in that one HoF edit instead. But eh, who knows.
I didn't like the V1 sword combo that much, although it's not as if I dislike it enough to not get her either. Overall I like the direction of V2 sword combo more, but it instead feels a lot more underwhelming compared to V1. I'm guessing I feel like this due to how short the V2 animation is compared to the first one but yea, I'm neutral on the change because of that. The HoV sitting pose however, is far superior to the V2 one and needs to come back.
I wish they could improve HoFi and HoO animation. Just look at Elysia HoHE, they just go all out for her animation. But currently they get criticized a lot that they don't have enough time for their animations
V2 snapping pose kinda feels lacking if u compare it to flamescion and hov snapping pose. Also i hate that they remove the part where kiana do hovs winning pose
@@higewashi No, there were definitely people complaining about even the fingersnap, simply because "it's not as epic as HoV's". That's why they emphasized it in v2 HoFin with sharper movements and powerful sound effect, but now I think the sword combo itself is underwhelming compared to the gun combo.
@@tsf9600 they didn’t emphasise anything visually though, it’s even less epic now. No special camera angle, she’s not facing the screen, and you can hardly see the animation through the mist.
I obviously have no idea what personality Kiana is supposed to have after becoming Herrscher of the End, but I really liked the stretch as a reference to the carefree Kiana prior to chapter 9 and the little lean she did at the end of Time Stop as a reference to Herrscher of the Void. Maybe v2 is better for gameplay purposes, but v1 had more personality. And honestly, if the v1 animations didn't fit Kiana's growth, they should've been replaced, not removed. I think they removed some good animations before mostly about the wing part.. those things give emphasis to her battle design and shouldnt be reduced unless it affects game performance on beta .
Is a trade off because while the timer is stopped during those long animations real time isnt. So after seeing it 100 times it could start bother people like elysia ultimate end that is so annoyingly long when you need to use the ult 4 times in 1 stage. That is why they also removed it from elysian realm when you win in that form and was a great change.
@@lucaskp16 if youre talking about the zoomins thats not what I am trying to point out.. its the actual combat pattern where the wings were removed making it looked like the time runner attack patterns. The only thing that separates those 2 are the wing adorements which in fact they should focus more.. again its not those zoom ins that you are talking about..
Not really. Kiana also has a ighters personality. White comet is not the only cannonical battle suit, she has always been serious when using knight moon beam before she even knew about herself being a herrcher

I wasn’t really a fan of the stretching, but I have to say,,,, v2 (especially the combos) looked pale in comparison to v1 :(( it looked a whole lot less intense. The victory pose is better though, love to see our tuna smile after all that she’s been through.
I think they could just change the pose, maybe like HoV kiana flick while zooming on her then the broken space. It'd be a nice call back and also badass Edit: turns out it's already the case, but instead of zooming on her back, maybe we can have a zoom on her front while flicking and then she turns around to break open the space with the sword. It'd be *chef's kiss* Edit 2: WHY DID THEY UNDO THE POSE WHEN ABSOLUTE TIME FRACTURE FINISHED??? IT'S GOOD AS IT IS!
they were forced to quit it because people were crying over it. and they can't replace it with new animations, making new animations take time and they don't have it, at most, it can be added in the future,

@@ezzyshian I think v2 is actually a separate model resembling what would an updated v1 looks like, which is very likely because the amount of required changes seem to be more than usual, so rebuilding one from sketch would be more efficient and keeping the v2 cleaner for the app to run. Moreover, the HoV-like pose itself has a “sword clipping through head” problem to solve, so the dev may want it fixed before adding it to the model.
I loved the improvements on the ULT and the win pose looks epic. The time stop finisher and the combo atks are kind of an F for me though I wonder wether it was the CN Community who possibly made them change it because from what I heard thet complained about stretching kiana too in their reviewbombs Either way I still love HoFin, but I feel like some parts lost here
The two changed animations are a massive letdown. They gave so much personality and now we have lost them. I get they cannot change the design that so many are complaining about, but the animations are NOT an improvement.

