Honkai Star Rail Boss Fights are INSANE! 

Honestly the most crazy part about the Cocolia fight is how many times Garnt actually synced with the music.

Knowing that Connor would still skip these cutscenes kills me inside

"Is that Dan Heng's brother!?" has the same vibes as "That's probably Captain Hitsugaya's older brother!" 💀

Star rail doesnt do anything new, but what it does do is execute to perfection. The music hits so hard and elevates a normal story to goosebumps.

I love this game so much. It never gets old seeing everyone’s reactions to these moments. 😭

I started the game exactly 5 days ago and i beat Phantylia yesterday and man was that FUCKING HYPE. 11/10 cutscenes man.

Honkai Star Rail is the peak of chaoticness and comedy. I love this game so much.

Star Rail's boss fights hit just way harder than in genshin, everything is built towards that moment.

Funny story, my game files were corrupted so when I played this fight for the first time (and a bunch more) the music and sound FX cut out part of the way through this fight. It was very confusing, can't believe it took me a month or so to think to verify game files XD

I started playing the game to check it out, not caring about the story at all. But after that first boss fight with Cocolia... I made a 2nd acc just to sit through the story once again. Worth it. XD

Honkai's Boss are always ridiculous. Even the barest minimum or weaker ones are capable of giving even Archons a hard time if they get stranded in Teyvat

Imma be honest, I was playing Yarilo-VI quest climax at 6am after I had barely any sleep since there were gonna be finals in my uni and the sheer amount of hype I felt while this whole sequence can only be matched by last eps of Gurren Lagann Man, Honkai teams sure know how to make you feel things you did not expect from a goddamn gacha game

Honestly, hoyo makes amazing songs to fit with whatever content is on screen, especially if sth significant is happening and especially if it has honkai in its title. Just look at ths and all the honkai 3rd end of arc animations. Absolute bangers. Even got yusuf back for samudrartha after his amazing performance of regression last year

I haven't really played many turn based games before this because I felt they were boring. What I didn't realize is that it allows them to be much more seamlessly cinematic because they don't have to pull control away from the player to do so.

I didnt have a healer for the Phantylia fight and... you can probably guess how that went.

I beat Phantylia on my third try, with Jing Yuan in the red, thinking that I failed to used Gepard’s ult in time to clutch it. Hoyo really had me thinking I lost the fight with the enemy at 1% 😭

I just beat phantylia, what a battle, I'm so happy to finally have a hoyo game where I'm caught up with the story (still stuck in inazuma with genshin and I never started impact 3rd when it would have made sense so now I'll propably never get into that game which is crazy sad because it looks so good!)

Y'all fighting about star rail > genshin or genshin> star rail like your hoyo will reward you for your service. They are 2 different games with different playstiles from the same company, get a grip and enjoy both while you can because one day both stories will end.

The full dopamine feeling when actually having DHIL before phantiliya then using his ult after the resonance power feels like dopamine rush into my veins

I didn't have imaginary either, I just used my bladie team and switched out pela for Clara for that extra damage and then beat her 2nd try (to be fair she was lvl 50 for me but still, tough fight but I pulled through)

I remembered battling Cocolia and Phantylia. This is exactly what I was feeling. Goosebumps all the way! I was silently screaming and punching in the air tho since it everyone was a sleep haha. I got really invested into HSR. The story, the music, the boss sequences everything has no business going this hard. I love it!!

After revisiting the story, i still cant get it why dan heng didnt go full Inhibitor Lunae mode. All of the fights could end faster and maybe cocolia can be stopped from using the stellaron. :(

I got semi-spoiled on the tingyun reveal but I still love the wsy they did it! I always knew something Was up with her, i just thought she was secretly a huge bitch, but her design is one of my favourites in the game so I started coming around to her personality too up until this reveal.

Genshin has some cutscenes that go hard as fuck but the bossfights themselves are nothing like this from what I've seen

What i love about cocolia boss fight is the fking music. Its not the boss’s music, its the main character’s music. It makes u feel badass like the mc. Whereas genshin is just the boss’s music, and as a gamer it just feel the same cause ive fought so many other bosses. The best part is the change from instrumental to vocal, cause if u just repeat wildfire on its own its just gonna get repetitive and boring. But the constant changing music kept the hype up and made it so fking good.
