@@SanjeevKumar-ws2tu active stylus will have separate hardware installed into screen (copper mesh) which communicates with the stylus through Bluetooth and the it can detect were the stylus is, even in the air without touching the screen. Whereas capacitive stylus is same like your finger which have large area of contact and also works same as your finger cause the screen don't have a stylus hardware.
