No charger in the box is even more unacceptable than it is with Samsung phones, because it's almost impossible to find an Honor competible fast charger.
@@BenetrixFTW Yeah, it's a stupid region thing, because in places where the Magic 6 Lite sells, their biggest competitor is Samsung who also won't include a charger, but that's not the case for the X9b.
My expirience: I got the Magic6 Lite and I'm happy with it. The speaker is not silent, it's loud enough. The camera is good, it's good in hand but it's pretty big (I had a 5.5 inch phone before) and its probably gonna take a while untill you get used to it. One downside is it doesn't have an Aux, so you can't plug headphones in it, but get a Bluetooth ones and you're fine. Another downside is that if you don't have a honor charger, it won't charge at a maximum capacity. I charge it with a 33W xiaomi charger and the phone pulls the minimum electricity of the charger (2000mAh) instead of the maximum electricity (6000mAh), and it took me 160 minutes to charge it from 0% to 100%... I guess adapters differ from one another and untill I try a original honor charger that should charge the phone from 0 to 100 in less than an hour, I cannot confirm anything. All in all it's a good phone with no scary downsides, and I'm happy with it.
@@hopelesscase8667 This phone only supports 35 watt max charging ...No 66 will do magic ...With 30 watt original honor charger phone takes a pretty 90 minutes to full charge ...So 90 minutes is the minimum time to charge this phone
Looks a decent budget phone that needs to come down a bit in price. Its launched at 349 pounds in the UK (with some freebies admittedly) and at that price its to close to the pixel 7a and OnePlus nords tbh. If it drops down to around 289 then i think its a good option and a Motorola killer for a budget phone.
Funny how the HONOR X9b launched in the Philippines only costs 16,999 pesos equivalent to around 237.49 pounds. Anyway it's similar to Magic 6 Lite, the major difference is the battery capacity. X9b has 5800mAh.
Who would have thought that we do indeed see a snapdragon SIX gen 1! The last SD 6XX Chip is about 4 years old by now. I honestly thought that Qualcom has given up on this chip tier. Which had been a real shame because my Nokia 7Plus with its SD 660 from 6 years ago is still an amazing daily driver with great battery life. The 600 tier is simply amazingly efficient.
I'm really interested to see what will come with the Magic6 Pro, I'm aware that the previous pro version was a banger! I had the Magic5 Lite, absolutely lovely. And now I'm rocking a Honor 90. Again, these phones are very well put together.
@@newphonexp honor 90 is the first phone ever to have 3840 Hz high frequency display to avoid hurting user's eyes at night or for low light use, that's why is better than any phone
That is some useful info. One of my last phones was a Huawei that I had for around 4 years. The Honor version of it was already popular in other part of the world when I got it.
Am always a fan of the tech mostly of phones but i found your channel 😅, and you always funny Tech spurt 😁, i find myself laughing when am watching the unboxing 😁,
I bought a oneplus 11 and then sent it back after a week of use, i just thought idk what I've paid so much money for, it doesn't do anything special. Looking for the best midrange phone to get now, I have no use for a flagship phone
'... finding screen guards and cases are proving to be a little difficult ...'. I like the look and sound of this, but not being able to find a full case is a dealbreaker.
@@eattherich9215 on that note I managed to find a really good case. There's no screen protectors unfortunately. Best bet is the silicone type that comes pre-installed on the phone
Does it have physical real proximity sensor or a software one? Those Chinese brands and lower end Samsung have been skimping away with physical sensors lately.
Charger compatibility doesn't make sense to me. You should be able to just plug any phone into the same brick and charge its maximum speed. I bought a fast charger for my xiaomi phone and realised it charged every device I had quickly... Except for my phone
Yeah. Apparently there are several charging protocols and most bricks do not support all of them. If you have a huawei charging bricks tho they use same protocols as honor so if you can't find a honor one can get a huawei one and should be fine. Don't know about xiaomi tho. Never had one of those but as far as I know all their model still come with a charge in the box.
My main complaint with Chinese skins like MagicOS is that they don't allow you to customise the MaterialYou. All my Google apps got stuck with a brown tint on the menus and buttons simply because my wallpaper was red.
@Azu10157 Right? Every time I read comments on a budget phone review, it is full people complaining because it doesn't have features of 2x or 3x more expensive phones.
X9b and this, apart from names, are they built different though? I'm quite surprised you didn't mention the sturdy nature of this specific model, in Malaysia they literally advert it by bashing it against nails, tarmac and stuff, because deep inside, we all know it's an outdated spec table weight, perhaps a spare hammer now. Well, Chris if you read this, please do a durability test, I'm curious, you don't have to take my words for it, search for Honor X9b and it will show some torture procedure of it that might gore you up, could your Magic 6 lite withstand the BDSM of mobile phone? 🤔
Anyone else have slight ghosting on screen? Eg if i load google , youtube etc for a split second ill see my app icons on the background of what i load. Very annoying
Anyone bought this phone yet ? 😮how is battery life so far Price here in Bulgaria is 350euro Is it worth it 😮 I saw it the other day in store, camera looks little bit week ...no sure if got proper settings. Anyone bought it , let me know . Thanks
I got this 2 days ago and its been horrible due to fact i cant get any earphones work in the c port . Tried adapters but theyndont work for what i need to use it for . I want to send it back
I said it before and I repeat it again: OEMs should stop making curved screen phones as the hype is over, not to mention they’re not practical. The only reasons why OEMs still make them is because aesthetically look nice and because they can of course.
What is the highest resolution you can get on the new honor 6 lite. On youtube while using the 2022 model of the same make I could only reach 1024 resolution. What is it on the new model while watching RU-vid? Thanks
1080p is the usual on magic 6 lite. I have found 4k on very very rare videos 1 in 10. But the screen is very crisp & bright so won't have much of problem
This packaging and presentation is garbage. Who do they think they are?? Apple? Google? Samsung?? They should be giving a case, charger and dongle in the box. Also that curved display is kinda gross, to each their own though. Just 1 speaker?????
@@dreamboy9198 oh and you don't get a charger with it you meedcto buy that Separately its 30 uk pounds and you need to get that one because other chargers will not work. 🇬🇧
So I got the phone a few weeks after release. I got a tablet with it free & a discounted charger from honor. Yes I agree you should get a charger for free it's ridiculous. But I got one for less then a fiver. Tablet, charger & phone just over 300 quid really wasn't a bad deal.
So i have a chance to get magic 5 lite in couple of days,is magic 6 worth the wait.I'm not into gaming or camera's just internet browsing. If someone can answer this please 😁
Honestly u better getting the magic 6 lite it's has better overall stats to 5 lite. Which would defo be the sticking point for a future device u want to keep & use longer. So yeaah u better picking magic 6 lite as it genuinely is better then last year's model