I actually really liked the V.1 of this Kiana. Seeing her being so laid back is very refreshing with the stretch and her taking a quick seat in her charge attack. I heard some players say "it doesn't fit her character" but I'd say it's the opposite. Seeing her act like this shows that Kiana is content with her journey and the person she has become. She has fulfilled all of her desires and can now continue forward towards a brighter future for everyone
Amidst the different thoughts about the new animation, it warms my heart to see that most of us agree that our tuna having a smiling winning face at 2:43 is on point.
They both almost move the same, except the sword combo and victory pose part. In my opinion V1 has better sword combo animation while V2 has better expression on the victory pose
When I first found out about this HoFi Kiana, the thing that stood out for me was that "stretch". I was wow'd by it and excited to pull this Kiana. The flex pose from the move/attack is too awesome!! So much personality! As well as the HoV pose as well. Badass. Well, you can probably guess how I feel now. I imagine some hardcore players/whales: I don't need the char to waste my time with sexy poses and animations, I just need them to get me my high scores lol. I know this isn't final? but if this is really what will become of HoFi, then when the survey comes along for her, it may be the first time I put down "disappointed" as my answer.
1. Wing effects were adjusted so there's more contrast between the solid and energy parts of them, and I think it's good. 2. Idle and ground combo look pretty much the same, no complaints there. 3. Aerial combo, I couldn't spot anything different aside from portal colors so they come out about even for me. 4. I kind of don't like how there's no purple time frac background effect for gun combo, without that filter the combo itself stands out less imo. 5. Sword combo is...ugh. Downgrade for me, it's just bland now. 6. Absolute TF got an *epic* gunshot echo and some better angles imo. That's definitely an improvement. 7. ATF ending is...uh. I guess we replaced the HoV Pose for the VD Ult pose? I couldn't tell because the particle effects obscured the model too much. 8. Solo Ult shows better wing detail and final explosion has more impact. It's a win. 9. Joint Ult adds a lightning blade extension when HoFin is preparing to finish. Looks much better now. 10. Wings + smile on win pose = WIN. So, overall? The effects are overall improved imo but V2 HoFin's animation updates actually hurt the coherency of the suit. V1 HoFin had personality by harkening back to the confident Kiana of early game, while still referencing iconic Kiana things. V2 HoFin lost the iconic HoV Pose for ah...something, because the particle effects obscure it. V2 HoFIn also lost the Bayonetta stretch (can you guys please stop calling it Yelan pose? WC was a walking Bayonetta reference and HoFin using that for an extra Bayo reference makes more sense imo) for a...generic fingersnap with little emphasis and blander HoFS ground combo. Yeah, I have mixed feelings. I like the effect upgrades except for the animation changes. Hope CN is satisfied, but who are we kidding, even if the critics like this the ones who *liked* V1 HoFin are just gonna get more vocal.
Without the stretching pose, it just lose a lot of unique for the combo. The V2 is more bland. Some having more effects, some less. They could have added more dmg animation like the baseball bouncing or multiple slashing when she is stretching. But no, MHY straight up remove all.
I don't care what the CN players think about Kiana's design, but the more I see of her the more I like it. She looks like she came to terms with everything and can be genuinely happy now. She's even using a baseball bat during one of her attack animations.
exactly, i think expecting her "final form" to be miserable and dramatic is hardly befitting of her character, i think she deserves to kill the baddies in style and happily with her friends.. the only CN criticism i agree with is that there shouldve been a nod towards himeko at least, but im fine with this

