highly doubt he's alive with the literal closure in heaven with Dr MEI that we got in chapter 35. Would love to see an alternate hsr version of him tho

@@mrhelllp kinda? HI3rd an alternate reality of ggz, kinda how visual novels have different routes. The base lore is still the same with many hints to ggz in hi. Basically the entire cast is taken over from there unlike HSR which only has a handful of "recycled" characters and completely new story (aside from Welt)

The way the story is told is no different from retelling the story of 13 Flame Chasers. 3. The 2 "bearers" are origin and end, symbolizing the herrscher of origin Mei and the herrscher of finality Kiana. 4. honkai world diva music can be heard from 1:30 to 3:06. 5. Befall and nightlow also there but its too short to hear clearly.
Listen VERY close to the piano in the background when Acheron says "Because of a lie." It is playing a slow, sad rendition of the theme when Mei was fighting Kiana on the roof of the hospital.
The reason why they used "sky" for supposedly "void" is cuz in cn version of HI3 the chinese characters they use for void is literal "sky" that's why when i was still playing HI3 in chinese language i thought the whole time that siren/kiana is the "herrscher of sky" not until I re-download HI3 this year and set the text to english lmao

Acheron isn't Mei, she's Dr. MEI. The reason I believe this is because I think Izumo is parallel to Mu from the Previous Era, only with Mei fighting either alongside or instead of Kevin instead of researching ways to fight the Honkai. So of course Dr. MEI's Kiana was Kevin, but we don't know if this Yayi and Kevin were that close. Still, Izumo, like Mu, forged the 12 Sentinels similar to the Divine Keys. But her fellow-warriors were corrupted by the Honkai energy of the Kami, and turned against her after they defeated the Kami of Corruption. Izumo reforged the shattered Sentinels into _Origin_ , with Yayi becoming Mei, and _End_ , with Kevin becoming that in order to steal the Authority of the End, so no true Kami of the End would manifest. Then Kevin waited for Mei to come for him. They clashed, and both _Origin_ and _End_ were shattered. Mei fought for so long, it was all she basically knew to do at this point, with no one fighting beside her. She sensed the threat of IX, and used her own power to reforge _Origin_ as _Life_ , and attacked. But a formless IX could not be slashed, and Mei and _Life_ got changed instead, into Acheron and _Naught_ . So now Acheron continues to wander, seek, and fight. And if the timelines for Izumo and ancient Earth lines up, that means that Acheron is over 50,000 years old, making her experientially older than any surviving Flame-Chaser. But then, I think she'd trade that for a possibility for Izumo to have its own Elysia. In the meantime, she's looking for Life (Seele, Elysia) and Finality (Kiana).
