There is no Sampo. Since the begining they were Sparkle in disguise, that's why "he" called Firefly March. Sparkle never saw March, she just knew about a girl traveling with the Trailblazer

In the golden hour you can find somebody about to jump from the bridge near the clockie statue. The conversation indicates that when you die you just wake up, and that you can rejoin the dream and wake back up multiple times. I'm not sure if Firefly's position as a "stowaway" or the memory zone meme that killed her creates a special case or not, but I hope she's still alive in some shape or form. It sounds like her irl sucks and she basically lives in the dream to avoid experiencing the limitations of her mortal body, so waking up and not being able to enter back into the dream could be tragic in and of itself. I am eager to see what they do with it but I hate that I have to wait until at least the next patch to get any more info, because I am pretty torn up about it and have no closure lol. If she's really just dead in all senses and never coming back, that's kinda boring storytelling wise, and a huge bummer. Also this is kind of a tangent but, I hate adventurine, he's freakin creepy dude. The way he met me in my room and wouldn't leave despite repeated requests, and expects me to help him out without giving me any information. How could they possibly make me want to pull for him in the next patch?

In real life, both of them did not die, but just fell into a coma and moved somewhere, because there was no longer a soul in the body, so to save them, I'm afraid we have to go even deeper.

me too I’ve tried searching for summaries and not a single one has showed up

Alright I'll give it my best shot (Btw information is given as we discovered it, not in chronological order) As the express is taking off, we fall asleep and end up in a dreamscape of the Reverie with a person known as Acheron the Galaxy Ranger (Galaxy Rangers seem to be their own faction, sort of like the Knights of Beauty). She leads us out of the memory but tells us that we remind her of someone she used to know, and that red dialogue is very important. Then she stabs us and we wake up. We arrive at the Reverie and have an issue because the Nameless got their invitation before the Trailblazer joined them and the hotel won't just let us have Dan Heng's room since he isn't there. Then Aventurine (Part of the IPC) shows up and ends up helping out because he thinks it will be profitable for him. Sunday (owner of the hotel I think, or just a really important person in Penacony) and his popstar sister Robin get involved and Trailblazer does not get kicked out. Then there's little cutscene of Himeko and Welt, where she tells him that in their invitation there was an encoded message saying "Witness the impossible of the realm of dreams, Find the legacy of the Watchmaker, Father of Penacony, and thus the answer to the question: Why does life slumber?" We go to our room and Aventurine is there because it was his room before it got transferred to MC, and we have a conversation where he asks us to work with him. Acheron shows up in the middle of the conversation and gets Aventurine to leave, before leaving us to enter the Golden Hour, a dreamscape where it is always one minute before midnight. We also get a little cutscene after this with Aventurine and Dr. Raitio, where we find out there's something going on with stones the IPC has. Once in the Golden hour, we meet Firefly after shes been accused of being a stowaway, Gallagher lets us go, and Firefly offers to take us on a tour as thanks for our help. While exploring, Sampo shows up, sends us through a dream of Trash Can Belobog, then leaves. Firefly tells us she is indeed a stowaway, and asks to takes us to her secret base at the dreams edge. On the way there, MC sees Clockie (a supposedly fictional character) begging for help because someone is going to die. We offer to help and Clockie is surprised we can see him but repeats that Misha (the Bellboy from the hotel) is going to die if someone doesn't help him. We agree to help and get emotion changing gameplay mechanics to convince the gang surrounding Misha and Acheron (She was there before we arrived for unnamed reasons) to leave. After that Firefly takes us to her base, tells us she is terminally ill, and from what I can gather, someone told her they might be able to cure her if she helped them discover the Watchmakers Legacy. Then we have a sweet moment and take a selfie. As we're leaving the Golden Hour with Firefly, We get stopped by Sampo who turns out to actually be a shape-shifted Sparkle (member of the Masked Fools). She knocks us and Firefly out and we wake up in what Sparkle refers to as "the real Dreamscape". It seems to be a memory, and as we go along white writing and a voice (90% sure it's Misha) tells us a story about someone being abandoned by someone/something named Mikhail. We end up trapped in a room where going through doors will only take us back to the same room, then a monster called Something Unto Death tries to kill us, but Black Swan (a memokeeper from the Garden of recollection) saves us. We wake up in our room and Black Swan takes us back to the express crew. We have a conversation with them where Black Swan tells us Penacony might be sinking, then we go with Black Swan into another Dreamscape. We end up meeting Acheron in the dream, then we are reunited with Firefly who dies a few seconds later, by being stabbed by Something Unto Death, which then just leaves. We find out that Firefly was in this dream with someone else who most likely set her up to get killed. Then we find Sam (a Stelleron Hunter) where Firefly died. We fight him then Black Swan teleports us away while Acherons still fighting. In our new little dream pocket we find Aventurine who asked Black Swan to take us to him. He tells us that Acheron is actually an Eminator not a Galaxy Ranger, but he doesn't know which Aeon she is an Eminator for, and she killed Duke Inferno (head of the Annihilation gang). He then asks us to go with him to see the "Truth". Once we agree he takes us to a room where we find Robin dead, having been killed by Something Unto Death. Then the scene switches and we see Sunday talking to Robin who turns out to actually have been shape-shifted Sparkle the entire quest. Sunday tells Sparkle to get lost then says something about bringing someone to Justice, then the quest ends. Kay that was really long, but I hope this helps!
