The stories are so well made. I remember laughing about the trash cans and dumpsters, crying when I finished the short quest of To The Faint star, and gasped when I saw the Bloodborne reference. Honkai Star Rail is such a great game that anyone will be sucked into its greatness.
I think the trash can interactions is targeted toward people who use to play rpg games because we always check the trash can for items lmao. That why Dan Heng said "there's no turning back once you've walked down this path". I don't know about other but I felt exposed with the interactions LOL

There a some details in Astral Express: 1) After each Arc,March's wall of pictures will be updated as well with your current journey 2) By changing your destination...the scenery from Parlor Car also change depending which destination you are on
The OST that plays when you get on the express around 2:10 , god I can’t help but get a melancholy and sad feeling throughout my entire body 😭😭. It’s such a good OST, and the team did such a banging job with this game lol, can’t wait for more content!

it's because hsr is a new game and the lipsync is made with ai which wasn't available back then with genshin (and it's easier to implement features at launch, unlike a 2.5 yo game)

yep, different group working on it. also according to internal comment by ceo, genshin is more like a side project that got unexpectedly too popular. their main project is still the honkai series, their bread and butter. this is not to say they are slacking off on genshin production. it's just they are more familiar with honkai series and how to make a honkai series good, since they already set up the world over THREE games (honkai academy, honkai impact, honkai star rail) while genshin falls under the same hoyo multiverse. it's a little further away from honkai.
Okay people, hear me out. What if, at some point in the story, we could choose between joining Stellaron Hunter or staying with Astral Express?? Imagine we join the Stellaron Hunter to save or protecting a certain someone and we going the Mei's route lmao. That would be exciting and hilarious at the same time. P.s: I told my friend about this idea and told him that I would like to join Stellaron Hunter yet my friend insist he will stay with Astral Express, we kinda argue a little and it was funny to see his reaction about my idea lmao 🤣

This game manages to be funny and then epic when it needs to.I love it so much.I'll not spoiler that much but the Jarilo quest ending is really good and the song makes it feel even more intense
my favorite scene in this entire game is definitly when they found the planet's stellaron and the MC said his iconic: "Its trailblazin' time" , and then proceeded to trailblaze all over the stellaron, effectively saving the planet from the evil ice

I swear when i first got to belobog, first thing i did too was spend like 30 min to run through the entire town just to witness all the unique dialogue of the trash cans. hoyoverse did good on all the little things in this game
I fell in love with this game instantly! I love how some dialogue options are just the game poking fun at cliches in the genre! I got Himeko pretty early on. She is really good! Also, her ultimate animation is pretty badass, just sipping on tea as she calls in an orbital strike...

Honkai Star Rail is Funny , they improve so much from Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact , but my favorite thing when watch your video bwaap . There are so many details in this game's dialogs. If you don't pay enough attention, you can miss on big things or small precious details. Just watching this video, I discovered dialogs I never heard and even parts of cinematics I didn't see because I didn't take the same path
You hit the nail on the head Bwaap. This game has massive undertale vibes, and I would guess that the team took bites out of the legend Toby Fox when making interactions.
Fun fact if you have the time/chance and talk to a certain herta around the space station you can touch the blue bubbles and they have little stories that are quite entertaining. The one in the hospital wing thing is really cute.
I love how unhinged our main character is. Some of the dialogue options are genuinely concerning, telling me that mc has some level of psychopathic tendencies
