The community went to the damage number obsessed path, which drove everyone into artifact farming addiction. Genshin is very exploration focused, it's either everyone got tired, lost time to play, or just too focused in character building. Unlike before when you just slap random artifacts and explore.

it is also due to how enemies scale with your dmg "Exploration" often blocked by 'kill all these enemies before you open chest' vice versa to the point that you have to spend like good 15 mins+ for diminishing return 200 monni and some t1 exp stone which cause player to spam artifact instead since it has better value

I'll have to disagree. The first three months after Genshin was released is probably the worst time I had for the game. Too many things are un-optimized and not user-friendly. The peak is probably during the Inazuma period. Now there is just too much content it's a bit annoying to deal with some of the explore stuff sometimes.

If you went into the other artifact room you could find HI3 Himeko's broken blade and when you interact with it using HSR Himeko there's a dialogue that is sad to read.