A nod to dudu, himeko, siegfried, fu hua, teri teri, sirin and then herself. These are all her teachers, or people that she "stole" moves from. Cause you have to remember that himeko isn't the only one who helped her. I understand wanting something. But really hof is practically an ode to himeko. Right now kiana is being kiana. She accepted being sirin as hof but now she's even "leaning" in to it. A lazy, smartass, neko kicking tuna. I like that i can see older movements from her older battlesuits but they are different still. Cause she changed alot but she's back to being herself. The difference shows that she's at the end of her journey, but she never forgets her roots.
It's actually not just CN players complaining it's a lot of global/sea players as well I agree with their criticism on HOo design but I like Kiana's design it reminds me of that time runner outfit
The addition of her wings in the V2 poses is a big improvement, I really like that. I really don't like the change to the sword pose and the time stop snap. I'd be willing to agree the sword pose would be fine to be changed overall, but what its been replaced by feels lacking. Not to mention it now completely lacks the throwing the sword into the fracture part of the animation. I really hope they make some improvements to this one before release for sure The time stop snap is such a weird change though. This suit has felt, to me at least, to be the Kiana that has truly, 100% accepted everything in her past, from Sirin, to Idiotka, to Flamescion, and now Finality. The suit has elements referencing each stage of her life and pays tribute to all of them. So...losing such an overt reference to Sirin feels kinda sad :( Anyways, I really don't get why people don't like Kiana and Mei's new suits. But that's just my opinion I guess /shrug
People don't like change from an established character. But the characters have to change if we want more story! I love the new battlesuits, they show the trio's growth ✨️
I wasn't a big fan of the stretching, I think the snap is a much nicer animation (though maybe it could use a special camera angle for it?). I'm sad that the little pose she did when ending absolute time fracture is gone though, it kinda reminded me of HoV's iconic pose :(
I don't know I loved the pose and I'm so sad they removed it... I will admit it does look a lot cleaner now but I wish they could've fit it in somewhere..
Don't forget they nerfed the effects and details. On the V1, you can see reality slowly cracking and turning purplish when Kiana throw her sword. Now it's just a simple crack. I like the snap, but goddamn the effects and details got butchered.
The stretching was what made her worth it for me. It was just such a random and casual thing to do before attacking, opposite to how HoS poses after combo, yet they both tell you of the confidence of the character. It's like taking away the "yatta" and the end of HoS combo. For the time stop area, not sure what they're conveying but either bg works, but again they took the personality of it out. Would be like removing the long windup on HoS ult star or Elysia's burst in/out poses because oPtimIzAtIon. Dude the timers are already stopped, that's as optimized as it gets. Go crazy on the personality! V1 also had better camera distance on ult, showing more of the ult finisher and the upside down rider kick prep. Only improvement in v2 is the win pose. :/
Aight, imma give my honest opinions regarding this, -Aerial air combo(the baseball bat one) v1 has slightly, and i do mean SLIGHTLY better effects -The Snap(the stretch replacement) could be good if they add a good angle and make the snap sound stronger and more impactful -The Absolute Time Stop start in V2 is amazing, but idk wtf is that ending -The Ults in V2 is better due to added details, like Kiana's wings having added parts or the Kiana sword attack in joint ult actually looks like it's a better atk than how it usually looks.
id rather have them improve the v1 with faster animations along with the optimizations on the ult in v2 and other small details rather than just removing them and replacing them completely, this totally feels like her character is lost, part of the hofin Kiana's character was being back to her old self but with a more matured personality that is much more full of life and just purely flexing but this v2 looks like a downgrade to that aspect. Mahn, I was way too hyped for this Kiana up to the point of looking for ways to farm those crystals and panicking on the thought of what if I didn't manage to save up enough crystals but now I feel a lot more demotivated in that aspect. Didnt expect this kind of change to happen at all. Really hope they bring back the animations and improve upon that instead of removing it
I COMPLETELY AGREE I BOUGHT CRYSTALS FOR THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE OF HER PLAYSTYLE AND ANIMATIONS AND IM LITERALLY DEMOTIVATED NOW THEY TOOK AWAY ALL OF HER THINGS AND EVEN THE PURPLE TIME FRACTURE I HOPE THEY BRING EVERYTHING THEY TOOK BACK AND IMPROVE IT INSTEAD

Just because kiana did the pose it automatically means it's "lewd" or "doesn't fit" her? Like y'all look at it. Without it doesn't feel so elegant nor beautiful. It's not about Kiana saving the world by being the Herrscher of Finality. It's about Kiana saving the world by being Kiana herself.
Nah bruh I really like the v1 cause it really made her combos look really cool and unique. I could understand like why the stretch pose but like the HoV pose like ??? I’m disappointed that they took it off the HoV pose, Like really? Hopefully they like add other animation instead of the quick snap at the end of the timefraction. But regardless I still think the v2 is cool. I’m just sad the HoV pose is gone🥲
I've seen people commenting that CN community disliked Kiana's cool poses. Well, then CN community should have her without cool poses. I hate that they took it away for everyone, she feels so generic without the poses, just sword swinging.
I like that the wings are now part of her appearance on the bridge. I never had a problem with her pose per say (maybe they could have had it lead into the sword strike and snap a little better) and I'm not sure how I feel about it being taken out. All in all though, I like how Herrscher of Finality is developing.
I really enjoyed the small pose she take when certain attack. It’s like the culmination of everything she was. She didn’t look away from her past but decide to embrace it. However I understand that the V.2 feel smoother. But I think sometime cool factor should take over gameplay, specially if the end is truly approaching and that is her last battlesuit.
That strech is for me the unique move to distinguish her as a unique valk. Removing it definitely makes her just a generic, carbon copy of other valks moveset that has no distinctive move.
I really want them to return her sword waving with a dancing posing, It was showing how strong, cheerful, and confident she is. I don't care what the CN players saying, To me it's more than fanserves it's kiana's Identity

@KRISTORIS Channel idk, beyond replacing 2 lengthy animations with shorter, snappier ones, her regular animations also feel smoother & quicker Really feels to me like they didn't want Kiana to be wasting any second in the endgame modes

Shame that we lost the pose. That was what convinced me to pull for her. Unless Kiana gets a really good gacha deal like HoO's gear then my crystals will only be for HoTr and HoO

V3 is gonna delay again, because of nerf so much on Kiana’s basic attack and aerial attack animation. I’m sure too much is gonna get complain even I gonna complain about that. It’s too hard for me to watch. V3 is gonna change that back to V1.
It's really sad that they changed stretching combo attack to a lame finger snap. It's overused and its already iconic on HoV and HoFs, HoFin snap doesn't even look that cool. They should bring it back with a polished animation in my opinion.

