What I appreciate about Honor , Vivo, Huawei, One Plus, and Xiaomi is they always give the hardware 100% and give you everything in the box and full value for your money
Yet still people will buy Samsung for their "software" even tho it looks like a brick,it doesn't have the best hardware,no charger or case in the box....and it's way more expensive like overpriced for real ! I'm using the Vivo x100 Ultra as my main device here in Europe and it works flawlessly, don't be afraid of chinese ROM's always get your best product for that ammount of money, don't pay only for the brand's name ;)
Okay that's a beautiful phone. I don't really care about the thinness but it's beautiful. Personally up until now I have been of the opinion that Hauwei made the most beautiful foldable with Vivo a close second. But I think Honor might have just taken the top spot.
Just to give you an update on the Honor Magic v2 price.....I just bought one (yesterday) on the honor website for £1000!! It's currently at £1199 but, if you click on the coupon to subscribe to their emailing marketing, you get an additional £200 off. That is £999!! I couldn't resist. I couldn't make my mind up with either this or the xiaomi 14 ultra but, I wanted to venture into the foldable world of phones. I'll get the 14 ultra in January, why? Because that camera to me is the very best allround camera on any smart phone, period! Good video and can't wait to see the comparisons as a new viewer. Keep up the good work fella. 👍🏿
@@Felix21411 holy shit!! Thats awesome. But my point about one ui being more optimised specially for pen users is still apt. Although I hope honor does catch up. Does honor sell their pen separately?
@@mokisan yes, separately from what I know, but I've seen reviews for the V2 where it was included...probably a reviewer pack. I don't own one and will not for a while. I have both the Magic 5&6 pro and not really a big fan of foldables given the worse cameras and some features like 3d face unlocking. Cheers !
I'm really thinking about pulling the trigger on purchasing one of your foldable phones, but I was wondering whether you have any way of a spit payment over like 24 months so I don't feel so guilty paying so much for a phone ha
I find the octagonal shaped camera module horrible. Vivo's round camera module looks so much sleeker. The main advantage that the Magic V3 has over the X Fold 3 Pro is its thinness but also its unfolded screen which is larger in width (74 mm compared to 72.5 mm). Otherwise the X Fold 3 Pro is better for cameras and especially for the software (Origin OS is much superior to Magic OS).
It's really hard to choose between the 3. vivo x fold 3pro , honor magic v3 and the xiaomi mix fold 4. In paper the vivo fold x3 is the best, when it comes to the design definitely the Honor maximum v3
It looks amazing! I originally wanted to "upgrade" from my first foldable, the Z Fold 5, to the 6 but then stumbled upon your channel and now waiting for the Honor V3 ordered from your shop! Leaving lazy Samsung after buying their phones since the S3. & Thanks for being so responsive with regards to the order!
Many users of the Magic V2 had massive heating problems, while calling or using mobile data via 5G. After 20.minutes the phone overheated with warnings and the display gets dark... @AverageDad can you make some tests with the V3 regarding that? Thanks 💪
I really want this, but with such a good deal on the V2 I'm undecided. Will the V3 be worth the extra cash? And is it worth waiting for the UK version, or order from China? I've read somewhere that some China version phones don't have smart watch connection. Will this have everything or missing UK features? Thank you and great video!
Please reviews deeply the camera and recording performance like the zoom capabilities at 4k60 fps while the vivo x fold 3 pro can max zooming 10x. And do the macros photography, zooming level capabilities photography 3.5 x 10x until 100x. So i can decide which the best overall performance and photography.. thank you
My V2 just packed in. After 12 months. Looks like a faulty touch panel. Also it's a shame I couldn't trade it in for anything. I think this is the only drawback. Samsung and apple have stronger trade in programs...I guess my fault for buying CN
Beautiful designs magic V3 is skinny but Vivo x fold 3 pro battery capacity more bigger , 100 watt charger, Zeiss cam systems 50 mp 50 mp 64 mp, origin OS ❤
My v2 has heating problems, as do my friends' v2s. Fast charging to 50% and then using the phone feels dangerous. I let it cool down for about 5 minutes before using. If I use 5G, my phone turns into a little heater. If I game, I never do it over 30 minutes with low settings. If not, the phone gets extremely hot. I really hope these issues are resolved on the v3.
waiting for the Vivo X 3 Fold v Honor Magic V3 batle of the giants, the global version might be a xmas prezzie to myself as Android Auto (and a couple of other discount giving health apps) have become quite important. Living with the Fold 6 (a surprise birthday present) but it does feel like a bit of a compromise in comparison.
It's the best foldable for 2024 so far when it's comes to paper considering $700 extra for the global version, but the Honor magic v3 when the design hands down
Thanks for the content! Would be great to also see a Software comparison. Since Samsung is known for their more mature foldables software, it wouldn't be fair to just compare the hardware.
Thank you for this video! Is the "Honor Magic V2 Pen" on your Store the pen for the Honor Magic V3 as well or did Honor release a new pen for the Honor Magic V3?
I have to agree, even though it wobbles on a flat surface, the v2 look and the samsung note 20 ultra camera bump area just looks so much more polished, seems like every chinese phone brand is making the same circular camera bumps apart from xiaomi
thanks...give us a review of the phone on its own first. you can provide subsequent comparison reviews. we need a detailed review of the V3 on its own!
i wanted to get the V2 last year but was scared away by it not being easy to get/use in the US. will it be different with the V3? I really want to get the V3, but if it won't work in the US i'll have to settle for the fold 6😓
Same exact question! I have Tmobile here in the states and I’m apprehensive to buy the magic v2/v3 or x fold because I’d just like to know definitely out of the box, if these will be able to be set up and run like a normal phone here in the states
Do you realise the charging bricks are typically particular to the brand of phone? A Samsung 45w charger will charge a samsung phone much quicker than a 100w USB c charger for say a macbook pro? Same goes for the Chinese quick charge devices, even more so in fact.
Rotten software and incompatible apps will kill any sales... A great phone but at these prices we still have to be sure it'll be a good purchase.. On another point: you're definitely not American so what is with the 'Zee' fold talk? You know how to pronounce the letter Z in British English....
Would like to ask averagedad as a first buyer from your store if my phone have any faulty how does it get fix ? Within the 1 year warranty Besides than that, any hidden charges or extra like shipping fee as I bought the phone ? Thank you very much
The world's thinnest foldable device with front S pen support, IR blaster to control all your devices... and software that in some cases beats Samsung...
Image needs tuning bro, your hands are showing hints of red, and the phone packaging looks grey, while most unboxing videos show the packaging as black, and that camera ring on the case is indeed a kick stand from what I've seen elsewhere Phone looks grey too Many thanks & keep up the good work
How thick is it including the camera bump? These new foldables are super thin but the massive bump just looks ridiculous. I assume with the case it doesn't look as bad. Pics with it on please because it's the final look that matters, bit the naked phone
Yes I've no idea who started this trend of stating sizes ignoring the camera, the size of a product should always be the actual overall dimensions, my V3 should be with me Wednesday and I bet the camera bulge is larger than the V2 In other words the overall dimensions open and closed will probably be the same as the V2
Please do it bro, compare the 3 Chinese monsters, Vivo X Fold 3 pro vs Honor Magic v3 and Xiaomi mix fold 4, all together will be the price of one Samsung Z Fold 46 😂 in 2 year plan.
