@@sean7471 My Fold 4 just turned 2 years old and it doesn't open completely anymore, like I can open it and it works but it's not fully flat anymore. Gonna replace it with the Magic V3 in a few months

Watching this video on my Honor Magic 2 Globe version. The silicone battery lasts longer, and it's thin and light, unlike Samsung heavy like a brick.

Magic Os is really really good for me because it looks 100% like harmonyos of huawei. So For me Honor phone UI are better than Samsung (b ur it’s just preference)

There is no such thing as an IP8, you probably mean an IPX8 rating, when it comes to IP rating 1st number means dust resistance and it's only up to 6, while 2nd number is water resistance and it's up to 8

If you specify if the rating is water or dust, then you can just use IP8. In test during the water test you don't use a rating scale with the x because you don't need it, you are doing water test first. Same goes for dust tests. It's only when combining the test results that you have to write ip68, ipx8 ecc. But again you can say water resistant with IP8 rating and it is not wrong.

My personal feedback: 1. I don't live in Asia so I'm unaware if you can purchase this phone in the USA.? 2. Also, in doing my research, the Honor website has a lot to be desired with regards to providing a level of professionalism and having a clear-cut means of purchasing/pre-ordering this phone. 3. Samsung's ZF6 is only $900 when factoring a trade-in of a ZF4.... 4. Samsung's name and QC alone is worth making the investment. There is very little history on the Honor company/products in the USA. 5. Historically speaking, just because one is the first to market (in this case Honor MV3), it doesn't often turn out to be (long term) the best. IMHO

i changed from fold 5 to magic v2. i then dropped my tab s8 ultra for an honor pad 9. and get me an honor stylus and ear buds now too. i was a samsung fan boy. i am now a Honor fan boy.

I absolutely love my OnePlus Open and so far, with the OS (other than Samsung's), Oxygen has been such a breath of fresh air. I'm interested to see and experience Honor's OS and definitely the Magic V3. Awesome video!! New Subscriber!

Frist thing, yes I believe Samsung could def do better with specs. The main problem I have with all these bash Z fold videos is this: a) they are region specific - it's a crapshoot to working in the US, until there is true and confirmed global acceptance from US carriers these other brands lose credibility b) they never show any long term real world usage, they only promote specs and hardware, never any time going over the software in depth, and comments backing up that these brands have good software, show some proof, until then it's all hearsay. c) the z fold may not have the best hardware specs but def a better well rounded phone which is what they are aiming at. If you want specs they have the S24 ultra.

And that's exactly one of my reasons I might even get this. Currently on a Surface Duo 2 and running two games at the same time (idle games of course) Depending on how this UI handles multitasking, it might be my choice for a successor.

What's with the Samsung super hate? I mean you are actually doing Samsung a favor by talking about it so much. You talked more about Samsung more than the product you are highlighting. I came to hear about Honor and would have love to see more comparisons between its earlier versions and where they are now. This review is totally biased. Honor seems to be a great phone. I wish you could have talked more about what the Honor Phone is, as opposed to what the Samsung is not.

I have never had a Samsung which lasts longer than 3 years so 7y update doesn't bring me anything On the other hand, our huawei p30 lite and p30 pro are in their 5th year and still going strong. I needed Google so I bought honor(huawei) magic 6 Pro and I simply love it

@@Tmr2001Yeah bro vivo x fold 3 pro has better battery and a larger display but not better display, honor's display is much better. Bluetooth and USB, vivo has slight advantages. Comparing in terms of a raw foldable, magic v3 is slimmer, is drop resistant provided by sgs Switzerland 5 star certification and a better pwm dimming frequency compared to vivo. When we take in terms of software, of course magic os is far better than funtouch os.

In Australia we only have the fold . Motorola. We don't have one plus but we have the sister company that we sell here think oppo fold. But $3000. No thanks. I still got the fold 6 for the price of the 5. Plus great trade in.

But what about the security risks of using a Chinese phone? Don't you have to worry about your personal data getting sent to the CCP without your permission? People always say that American phones also take your data too, but data going to a democratic government is not the same as data being taken by an authoritarian regime. Honest question.