V1 looks better it’s a shame. You could look at her pose showoff during charged and ult, now it’s just something boring, she doesn’t even pose during the snap fingers
Most combo move in v1 have better extra effects that give better astheic looks. I have to also mention that v2 have better victory pose and better model
I think the snap needs better camera angles and effects but overall, the animation is quicker than the pose so I think that’s good. Didn’t like the replacement animation for the HoV pose attack though.

The sword combo in V2 could improve a lot by zooming a little and making kiana gigle a little before the slash and the finisher of time stop could be changed back to HoV pose but changed a little so it can be fast and smooth
hoping there will be a V3 animation...... that stretching pose was the one that makes me want to roll for her.... but now, she's just like flamescion but with white vfx............. thanks for helping me saving my crystal
If they wanted to remove the stretch and chill sitting animation, they could have replaced it with other poses. I suggest using classic Kiana poses such as her leaning on her wings while eating a Pocky stick (a throwback to Reburn animation) and her carrying a bat on one hand while biting a pizza toast (a nod to Cooking With Valkyries). Those poses should accentuate her fun personality and a celebration of her finally finding her true self again.
tbh, i'm prefer the v1, some people arguing thats not fit Kiana personality. I mean wtf guys hoyovers who's the created Kiana and they was really know who is she and her personality than anyone.
It is hilarious because V1 to me seemed like Kiana finally being somehow content and fitting for the place she is in mentally, where V2 does not feel like Kiana at all, but more like some mook Valkyrie in fancy dress trying to pretend to be Kiana.
They spend about 20 chapters to develope the optimist but naive tuna into HoF, a warrior with strong resolve, who does not mock or play around in the middle of a battle. To me V1 HoFi is just throwing all her character development away. I just can't see how mhy can change her character back to the origin within 1 chapter. I am not going to complain if mhy decides to stick with V1 but I will just stop spending on this game and thats it.

Nah, those are some cap changes honestly. They removed so many animations that made it so unique to Kiana's personality. Now she is like a typical character with no unique moves or anything💀
They removed the Kiana's yawning pose after being influenced by community of idiots who are claiming ''it's not fitting Kiana's character." Apparently, those same idiots forgot Kiana's backstory, that she's a lazy, carefree character who cares less about studying at school unless if it's fighting. And...they forgot about White Comet. She does make that pose if you have her standing in your Hyperion entrance.
I like the added effects on V2 and the expression at the victory pose. But man, removing the stretch and the lounge kinda removed the personality on the moveset. Idk the implications why there were there but it was kinda nice to see Kiana's more playful side again in comparison of her mature side with Flamescion. If they gonna go with the snap with the V2, at least, make it more impactful.

Biggest improvements here has to go to the sword combo (they literally brought back and kept the finger snap from HoV and HoFlamscion) and they removed that pose she does in V1 thankfully because honestly that didn’t feel like kiana at all so that change was huge for me And the win pose, she smiles and seems so happy again which has been a long while since we got Flamescion and even before that I think Edit before I get absolutely flamed in the replies: I was perfectly fine with V1 Finality, especially the pose during combo atk I did see CN complaints and I don’t entirely agree with the complaints. I still welcome the v2 changes tho, some will think the snap is overused, I don’t. It’s iconic to kiana which is why I’m biased towards the snap being used again Nothing we can do about it, CN always comes first for hoyo as per usual lmao
I honestly thought the stretch was the cringiest shit I've seen in Honkai when first I saw it, just felt super out of place to me. I usually show it to some friends when honkai gets something new and for this one they all said "so.. she is just posing? lol", and yea she really is; it was so much and so unrelated to "combat" that it felt like it was taking away from everything else. I also like the win pose more now too, seen some people on reddit complain about her being "too happy" ?? On the other hand I liked the "super space whatever" finisher that they also removed with an overlay so rip. Idk why people are so upset about this though (both V1 and V2), keep seeing some really heated arguments and opinions.
I didn't love her stretching pose, but I didn't mind it. My only negative reaction to it was because it'll probably make the valk feel awkward and clunky to play. So them getting rid of it was kinda sad as they can just make the animation more fluid and less wonky. That being said though, why is her snap after time stop completely gone? I'm also surprised that they didn't touch her color palette at all because she literally looks like Time Runner still.
For me in my own opinion V2 HoFi after they remove some of the moveset like the stretch and some part of the v1 it doesn't feel like a herrscher anymore its more like basic battlesuit with flashy Ult less animation the reason why they gave her absolute time fracture is to appreciate the animation. I think if they keep the V1 animation combine with V2 it would be better.
